Conroe is located in Montgomery County just north of Houston. Since Interstate 45 travels through Conroe and leads into Houston’s business district, residents prefer living in this suburban neighborhood and commuting to work.
It’s no secret that the cost of living in Conroe is lower than Houston. The city is attractive to many renters because of the reasonable commute times, and it’s only a seven-mile drive to Lake Conroe, a popular outdoor recreational area.
There’s a lot going on in the city – you just have to know where to look. Locals enjoy exploring the Sam Houston National Forest, which covers 163,000 acres of land and is the perfect place for camping or a scenic hike. After a lovely dinner at Red Brick Tavern, locals look forward to a musical at the Crighton Theatre on North Main Street. The Heritage Museum of Montgomery County is a great place to go and learn about the city’s evolution through the decades – and it is right next to Candy Cane Park.

The complex is well maintained, the office staff is friendly and helpful. I like the water features through the complex. It has large patios and 2 pools. Wetland birds visit along with the fish and turtles who live here. The apartment has nice shelves and curved accents that I like.
Pool has been green for 2 months no chlorine tablets and water always dirty. BBQ pits are not kept up with dirty and one does not work. Used to be good but lately has gone down.
Apartments are fine, nothing exceptional. Appliances are 18 years old, lots of problems with those. "The system is down." is the only communication I have ever gotten from the staff, in person and over the phone. It's been a month since moving in and that's all I know, the mysterious system is always down and it keeps anything from happening.
My best friend recommended me to this apartment complex, and I’ve fallen in love since the day I visited. I went for it and submitted an application online the fees are affordable and understandable, because you’re holding the unit as well as the application fee. Annette was the manager helping me at this site, and she is great during this transition in my life. She was able to let me know the possible fees that may apply, and gave me all the information I needed before approval. The approval only took about a week, and the process is going pretty smoothly so far. I appreciate Annette helping me with everything, please take this place in consideration. The prices are affordable, property is clean, and tenants seem pretty nice from when I visited last. Thank you
The apartment is really nice, we’ve been trying to sign for about a week now but we’re unable to ever get in contact with the property. I’ve left multiple voicemails over the past week and not one time have they called me back. At this point we’re trying to withdrawal our application but I can’t do it online and I’m still unable to get in contact with them. They’re extremely unprofessional and if the person who is originally helping you isn’t in office they basically refuse to help you because they “don’t” have access to any of my information and can’t answer any questions I have. We’ve had to go in twice in the past week because we unable to get anyone on the phone!! All they’ve said that they’re just getting a lot of calls but I still never hear back from them and the past few days I’ve been basically doing the leasing agents job. Highly disappointed and they charge 150 for an admin fee and a 75 dollar application fee which is absolutely ridiculous for an older property.

I travel often for project work so maintaining an apartment is very convenient for my lifestyle. I have lived at The Lakes at Westview for over a decade. The property is very quiet, clean, and well maintained. The office staff is above average in day-to-day property operations, resident service needs and are sincere and genuine. The maintenance staff are polite, trustworthy, and skilled in the various building systems. Property is in an excellent location and very close to stores, restaurants, and major freeway ent/exits. We moved here in July and we love it. The front office staff is friendly and always willing to help. The matience crew is outstanding they keep things running smoothly. The grounds are extremely well kept as well as the amenities. It is a great place to call home.

In addition to our complex being absolutely beautiful, the staff is AMAZING. I’ve been here for about 2 months now, and I’ve been blown away by our staff’s kindness and professionalism. The girls in the front office make sure to know every resident by name, and our maintenance is AMAZING. I’ve submitted several work orders since I’ve been here, and it’s never taken them more than 24 hours to respond and take care of the issue at hand. I recently got a pet who has wreaked a little havoc in my unit, and the staff has not only been understanding, but incredibly supportive and helpful as I transition my pup into her new space. I am always met with kindness and empathy by our office staff. I love that these ladies take the time to get to know each of their residents. This complex has been amazing so far. You will not regret living here!

My wife and I just moved here for work. I was apprehensive about living in an apartment since I have always lived in the country with no neighbors and I also have dogs. I was absolutely surprised how quiet it is here. I have only heard my neighbors once or twice. The grounds are nice and clean and well kept. On my patio you could swear we were the only people there considering how quiet it is. Parking can be an issue after 8pm near our building. Overall the apartment is nice except for a few corners cut on cheap appliances and fixtures and ceiling fans. At the cost of the apartment's rent you would expect better quality equipment. Don't get me wrong the appliances are new and everything else works but they are just not as nice and you would expect considering the resort style grounds in this complex. These details would bring these apartments from plain jane to nice. Let me end on a good note, everyone we have dealt with including maintenance has been great and helpful.
Pros: Good Location and close to 45, Restaurants, Walmart and Kroger. Cons: Several. Parking is a BIG joke. If you get off work at 10 or 10:30, and live in Building 15, then your going to have to walk over a quarter of mile to your apartment after searching 15 minutes for any parking spot while several empty and VERY expensive carports close by remain vacant. Second. There is spaces that it is muddy to walk in between Building 12 and 15 and the stones over the stream can be hard if you are handling groceries and are tired. The plug that’s next to the cable outlet in the Rayburn floorplan is controlled by the wall, and if your not careful you can turn off your whole internet . You have to get a LONG surge protector cable to plug to prevent that. Third, Towards the end of the lease, you have to give them 60 days prior of your move out date, which takes A LOT of detailed planning.

After looking around for apartments I stumbled in on this jewel! Great complex I’ve lived here for 2 years and enjoyed my time. Nohemi and Melissa the managers on property take care of any need you may have 24-hour maintenance if needed I never used them though nothing wrong. Indoor basketball court huge bonus for me and there are always machines open in the fitness center! Pools are always well kept great place for kids and adults at both locations. Best thing about this apartment is location close to I45 and the Woodlands, places to eat and shop are less than 5 miles from the complex you can literally walk to Lowe’s! Great Place Thanks!!

I was a resident here for five years. Never missed any rent payments, fully satisfied every account with zero balances, and my FICO is 820 . TWO YEARS after I moved out, they filed a debt collection notice for what they claim were my unpaid fees for TRASH service, for which I was never notified. Seriously?! Stay away!! You deserve better! Don't let their PROFOUND incompetence and/or mismanagement ruin your good credit! This place just isn't worth it!

I moved from California to attend graduate school nearby. The Lakes at Westview apartments are in the perfect location for my commuting anywhere from downtown Houston to College Station! I very much enjoy the staff & the amenities are great! The staff is incredibly friendly and will get to know you personally if you visit their office! I live "lakeside" with a fountain just out my window and I love it! The noise is so peaceful and I don't hear any traffic from the highway, which is great. I was extremely impressed when I moved into this apartment. I have never moved into such a clean (and nice) place before! The previous tenants must have been wonderful because I had no complaints when moving in. I also love how spacious my place is. The closet space, the huge bathroom, and the open layout is such a bonus! The outdoor porch is perfect size and there's a great sized closet outside too! Overall, I would highly recommend living here. It has made my transition to Texas so much easier and I love coming home after a long day! I have rude, loud upstairs neighbors but the staff has been very helpful in making sure they are quiet after hours and are respectful of everyone else living around them.

Beautiful grounds with several fountains and lakes. Office staff is very nice. Some organizational problems, like I received a letter saying my lease was already up. When I called they said they had given me a letter saying it was up for renewal but they had not. Fortunately they were willing to extend me two weeks to renew my lease. Fast with maintenance issues, always repaired in 24 hrs. I find it to be fairly quiet.
Good apartments, just wish the neighbors upstairs were less noisy. Besides that good value compared to everything around the area, good amenities, and good staff.
This apartment is right off 45 and has very easy access to get on 45. But it's far enough away from the freeway with the help of the fountains where there in no highway noise. Very nice apartment interior . Maintenance and management are average but get the job done.
me and my boyfriend looked all over conroe, and we found The Lakes at Westview the best option for us. It's a little bit more expensive than we wanted to pay, but it's worth it. The office staff is always friendly and greet us with smiles, and also so helpful. I cannot wait to move in.
The aminities were awesome! The floor plan was great and spacious. Everyone was friendly and willing to help!
