A quiet residential area, the Westwood neighborhood can be found northwest of the city center by three miles. Because it sits close to US Highway 131 and 43, the community provides a convenient neighborhood to enjoy daily life while remaining close to the city and within easy distance of Grand Rapids and Lake Michigan. Because Kalamazoo sits halfway between Chicago and Detroit, reaching those larger cities via Interstate 94 continues to be easy.
One of the things Kalamazoo has become nationally known for, the Kalamazoo Promise provides a four-year scholarship for all graduates of Kalamazoo Public Schools who have spent at least their high school years in the school system. In addition to the community college, Western Michigan University and the private Kalamazoo College call the city home. Property Ratings at Kendall Manor Apartments
I’ve been living at Kendall Manor for quite some time and have had a really good experience so far. I stay in a 2B2B apartment. Jennifer is super sweet and very responsive; she always replies quickly to emails or calls and tries to help with any issues right away. There’s no parking fee, heat is included and there are several laundry units throughout the complex. There’s also a bus stop nearby, and it’s about a 15-minute walk to the WMU campus. Overall, my time at Kendall Manor has been very pleasant!
I have lived at Kendall Manor for nearly 4 years and I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are complexes in the area for the same price that actually provide amenities and better living conditions. Kendall Manor believes they can provide subpar living conditions to tenants because the majority of us are broke college students.

Jennifer, the property manager, is super responsive, friendly, helpful, and accommodating! She has a much better personality and possesses a significantly higher level of professionalism compared to the previous manager. If you want to live in a place where your needs and requests are responded promptly and are well taken care of, this is it! I also really appreciate the notifications and reminders she sent out to keep the residents posted on changes and make sure they pay the rent on time. These are helpful to me as I certainly don’t want late payment fee. Overall, 5 stars for the property manager!

Just moved into my new apartment and it is amazing, especially the management. Jennifer is super nice, fun, quirky, and on top of it! Even when I ask 1000 questions about the lease and other miscellaneous apartment things(sorry about that girl!) When we placed work orders for the miscellaneous things in our apartment she sent someone from maintenance the NEXT DAY! He was nice too! Even the other tenants! We met two other people on our floor and they were studying at WMU like me and my roommate and just jovial. It is all around pretty awesome, and I would 100% recommend. I love my new home!

the leasing manger Jenifer is very bad.The houses are old and there are bed bugs.Don't let the cheap price lure you to take this filthy apartment.You won't get your fix diposit money back.They will charge everything from you including plumbing.They will try their best to break your pocket by fining this and that.Don't take it even if you are from Wmu
If you enjoy old, outdated, smelly, paper thin walled apartments, this is for you! You’ll hear everything your above and beside neighbors do. Clunking around, talking, walking around. Also, my apartment had mold and I got sick from the mold in my apartment. This is NOT okay. These need to be torn down and are long overdue for it. Not sure how they’re even still here. Don’t let the affordable rent and convenience of campus fool you. Please, try to not stay here.
Ellen the office manager is amazing! She is so kind and responsive when you need anything. There is one maintenance man names Randy and he is a super chill guy! I am hoping to renew my lease next year as well here.
