I am Ivy Point Kingwood. I moved in on March 29, 2019. We only had building the main building and buildings 2 and 3. Where the pool was a pile of dirt. I love it here. Come join us!

I have lived at Ivy point for 11 months now. The residents here are very friendly and engaging. The management staff and maintenance staff are wonderful. They are always willing to help you in any way they can. Anything that needs fixing or replacing in your apartment is done quickly and efficiently. The calendar of events is full and fun. You can stay very busy living here. There are activities for everyone. It's a wonderful place to live.

My husband and I moved into Ivy Point in the fall a year ago and love the arrangement of our apartment, the friendly and kind residents, the efficient and pleasant staff, and the many activities. Our apartment looks out onto the beautiful courtyard. We are extremely happy here.

I am happy here at Ivy Point. I enjoy the Residents as they are wonderful neighbors. I love our Management Team and Maintenance Team. I love the convenience of the location, the quietness, the amenities. Rising rents are concerning to everyone. There is no consistency in the lease. The rent changes daily. On the given day you sign your lease you may be lucky, you may not be luck. Leases used to be based on the apt size, longevity etc. not fluctuating real estate costs etc.

It's great living here at Ivy Point Kingwood. The staff is wonderful very professional, friendly, respectful and courteous. They are always willing to help in any way they can. During hurricane Beryl they stepped up 110% they didn't have to do everything they did for the residents but they went above and beyond. This is a wonderful community and a great place to live.

I’ve met many wonderful people. The quality of the apartments is very poor. To name a few things…..The cabinets are cheaply made and the drawers continually come off the track. The air conditioner is loud and a complete annoyance. The washing machine is cheap and extremely noisy. The quality of the carpet is very poor. The mini blinds are cheap and don’t close tightly.

I love living here because most of the residents are very friendly. There is a lot of activity going on and you have a choice if you want to go do anything. You can even decorate the hallway outside your apartment to make it fill like home.

From the moment I arrived I have felt a strong sense of community. I have moved from another retirement community in the area for several reasons, one of the main ones being the lack of a sense of community.

Under new owners and new property management, rent has skyrocketed yet services have gone down fast. Maintenance issues, elevators stay broken for months, trouble with office staff being available to residents.

All in all very happy here. But there is a lot of confusion about the increase in rent. Everyones increase went up a different percentage and also different lengths of contract. This has caused a lot of questions and dissatisfaction amongst residents. A few people have moved out because of this.

Ivy Point has offered so many great activities that has allowed me to make friends, and enjoy my retirement. It's nice to just get on the elevator and come up to my apartment after a fun afternoon/evening in the Clubhouse.
