The paved N Channel Trail is one of our favorites in Albuquerque, because aside from crossing streets, there are no cars near the trail. Enjoy our convenient location off Alameda, one-half mile west of Jefferson St NE. Take Alameda Blvd NE to Horizon Blvd. NE, which is one block west of the entrance to Balloon Fiesta Park, and turn north. Take the next left at Horizon Way NE. Live next to Balloon Fiesta Park and the Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum! North Valley is a northern Albuquerque suburb that stretches from State Route 556 down towards Interstate 40. Full of charming and affordable small homes and low-lying apartment complexes, North Valley has a surprising amount of greenery considering its desert surroundings. The nearby Rio Grande is partly to thank for North Valley’s landscape, but so are the close-knit residents of this New Mexico locale.
There are breweries and restaurants and local shops scattered all around North Valley with even more options to the east across Interstate 25.
