Property Ratings at Homestead Commons
Management responds to negatives online reviews by saying problems are unusual. That's bs. Homestead Commons is getting dirtier and dirtier. My relative is a long-time resident. It feels to us like management has abandoned it. Move here if you like all your possessions to smell like pot. If I can figure out if any laws are being broken by management allowing people to smoke in a no smoking building, I may start contacting the city.

Management does not care about you. They put the bare minimum into these units and expect luxury rent rates. Sloppy Maintenace, poor safety measures, constant trash throughout the property and if you express concern to management you’ll only get a canned “professional” response with little to no action. They could not care less about your problems unless it’s a liability for them. Your happiness and comfort isn’t a priority. There is ZERO security when it comes to yearly increases. They raised mine nearly $500 in one year. Despite my pleas to be reasonable they still forced an almost unheard of increase. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place and Village Green properties in general.
