      I scheduled a tour of the property and Toni showed me the two floor plans I was interested in. She answered all my questions and made the application process smooth and easy. The property is clean and the neighborhood is quiet along with the tenants. The maintenance requests I've submitted were fixed promptly. There is some airplane noise overhead as the neighborhood and Uptown area in general is underneath the departure path of planes leaving Love Field. But there is little airplane noise overnight.

      I’m very surprised that people are leaving key factors out

      Honestly, I would say the big perk of this place is the location. You can walk to pretty much anywhere in uptown. Other than that, this place has a lot of problems in my opinion. The walls are very, very thin, and I’m very surprised that no one has mentioned that. I can hear both neighbors and I can hear the person above me constantly. Residents often leave their trash bags in the hallway, so often that they’re clearly not getting fined for it. The parking garage is small, it’s obviously not built large enough for the number of residents in the building and half the time I have to park outside in the street. They’ve been remodeling amenities for months and of course the amentity fee has not dropped. So we cannot use them, but we are paying for them. The gym does not have a bathroom near it, you have to go across the building to use the one in the clubhouse, which is currently being remodeled. Which means if you have to use the bathroom while in the gym, good luck walking all the way back to your apartment. There’s no water fountains near the gym either. There are no towels, and the refrigerator in the gym fridge does not work. Do whatever you want with that information.

      The leasing and move-in process was seamless! Jade was responsive and answered all of my questions. The location is great- right in the middle of the city but the building is quiet and secure with respectful neighbors. Also, the big windows with downtown views are beautiful!

      Love living here! Gas stoves are amazing as are all the appliances. Big windows are perfect for my cat Bella to see her bird friends. Location is perfect for getting nearly anywhere around Dallas. Tons of great food and activities walking distance.

      Great building in a great location. Apartment units are nice and well-kept. The building has a more tame atmosphere with the residents. Less college dorm like than some of the other buildings in the area. Definitely would recommend 2828 to others.

      Staff is great and building maintenance is impeccable. I don't like the increase in rent and fees when I had to renew my lease in the middle of the pandemic having to decide to stay because of the danger of moving at the time. New corporation bought the building and started squeezing money: Bad marketing decision.

      I have lived in this building since just a few months after it opened. Throughout all stages, including COVID, I have enjoyed living here. It's one of the best buildings in the area without a doubt.
