The Cortland Haltsead team is always ready with a smile, a nice greeting, and are responsive to questions. Everybody in the office knows us by name (and knows my furry child's name, too!!). I am glad to call Cortland Halstead home.

The apt homes are spacious, and modern with high rise and mid rise living. The ground courtyards are beautiful, and amenities are really modern and kept clean. Access to covered and private parking is a plus. Great location to exercise on Braes bayou, access to lots of shopping and dining. A short distance to Galleria, Downtown, Med-Center etc. The residents are friendly and the management is very professional and attentive. We enjoy the high rise views, and have lived here over a year and renewed for another.
We love our apartment. Some occasional service request are not taken care of.
If you are looking for a wonderful place to call home, then you have found it here at Cortland Halstead. The units are gorgeous with all the best amenities. Beautiful pools, theater room, exercise room, club house, you name it, its all here. Beautiful grounds always lovely and manicured. Management and staff are wonderful and so nice and helpful. Maintenance is incredible and so fast. The apartments are healthy size and so comfortable. The appliances are great. Quiet and the most friendly neighbors. Its like family in the Cortland Halstead community. The location is perfect. 10 to 15 minutes to downtown, the medical center, the Galleria. If you want it all, look no further. You will really enjoy living here. I know I do. Ive been here 10 years and love it!
I have always loved living here and felt very safe. Lately it seems they may not be screening people like they used to and I do not feel as safe.

Over the past two years I have seemingly felt safe in this community and I know that if I have any issues management team will respond urgently. They care about their residents and always act in a professional manner.
I have lived in Houston for 42 years. Moved to Houston from Florida when I was 17. Ive lived in Apartments, townhouses, high rise living, just about everywhere. The staff and management are the best here hands down. Lindsey, Jessica,Tiffany, Mitsey and the maintenance team are 5 Stars in every way. What a group of special people. Lindsey is Amazing!! She is such a hard worker with a Hugh place to oversee. Professional always, kind, helpful, provides feedback always. I could go on and on. She is wonderful and actually she and the staff are why I have lived here for maybe 10 years now. They treat you like family. I wouldnt want to live anywhere else.
This apartment complex is great! The staff always responds in a timely manner, and everyone is friendly! Other residents also seem happy and respectful. The maintenance is all kept up, and everything looks great! The parking garage is a huge plus that ensures every resident has a place to park.

Too many large dogs! There are two dog parks but residents let their dogs use the shrubs and flower beds.
There is a saying home is where the heart is and that what’s truly makes The Halstead community different from all this rest. I could go on about the breathtaking views of the city to its convenient location inside the 610 loop, but what truly makes the community stand above the rest is the amazing staff. They truly make you feel a part of the family. The Halstead is truly one of Houston’s best kept secrets in apartment living.

I love the uniquely designed, beautifully landscaped grounds with shaded walking paths. Oak trees, palms, mimosas, oleanders, and many other trees surround the property. The understory is filled with all kinds of hedges, bushes, plants, and grasses that make your morning walk a natural experience. You dont find this feature very often.

I have read many comments over the months prior to moving here and moving here. Some of them scared me but I am very honest. I looked on line at over 100 apt and drove my Realtor crazy. I read all the reviews looked at all apts on line then would see them. Its rather funny as the very first day I looked we drove by the Halstead I remember saying how beautiful it was and too expensive for me. I was so wrong. This apt building is a dream come true. people come and go but still both staff and residents are the kindest, sweetest people you would ever no. So helpful to others. The apts are beautiful, the amenities great and when you see the club house every weekend filled to the brim with people and those people laughter rings through the air. You know they are having fun. I have lived here over a month and I couldnt be happier. There is not one single thing I would change. I have had people pick me up and say where are the apts this looks like a village in California. You would be the luckiest person if you decide to live here. I guarantee you will be happy every day of your life!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Halstead!

Great experience moving from home ownership to apartment living.
The Halstead community: neighbors, management, and maintenance are all so friendly. We receive help quickly when something has happened within our apartment that needs attention and care. The area has had some new additions recently that make things fun: parks, bars, cafes. It is a wonderful home for us and has been for a few years now.
