I have lived here a long time and love the location. If you enjoy going for walks or bike rides you can't beat the location. Public transportation is convenient too so it checks all the boxes.

Angela in the leasing office was amazing. I moved down to Fort Collins from Alaska and toured several apartments. I was drawn to the Habitat apartment due to location, style, and modern interior. The gentleman who came to fix our garbage disposal was quick to figure out the problem. He was kind and talked us through how to make sure it doesn’t happen again. We appreciate him being so quick and efficient.

This apartment property is a gem in the heart of Ft.Collins. Tucked in west of Shields and south of Drake. Habitat at Ft. Collins is a community you can grow with. The amenities are a great addition to this comfy neighborhood.

Rent is really high for what we're getting. Windows that don't seal. Gas station smells. Uneven floors and walls. Closet doors that sag. And no proper air circulation. However i love the location, i love the natural light. I like the big living room windows. Kind of bummed the fireplace is out of commission but oh well.

Unfortunately, the word Habitat has been misused for this apartment complex. It’s a messy place, the lawns are full of dog poops. The parking lots are falling apart and full of potholes. Unless, it has been fixed after I left. The pool was very dirty.

The new management is much better then the last management. They leave you alone and let you go about life. They are polite in my experience with them. They are also kind to my dog which is an absolute must for me. Overall Habitat is nice place in a great location to live.

The management is friendly and helpful, and maintenance is great! Like every place, it's got is quirks and problems, but overall I'd say it's a good place to call home.

They put hidden fees in their contracts and don't offer you the same courtesy and respect as you may offer them. I was totally and completely open about my intentions of moving out yet they never mentioned anything about needing to put in a 6 month + notice to move out in order to avoid a hidden fee. So to anyone who thinks they may not renew their lease, MAKE SURE YOU PUT IN A WRITTEN NOTICE TO VACATE BY MAR 1 and make sure to look everywhere for any hidden fees they've snuck in there (this one required looking at THREE different locations in the lease to even find). Office staff are like robots and somehow don't understand (or choose not to) how this is incredibly shady. They intentionally avoided putting a courtesy notice about this fee in the probably 20 different renewal letters and notices I got. Terrible customer service and definitely don't expect them to treat you like a human being.

Apartment location is great, staff is friendly, maintenance is quick, grounds are perfect for my dog. However, remodeled apartment was a rush job and cheaply done. Also, if you live under someone get ready to hear everything! If we are quiet, we can hear upstairs neighbors conversations (normal speaking volume), bathroom breaks, and just about everything else. DO NOT RENT HERE In late August/early September, Trinity Property Managament purchased Riverglen Apartments and renamed it The Habitat @ Fort Collins. Initially, I didn’t think much would change. Within the week they started tearing down the siding on every building, with workers playing round robin, never completing any one building without having begun construction everywhere. The construction takes place everyday, 8am-6pm, weekend or weekday, and has gone on for three straight months. This would be bad enough, but they started building upgrades INSIDE of the apartments shortly after. Notices are placed on doors no more than four days prior, and have even appeared just one day before, informing residents that workers will need “access to your unit” for the day, denying any requests to reschedule. To make matters worse, the timeframes offered typically specify 8am-5pm, if offered at all, and in the two instances where a one hour slot is listed, once they did not show up at all and the second time they arrived three hours late. Construction on the exterior left me without gutters for three rainy weeks, flooding my patio, and forcing me to carry my dogs up and down the stairs through a virtual tsunami. When I complained to the front office, they said the gutters would be replaced shortly. Another week passed before the workers even started. During this time, almost every one of the 26 buildings didn’t have gutters during this time either. Their website does not allow you to post reviews, despite having a review feature — draw you’re own conclusions. At all costs, do not rent here. They have no respect for their residents. I haven’t had two straight weeks of privacy since August and residents’ shared frustrated and distress is palpable.

It was an ok property before, now that Trinity Property Consultants took over it has been a nightmare.

I love this complex and the people who run it. We have a pool, hot tub, volleyball court, frisbee golf course, a dog park, barbecues throughout the complex. The location is perfect because we are in a little loop that gets the buildings off of the main roads while still putting us in close proximity to anywhere in Fort Collins. Just a 5 minute drive to the drive in movie theatre, Pineridge lake and nature area, and horsetooth reservoir! Amazingly pet friendly and there is a laundry facility on site along with the possibility to rent a unit for in your apartment!
The worst part about this apartment complex is the manager's office. They are the absolute worst to work with. They treat everyone as if they are stupid children. They speak down to you. Many of the new people do not know the SOPs. They make up answers that are wrong, and then the resident's have to deal with the consequences. Even though people have their own water-heaters, the water usage for the whole building is the grouped together and divided up. The maintenance crew, however, is amazing. I am on the first floor. When I moved in there were mice feces everywhere. You can hear mice in the walls. They called a pest company to place mouse traps. However, no one told me about this and I found dead mice under my sink months later. The apartments space is decent. I am not in a remodeled unit, but the space is decent. The location is perfect for me, but it is not an ideal location in Fort Collins. Having washer/dryer hookups is a big plus to this apartment. I don't recommend living here.
During my visit, the quality of the staff, grounds, and apartments was adequate, but the price was poor considering the quality. It maybe alright for college students who would share the cost of the rent with roommates and are going to throw parties.
My friend and I got a tour of the community and we loved it. Unfortunatly, we couldn't move in because of other reasons. The staff was really helpful and nice. They all knew all of the information, and answered any questions that we had.
I was so pleasantly surprised to go into the office on a very time sensitive day and I was handled with such efficiency it was mind boggling! Direct, clear, helpful, ready to take us to see an available unit and to no fault of the office, we didn't have an appointment so it was quite impressive. Needless to say we signed the deal and look forward to move-in. Thanks for running a place so well!
