We moved to the Grove in between looking for a house during Oct 2023 and Sep 2024. The office staff always went above and beyond to help us with any needs. Betsy at the office took care of use by helping us move into the townhome there and she was just always so attentive and prompt with everything . The location is gorgeous with all the shade, trees, dog park, and pathway to the woods for walking/hiking. We would definitly stay here again in the future. I also love how everyone is always outside.. all the families connecting and kids playing. This is a great place to live in such an amazing location.

Buildings are full of roaches. Literally picked a roach off my child! A huge one too at that! And they don’t show up for maintenance requests I have requests sitting there for weeks! Right after the new management raised rent at that!

This place is loud and unpleasant with gangs of kids roaming the parking lot, screaming and throwing things at cars and buildings. It is impossible to work at home because of the noise, and if I had a nice car, I would be worried about it. I often see bicycles and scooters lying in parking spaces, making a not-great parking situation even worse. One good thing - the pool area is pretty.

Avana Sterling Ridge staff do not disappoint-always providing the best care for renters-such as keeping us informed when our community is due a tropical storm or other inclement weather. Kind of gone downhill. Used to be very nice and quiet. New management doesn't do anything about bags of trash left out for entire weekends, and newer residents are a lot noisier then in past years.

The staff at the Avana made the moving process so easy. I moved from out of state, so they set me up on a virtual tour of the unit I wanted. They were also super prompt with answering any and all questions. It was a great experience.
I appreciate the safe care given during this Covid-19 pandemic. The maintenance crew arrived fully suited, protecting my son and me plus themselves from Covid-19 germs. One of the staff had also called in advance of their arrival, to secure safety measures. It meant a lot knowing how well residents are cared for.
This is the first apartment I have rented in 55 years. I was anxious as to how it would work out. I am delighted with every aspect of this move and thank Theresa and the staff at Avana, Sterling Ridge running a well operated and professional home.

I would really happy to share, Avana sterling ridge has a awesome floor plan and its located in the prime location and the community is a gated community. Access to near by restaurants and shopping center is very good.
During this pandemic, I cannot think of a better place than living here at Avana Sterling Ridge. With a truly caring staff as well as maintenance team, they make living here feel safe at a time of uncertainty. Plus, living within walking distance of 3 grocery stores, pharmacies, and restaurants, keeps reminding me of what an excellent decision I made when I moved to this complex.

The apartments themselves are fine and the maintenance people are good, but management is rude and unconcerned about residents' issues. The gates are broken most of the time; neighbors are loud, and parking is bad. I wish I had not moved here and cannot wait for my lease to end.

We are happy in our decision of choosing Avana Sterling Ridge . And having such wonderful employees as mentioned before , has made this transaction very pleasant.
The change in the management team has not been great. They're disorganized, inept, rude, and uninformed. From misplacing paperwork to their attitudes towards quality and professionalism, this management team needs a lot of work. The office staff is consistently rude and incapable of performing the most basic functions. There is always an excuse for "being busy", having a new team, or being generally overwhelmed, and I get that. Being rude or dispensing inaccurate information is never acceptable when people are paying thousands of dollars a month for substandard living conditions. I would have given this property one star, however, it's worth mentioning that the maintenance team is phenomenal. They solve problems quickly, professionally, and are consistently going above and beyond to make sure that any issues in their scope are addressed quickly.

When David was here everything was fine, now very poor. Manager doesnt care about noisy neighbors, dog poop everywhere, kids running wild and trash around complex.

I have not felt disappointed with the care the maintenance team provides. This and other factors are why I recently renewed my lease.
Over all experience is good with very good neighbours, but the mgmt is little harsh. Also the waste mangement ppl who collect thrash are very rude and don't know how to make them happy

An outstanding point about Avana Sterling Ridge is that the maintenance team provides high-quailty work to residents. And, they have been at Avana for a long time, which says a lot about stability here.

Excellent place to live
I have had a great experience living here. Great location and close to grocery stores and other stores. It is pretty quiet, haven't had issues with bugs or roaches. The common areas of the property are well kept and clean. Maintenance is fast and efficient. The staff and management are helpful, always available, and try to solve any problems that may arise quickly and with the residents best interest in mind.
The leasing staff have been helpful and responsive. Just moved into my apartment, which has been nicely kept and feels cozy. No complaints so far.
Apartments in The Woodlands charge rent that would give pause to any New Yorker, but even those in 'Town Center' don't provide anything like the 'urban living experience' they use to justify their ridiculous pricing. Avana Sterling Ridge is a good 10 minutes away from Town Center, but its rents are still reasonable, and though I can't walk to a movie theater or concert, we're in between two great shopping centers (one with a Kroger and one with an HEB) and there are walking paths connecting to the complex. The apartments are slightly older, and sometimes the AC bill can be way higher than it should due to less than recent appliances, but overall living here is great. It's more of a family apartment complex, which despite being in my 20s, I prefer to some other complexes my friends live in where you can hear your neighbors every night until 6 in the morning. Everyone is friendly, the pool is nice and I enjoy living here!
My brother lived here around 8-9 years ago and loved it. When I would visit it was just such a wonderful place to be able to come and relax from a hard day. Even 9 years later they have kept it top knotch and beautifully up to date. I found my personal apartment on apartments.com believe it or not and I could not be happier! Gorgeous swimming pool with outdoor grill, huge seating area, hot tub, gazibo, and always kept spotless and free of any problems. They have a mini indoor movie theatre/entertainment room that is to die for and a wonderful room to kick back in on the weekend. Gormet coffee machine with your choice of any coffee, frappacinno, lattee, or espresso you could think of. Little office center in case you don't have your own computer so you can get your business or personal matters completed anytime before 6pm. Also for the workout inclined they have a great sized workout room with drink machine, complementary towels, running machines, weights, medicine balls, and much more. Each apartment comes with a washer/dryer, built in ac/heat unit, ceiling fans, good sized patio/balcony, microwave, decent sized fridge, decent sized dishwasher, huge closet for master bedroom, and maintenance will never make a single complaint about fixing what you need done and almost all are the most respectful-polite people you will ever meet. Aparents are wonderfully kept up to standards and so clean when you move in. The staff here really care about all the residents that they come into contact with each and everyday and none will ever have an attitude with you. Out of a rating of 10 I would give these apartments a blowout scale way past 10 because there has in 9 years never been a negative thought in my mind about this place!
