Overall the community is great. The hallways are clean. The elevator works great and smells good. The parking lot always provides a smooth place to park my car. The laundry room is clean. Maintenance team here works hard and always seems dependable.
Cockroaches trash no security no amenities work not have they for 3 yrs - do not believe a word they say - only reason trying to clean is the 119 violations outstanding - found homeless guy sleeping in hall
At first I wasn’t sure if I would like the building, the apartment, the community. However, my first couple weeks here have been pretty good. Some of the downsides are the common areas like the elevator and hallway floors need a good cleaning. Both swimming pools are not in working order, but I understand they are being fixed. Now the positive things.. Vincent in the office is great! I love how they utilize a package room so I don’t have to worry about my packages being stolen. I love the underground parking. I’ve called for maintenance and they have come in a decent timeframe. And maintenance around the community is fantastic! Everywhere I look, they are working on something. When lighting hit a tree the other night, they had it cleared from the road quickly. My apartment is just beautiful. I don’t feel it was cleaned as good as it could be upon move in, but Vincent did offer the cleaning crew to come back out, which was nice! Overall, A good pick!
I have been here 8 months and still don’t have a garage space or storage unit and the outdoor pool still is not available to use. Paying for amenities that I can’t even get.
The apartment is good,but like my unit needs a lot of repairs and wasnt deep cleaned,and hallway and outside the entrance door needs to have some steps due to water flooding at the door giving residents hard time to jump.
New resident and I’m happy and loving the new place for myself and my dog Leo! Everyone has been super helpful getting me settled even with all my questions.

The cabinets are not updated and the carpets although shampooed were not clean and I even found a baby sock in the corner of 1 room and press on nails in the master bathroom

Apartments are decent sized but i hate how we don’t have access to the pool or in unit washers and dryers for the amount of money we pay i would love to be able to enjoy the amenities

The hallways are very clean. Noise from other apartments cannot be heard and goes unnoticed. Only maintenance should improve in terms of arriving on time.

It’s an okay place to live. It’s not cleanest but it barely passes for livable. The price for using the laundry machines went up since I first moved in which I can understand why but I would also like to see where that extra money is going towards. Been living here for 9 months and had witnessed them getting the hallway carpets cleaned once. There’s always junk left out by the mailboxes and the hallways tend to smell funny. I’m not even sure if my heat is working in my apt but I manage. You get what you pay for.

Rats, roaches and awful, unhelpful staff. You will be toured through the only nice unit on the complex and in the end be thrown into what is the norm on this complex. The apartments are falling apart, the laundry rooms are disgusting and full of trash because staff does not do their jobs. Complaints to apartment staff or maintenance get you no where . Do not move here. Staff takes advantage of those who do not speak english and believe they can do it to everyone else. You will end up needing to pay 2x the rent to leave an apartment where sinks do not work, mice are running around your kitchen, and roaches are climbing on your walls.
Amenities are not available or in working shape, good apartment layout, but building is rundown. The Biltmore layouts are gorgeous, and they have potential, but it’s obvious the managerial staff doesn’t have time for certain things that could be important..

Very poorly maintained. The common area is filthy. More often than not the laundry room is dirty and for the time living here there’s only been two operating washing machines for the entire floor. Trash everywhere- hallways, staircases, common areas, around the building, no security whatsoever. The garage always smells and has water everywhere on the floors. Fire alarms are being pulled for no reason, almost weekly. Zero sound proofing. The outdoor pool was closed all summer and the previous summer. Potholes have been atrocious and left unfilled for months. Went to the office recently and there was a cockroach crawling on the office desk. The parking rules are not accommodating to guests. The elevator is not maintained and dirty inside.
Nice apartment for the price, have had no issues with property management so far or maintenance. Any questions or concerns have been handled properly and professionally. Not a bad pick for my first apartment

Scheduled a tour but no one met me for it at the building. Sent an email and got nothing. Tried calling, but no one in the office picked up, so I left a voicemail. It's been a week, and I've still heard nothing. Not a good sign.

Way overpriced for what you get. Surprise charges with rent. Not a well maintained property. Management does not follow up. Car has been towed twice. Go rent a nice townhouse for the same amount or less you would pay here.

The Glen is a great place to live, but with management changes I feel they have a difficult time. My apartment layout is so nice, screened in private patios are unique in apartment homes giving you a feeling of not feeling confined. It's quiet in my building. I am thrilled to see the halls being carpeted and I hope they are going to paint. The Glen has so much potential. Garage door needs to be fixed properly, so it shuts . That's for our safety. That and front door of d building. Courtyard is beautiful and kept up.

This is a good community. I've been here for over 10 years. I've seen alot of mgmt changes some for the good. Maintenance is awesome they work so hard to keep our community up and running.

Glen at Burnsville is a nice place to live. Management is friendly. Most of the residents are friendly. It's quiet. But residents like to leave their garbage and unwanted furniture in the hallways and laundry room which is embarrassing when I have company coming over. The carpets and hallways need updating. There are stains everywhere and it smells awful

The management and maintenance team are VERY good. Especially maintenance. Always responding in a timely manner. With that being said, I was excited to see improvments to the building authenics this spring/summer.I was very disappointed that things have been put on hold due too budget restraints. I love my apartment but I'm embarrassed to bring anyone here because of the condition of the building. Stairs are loose, carpet stained, frequent smell of weed that absolutely over takes the entire floor. Management is trying but Phil and other management just have so much to deal including the recent fire. I know they are trying however I pay quite a bit of money to live in a building where I'm embarrassed to bring guest to.

DO NOT RENT HERE!! If I could give this place zero stars I would!! This place is absolutely horrible there have been 3 fires in the last 1.5 years all of which destroyed 4+ unit. Trash in hallways and garbage on walls. Cockroaches, bugs and mice! Laundry rooms are gross. Amenities offered are lacking severely in all ways. Management is terrible and offers no help. I have had three packages stolen from the locked room that they provide and when mentioned to the office they told me that there was nothing they could do to fix it because it’s an amenity that they offer and that they have no responsibility for it along with no cameras in the area. The elevator in our building has been broken for the last three months. Office staff has lied saying that things have been fixed when we know that they haven’t we had requested to have pest control come out due to a mice problem and nobody came when we mentioned it to the office the office person told me that pest control had been out even though I had been home all day and nobody showed they tried to tell me that pest control had been in our home. Trying to get a hold of the office is almost impossible they seem to be screening phone calls. I could go on. DO NOT RENT HERE!!

Bad management, nothing is ever completed on a timely manner, the same pipes leak for months on end and it takes them a month to get a major plumbing issue solved. Hallways are always dirty with trash from residents that stays there for at least a week. Too high of pricing for the low quality.

These apt. Homes are a beautiful lay out, beautiful grounds outside, quiet,so far I love it here. The staff are so polite and courteous .they attempt to meet needs as soon as possible. Great maintenance.

Strongly encourage please to come look at the apartments. Not only its very peaceful place but the front desk employees were amazing at helping me move and making it very easy the leasing process.

I like the Glen in Burnsville because it is in a good location near 35E and 35W. Plus, there are grocery stores, restaurants, a pharmacy, walking parks near county road 11, and a bus stop within walking distance for those without a vehicle. The maintenance and community staff have always been super nice and helpful.
