My experience living here is being amazing! Everything is good, the staff is helpful and polite, the amenities are modern and well cared, the structure in general is superb. My only complain is the chosen ISP (Optical Communities), the internet provided by them is bad, slow, unstable, I'm having issues connecting to a lot of foreign websites and they just don't provide any support (they even told me they don't read support emails). Their service is heavily criticized online and their website is something straight from 1995. Its a shame such a modern and good building has them as their ISP.
The staff is super friendly and all the amenities are very nice. It’s a great location right in Fulton market and is near a lot of great restaurants.

This is a great building but one elevator always seems to be broken and takes time to fix. Rent increases are way higher than average it’s crazy.

Gateway Westloop is a great place to live. All of the staff is super friendly, and the location is amazing. The amenities space is really nice and there are a lot of fun community events each month.

The gym is dirty, and the elevator is always broken, & now street parking is very challenging and my rent was increased by $400/month for my lease renewal. This is why I won’t be renewing my lease.

Love the amenities and the staff. Everyone is super helpful. Mariano facing apartments do get a lot of noise from the ac vents below. Would definitely view the apartment in person for noise control.

Community is great. One of the two is down for days every month Elevator sucks and building does not stay as clean as it should. Location is great, however crime is increasing now in the West Loop and I no longer feel safe.

Nice full amenity apartment that takes care of their residents. Located in the middle of all the popular food spots on the Westside of Chicago.
Quiet apartment, great staff, prompt and helpful maintenance team. Beautiful pool in the summer and gym with top of the line equipment. Only complaint is that the building controls when you can turn on your heat and air conditioning with no flexibility. It can get very, very warm in the fall and spring months. My apartment has been up to 80F in November.
Gateway is great, with Akuba throwing great parties for tenants, free coffee, with amenities staying open all night. The main issue why I would not renew my lease here is because there are only two elevators and the majority of the time one is down and not in service.
It's only been a few months, but so far, everything is amazing! The staff is very friendly, always here whenever you need anything. Also, I requested maintenance at night, and they fixed my issue the next day.
The building is great and the staff is very friendly and kind. The community is very welcoming and the neighborhood is a great place to live.

The amenities in the building are very nice. The big issue I’m having as someone that just moved in is the building said they were going to have our place cleaned for us and it was a pretty sloppy job. Crumbs in some drawers. The vent in the master bedroom’s bathroom is absolutely filthy and there were black hairs in the second bathroom.

Gateway is an amazing community! They are constantly finding ways to improve amenities which truly sets them apart from other apartments in the area. Gateway is also a wonderful place to live if you have pets, as they are very pet friendly. They even throw monthly parties just for our furry friends!

I love the building and all the staff. The location is also perfect.
Office management and maintenance is great. The rent is high and the hallways constantly smell of marijuana.
