The staff of this apartment are on of the greatest! Tad the Maintance guy is always on top and ahead of the game! They have all helped me so much!!!
Please people, look else where!,,the appliances in these apartments ARE NOT up to-date, in fact the Hot Water tanks are 30 years old!, Furnaces are not properly cleaned either. My apartment flooded due to an old hot water tank busting. All my furniture was ruined and the complex offered nothing. Please HAVE renters Insurance if you must live here!!!!!The bundle is absolutely out of this world, going up gradually., $180 a month on TOP of the over priced rent for a place with rundown interiors, outdated appliances, and a staff that basically just doesn't care! Please look somewhere else!
Something was always leaking or breaking. Once it was reported there was always a reason why it would take "days" to address.
Average reasonable place
Price is reasonable. square footage is adequate. semi new appliances, washer dryer in unit. the bundle service is a little bit in question In regards to the price, plus gas and electric that I also pay for. all in all average place to live..
I have lived in both a town home and 1 br here at FWL and both are great. Some of the best features are washer/dryer units provided, private fenced-in yards, wood-burning fire places, and large kitchens. The golf course views are very pretty and the community is extremely pet friendly - which I love!
Not worth the money-Hidden Costs
Decent sized units but upkeep not done regularly so everything seems shabby and uncared for. Things seem to fall apart or break on a regular basis. Lots of flooding due to poor grading. There is an extra fee charged monthly for water and cable. It is disclosed up front but the actual cost gets swept under the rug during the discussion. Beware it is almost $200 dollars. You are forced pretty much to use Time Warner and then to get decent internet speed and more channels you must have a separate account with TWC. You will pay 90 dollars a month for that which you could get for 30-40 if you were able to open on your own. I think at one time the property was very nice but those days are long gone. For the costs of the units you can do much better in the same area. Great school system but the complex isn't worth the prices charged.
Apartments are a Nice size but complex has hidden fees, took mechanic over three to fix a leading faucet, great School zone
Spacious one bedroom with great view
This is one of the largest one bedrooms in the area, and one of the best prices as well. The apartments are located on the little turtle golf course, so most of the apartments have a view of the course. Very quiet area, and helpful office staff. I love that every unit has a wood burning fireplace, as well as comes with a washer and dryer. The buildings are a little order, but have been maintained. It's easily located just a few minutes to 270, so commuting is a breeze.
Fairway Lakes home away from home
Fairway Lakes is a wonderful apartment complex that offers 1-2 bd apartments/ townhomes. I currently live in a 1 br 1 bath second floor unit with a private patio. I love that Fairway Lakes is situated on a golf course. Fairway Lakes also has updated appliances with a dishwasher and washer/dryer in all units. If I have a problem to report, maintenance responds within 24 hrs of my report. Love it here at Fairway Lakes.
Great location and in a great school district. Older apartments and it's really starting to show. Maintenance always responded quick for me, but there method of repair is a quick fix that covers up the problem temporarily rather than upgrading.
The staff made moving in (though there were some snags) a very stress free situation and continue to help whenever a problem arises! So far there haven't been many. They all love my dogs too. Speacial shouts to Brooke she's great
Nice complex to live in
We have been here for about a year. I love how close it is to Easton and Polaris! I also love being able to walk my dog around the complex and the backyard fenced in.
The apartments are roomy and they provide very nice appliances. The rooms are reasonably spacious, and the kitchen is the perfect size for what I need.
Location is awesome - so close to everything. And the views from the apartments are so peaceful. The golf course makes it feel like you live at a park.
Great Place to Live
My wife and I have lived here for two years. We love the floor plan of the apartment, it's very different than any other apartment complexes in the area. This is the only apartment complex I've seen that has fenced in backyards, its great for our dog. The neighborhood is beautiful and very quiet. The office staff has improved greatly since we moved here. They are friendly and responsive to requests. Our rent didn't increase too badly from our first year to our second year.
Apartments are a nice in size with updated appliances, fenced backyard and friendly staff. Gym have to be improved otherwise it is a good place to live.
Broken Air Conditioner!!!
I brought my three-month-old baby into town to visit my friend who just moved into these apartments only to find out the first night that we were there on a Friday night that the air conditioning wasn't working so my friend called to report the problem on Saturday early in the afternoon and three weeks later it is still not fixed!! We were planning on staying the entire weekend but it got way too hot for my baby so we ended up driving back to Indianapolis on Saturday evening instead of getting a hotel! Now my friend is also having electrical issues in her bathroom and I think she also mentioned something about a window! Considering the fact that she just moved in you would think that all of these things would've been checked and fixed prior to her move-in date now I think she is planning on withholding rent and taking legal action because nothing is getting done!
I've been here 5 years and can no longer justify staying. The asking price is far above the market value, everything is outdated, "friendly" management turns hostile after lease is signed. It used to be more quiet and safe but for the first time in 5 years a package was stolen from my front door within 30 minutes of delivery. The unit was not ready on move in day, First Billing charges for services was an after the fact surprise, no grace period for rent or First Billing (both due on 1st), refusal of rents for non-payment of First Billing (in direct violation of the Ohio Revised Code), threats to enter premises without 24 hour advance notice, carpet easily tore up at edges while cleaning, windows and walls leak, constant harassment in the form of inspections that feels more like a false pretense for snooping, requested maintenance not done (have pics, now water heater is nearly rusted apart and falling through the floor), and lastly they will attempt a self-help eviction (in direct violation of the Ohio Revised Code, which also have pics) if you don't pay promptly on the 1st. The fitness center is a very small room with few amenities. Lastly, the exterior colors are an eyesore. I would not recommend this place, or any Connor Group property, to anyone.
A horrendous experience & horendous staff
We lived in Fairway lakes for a number of years. The place is old and decaying despite what you see from the outside. Little investment is made to internal buildings, things are clearly being run by the Connolly group to squeeze every penny from tenants. The administrative staff were HORRIBLE, Susie and her large colleague here the worst adminitstrative staff I have ever dealt with, they clearly hate the tenants. Read your contract when you sign and DO NOT trust what they tell you, they only care about money and nothing else and will leave you high and dry. BE WARNED, watch your back!
From the time we moved in there was issues. Paint job was horrible, grass was cut with a weedeater. Looked horrible. The carpet was filthy. The management lie to you constantly. Everything takes weeks to fix. The whole place is out dated and overpriced. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here. Too expensive for a basic apartment. They got 2 stars for the location only. Otherwise none at all.
My daughter is staying at Fairway and I couldn't be happier with the communication with the office, the cleanliness of the grounds, and the safe feeling I have when I visit her weekly. The attention needed in her home was taken care of immediately and she has neighbors that she can call and go it if she needs anything. Couldn't ask for a better feeling knowing she is safe and with good neighbors and dedicated leasing office. Thank you
The unit was very old, which we knew moving in, but when things broke they didn't fix them. I asked them 4 times to fix ice maker and finally gave up and just had a broken one. The heat or air conditioning routinely would stop working. The floors creaked so bad it would wake up my baby every time we walked. The area and schools are great but kids roam around the complex all the time and the pool is over run with people in the summer. My kids couldn't swim because teenagers were cursing or rough housing by the pool.
