Property Ratings at Ezlyn
Two weeks after moving into the apartment, my apartment completely flooded. I was put up into a hotel for 2 weeks while they fixed my apartment. After finally moving back in, the apartment was still not livable and I had to ask to be moved into a new apartment. Part of my move in agreement was a free month of rent. I did not receive 2 of those weeks as my apartment was not livable. Upper management denied that I should still receive those free weeks. While the office staff is very nice, it is very apparent the parent company cares more about money than the people that live in their apartments. Maintenance requests go untouched for weeks (maybe months) at a time. I haven't been around long enough to find out truly how long. I was told weeks ago to not use my washing machine since water is leaking under the floors and have had no communication with any resolve to the issue. Would not recommend this complex to anyone. Update: 2 weeks later and after 3 email requests for an update, I have had no communication at all and still do not have a working washing machine more than a month into a second apartment on this property. It is clear the tenants mean absolutely nothing to this property management.
Mouse infestation I was living with mice for months. I had been traveling for work for a good portion of early 2022. One night, I saw something running around in my apartment and thought I lost my mind. Turned out to be a mouse as I confirmed the next day. They sent over someone from maintenance (not pest control) to put out traps. They caught one mouse and said it must've gotten in from the water heater. I was told they put in a temporary repellent and pest control would be following up. Pest control never followed up. Fast forward a few months, I saw a live mouse fall from the top shelf of my pantry into a bag. Over the course of the next few days, I found droppings all over my place from the closet to the pantry to under the sink. There were mice and mice droppings everywhere. Management's response: put out traps. They put out a few traps but it wasn't until the 3rd or 4th visit that the actual areas of entry were sealed. I kept telling them they were coming from the water heater but it wasn't until the 4th visit that the water heater was actually removed by pest control to be evaluated. Leila asked me if I had dog food out in an accusatory manner. I have a dog but so do others in the complex. My dog was also not present for the first incident due to my extended travels.. I was released from my lease but not compensated for all the damage. There was more than a few hundred dollars worth of non perishable groceries in my pantry, all contaminated by mouse poop. I had a box of coconut water in which I had been drinking that I later found mouse poop in. My health was severely risked due to management's lack of attention. I have since moved out but just got notice I would be charged a cleaning fee and trash disposal. I only left a few items in my coat closet because they were covered in mouse poop. Leila even told me via email I wasn't responsible for the mouse poop. And they also had the audacity to charge me for a cleaning fee after all the filth I was forced to live in. Of my $450 deposit, they gave me $50 back. That is $400 they are trying to keep from me after the inconvenience and risk my life was put at.
I like the location and the price of our unit. I wish we had a better patio for growing plants. And I would really prefer to live in a complex that offers onsite recycling services.
I have recommended Sofi to others I know looking for an apartment in this area. I felt the service has been well maintained for a more reasonable price.
Pretty quiet and clean community. It's in a nice spot easy access to 36.
Rental market here in Colorado is way too overpriced. However, Sofi has been the best value we could find. We love living here, but hope that prices in the Colorado market will stabilize.
It's a very well kept community, and the staff seemed very knowledgeable and helpful.
It’s a nice apartment, and the office staff is pleasant, but management finds creative ways to make you pay a little extra through fees. This is the most expensive place I’ve lived in, so it kinda irritates me that they are like that. I’m moving out for other reasons, but still wouldn’t recommend it to a friend.

The community at SOFI seems great. Well maintained, clean, quiet, and the leasing office team was super helpful.
It's competitive pricing but in general living in the area is expensive. The kitchen/cabinets aren't "remodeled" they are just the original cabinets re-painted. There are wasps nests everywhere...on the stairwell, on my patio in in between the building bricks. Not sure what can be done for wasp control but it would be nice. Also adding a recycling dumpster would be nice. Other than that it's been a great experience living here

I would recommend this apartment community because is attractive and well kept. Also, Adriana Castaneda was respectful, knowledgeable and pleasant to converse with.
There's room for improvement in amenities and it's a little pricey, but it's a pretty great place to live.
The cost is higher than some other newer/lager complexes. But, I do love the location, I like our unit, and the office staff has been great to work with.
It is in a perfect location where it feels calm and quiet. It's also an amazing place for dog owners.
Ready to rent, mostly based on location but the community seems nice and the office staff seemed knowledgeable and prepared.
The front office staff and the maintenance staff are the best!!No matter what, they all are very helpful, friendly whether I have a problem or not. They always make me feel I can just drop in to say hi. I have never lived where I feel this comfortable.
It served well as the first apartment I've had however feel the rates are much higher than should be for ft2 and quality and age of aparments. Will be moving on to better & bigger places for similar rates.
It is cheaper than other aprs in area and people are nice. Good amenities too. Noise is my issue and the washer. Everything else works great!!
I would definitely recommend this apartment. It's a beautiful community and a lot of great amenities. The rent is a little high but nothing you wouldn't expect for living in this area. The leasing agent was wonderful and very helpful.

Policies of the management. Example 65.00 Late charge no option but to use a bank draft. Poor Policy Lost garage 1.99 tag Sofi want 45.00 to replace. Poor Policies show disrespect for your customer. The office staff does a great job!
I moved here from WV without having seen the apartment and was very pleasantly surprised. The amenities are great (especially for dog owners), maintenance is quick and good at their job, and the grounds have plenty of trees and squirrels. We have a larger 1 bedroom and it's the perfect amount of space with a very livable layout. Being so dog friendly (a spa!), there is barking in the neighborhood. But my husband and I barely notice.

I'd recommend based on the facts that it's a nice environment with no neighbor problems. The only downsides are the rent feels a bit high and parking can be a problem at times.
Easy to request maintenance, the crew responded promptly and quickly fixed the issue. Left me a detailed note of the work down which I greatly appreciated. I couldn't bask for a better system. I don't have many issues but the crew is always quick to action. The leasing team as well is superb.

I have only lived here for just over a year, but the community is great. The amenities and grounds are well cared for. Any maintenance calls have been handled timely and efficiently. This is not luxury living and they do not market themselves like that. These are quaint places with all the right amenities for the right price. I live in a less updated apartment, but I like the brown cupboards and off white walls. The upgraded ones have less carpet which is always a plus and a different color scheme. They are pretty spacious with a lot of storage (at least in the 1 bedroom I live in). I have a dog and the area is pretty walkable. Dry Creek trail is only .5 mile walk and then you can choose a direction and walk for 5 miles. There are limited recycling bins, but they are all close enough that it is not that big of an inconvenience to recycle. There is a bus stop right outside the complex that will take you to the Broomfield park and ride. There is no sidewalk or walking path to the park and ride, so if you want to go carless and need to commute to Boulder or Denver you will need to take 2 busses. I will be moving to Denver next month and they have been great with communication and expectations in ending my lease.

The staff here is wonderful. They are always very courteous, helpful and kind.
I feel like the quality of fellow tenants is questionable. This is reflected in their poor treatment of the trash and recycling areas. Also lack of general respect by not picking up their dog droppings, which is frequent around my building and painfully obvious when it snows.
Dominick and his team are AMAZING!!! They always do the best job and do it fast
The finishings look good but seem to be of low quality, the tiles in my bathroom routinely start peeling, and the counter top in the kitchen is starting to flake off with light usage and standard cleaning using natural cleaners.
Excellent customer service. Warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable of property and information necessary to make a smooth transition from another state!
Nice community. Staff is very friendly, amenities are nice. The changes to our lease and the lack of follow-up, paired with not all of our paperwork/keys being ready to go on the move-in date was a bit off-putting and didn't necessarily make for the best first impression.
place looked good at the surface, but the remodel was done cheaply. Drawers weren't on real tracks and so it felt like they were going to fall out. Insulation on the oven was a joke and the cook top surface would get hot enough to burn when the oven was on.
They really helped us through our complicated application, and made us feel important. Really great staff! Big thanks to Adriana.

Our apartment is our ideal first "home". The apartment itself is the perfect size with cute decor. While some of the woodwork, cabinetry and paint is a bit old and just "painted over", we love our carpet, wood floors, fireplace, appliances and VIEW! The community that we live within is safe, well kept, and inviting. My favorite part of our complex (besides our own apartment) is the pool and fire pit area. We love having friends over to relax and unwind.

The quick response to fixing anything that impedes our living situation is why I would recommend Sofi. Sadly, I work more than 40 minutes away but it is worth the drive. Also, the cost of living is perfect especially since we wanted a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment with an area we can eat dinner and a separate area we can call a living room. Only thing I dislike are the carpet due to my allergies. I wish we had new carpet installed upon moving in even though we got them professionally cleaned. I also dislike the tiny toilets.

Lived there for 1.5 years, only moved out because I got a new job that relocated my family out of Colorado. Quiet, well-maintained complex with professional and helpful employees. Service requests were handled in a reasonable amount of time. Emails were always responded to promptly. The apartments are a little older but they’re very well-maintained. During the time we were there SOFI upgraded the pool area, mailboxes, added a dog wash station, and added electronic parcel lockers. I’m sure they improved many other things that I didn’t notice, too, but these are indicative of a management company that cares about improving the resident experience and staying competitive in the Denver rent market. Pricing was fair, especially compared to some newer properties to the north. Would 100% recommend to anyone needing housing in the NW Denver metro area. We were truly sad to leave and if life ever brings us back to Denver, SOFI Westminster will be on our short list of apartments.

They fix things when they break. While the lead time on standard issues is a little long, I've never had one that wasn't fixed, or was blown off.
I have been very content living at Sofi Westminster. My biggest concern is that once our summer special rent price goes up after one year, that we will no longer be able to afford the apartment.
