Agree about cockroaches...

I can for sure say that Everton at Belmar isn't a place I would want to stay again. Like several of the ladies mentioned this apartment complex isn't the greatest. I was neighbors with poster about cockroaches and I can concur with her about the problem; it was awful. The other annoyance was to hear an office employee tell you they know there's a problem with roaches but they aren’t actively doing anything about it. Every morning when I left for work around 6:30 am I would see them crawling all over the ground in the complex on top of having them in the apartments. A recent allergy test now confirms cockroaches as a new allergen. I wonder why!!!?? On Top of that my AC/heater never worked properly. They just put a Band-Aid on things that really need to be replaced. My bedroom was always 10° colder or hotter depending on the weather no matter how often I ran the AC or the heater. It got to the point where I had to go out and get an electric blanket, small portable heater for the winter and a fan for the summer months. I was even thinking about purchasing a portable AC before the summer hits so I’m not sweating like crazy. The vents always blew out these black specs and it covered my dishes and coffee mugs, and mixer that weren’t inside the cabinets. Don’t even get me started on the trash and dumpsters. My other issue is the terrible communication they have with tenants about known problems. I was never able to use my payment coupon to pay rent. They were told about the situation yet didn't seem to care to fix it and charged me late fees even though they know about me not being able to pay and the code not being reset by the company or complex. I was even told they were doing me a favor by allowing me to pay by money order. How are you doing me a favor when things on your end don't work??!! I was told by the office manager that they knew it wasn’t working but corporate office never followed through. Another issue was with renewing of my lease. They would constantly forget to give me the renewal. They also put false dates for the renewal because they couldn't keep up with the dates. When I electronically sign something there is a date on it yet you change it?! Other posters mentioned how rude they were if you decided to go into the office and ask for assistance. It was like I was putting them out or annoying them. Wow this is your job. I sure hope you will think twice before renting here.

Do you like cockroach traps for decor?

I have lived at Everton @ Bellmar for eight months. During the first few months, I lived in the "honeymoon stage." The rent wasn't terrible for the location, there were good amenities, and people were friendly. However, like all honeymoon stages, good things must come to an end. This is an absolute nightmare of a complex. I am a very clean young professional who does not keep cardboard boxes or anything of the sort within my apartment walls. However, roaches infiltrated my apartment. When I called the front office (which is at an entirely different complex, by the way), I was informed, "yeah, we have a bug problem right now[...] I suggest a large shoe?" It took two weeks for the complex to even spray the apartment, which provided the roaches even more time to spread. Upon speaking with my neighbors, I found out they have been suffering with roaches for months and the complex refused to help them. It's like a mass exodus around here with the sheer number of people moving out because of the circumstances. I cannot stress this enough: do NOT move here until they do a major, major overhaul on this complex. You will regret it.

My stay

The Everton is so beautiful . I moved in about a few months ago and love the upgraded apartment I have . Despite the beautiful scenery , pool and lovely apartment this particular leasing company is horrible . The staff is very rude and unprofessional . Let’s start of with the work orders they take forever to get done and they hire random people that don’t have on uniforms and barely speak English . I called to complain and they just take note every time . Since I moved in things just started to fall apart. Leak in the closet , bath handles falling off . Sink stopped up . Flooring pulling up . The list goes on . Beautiful but unprofessional staffing , office and maintenance .

If I could give NO stars... I would!

When I first moved in to Everton back in 2016, it was a beautiful community. Quiet and nice, the staff was friendly, and the property was a great place to live. Now, things are totally different. We don't have a leasing office staff because they took away our two office employees and we are now forced to go next door to a "sister property" to pick up mail and deal with apartment issues. Several of my friends and I have had more than one piece of mail/packages LOST! And the office staff shrugs their shoulders like it doesn't matter. The girl working in the Riverfall office (the "sister property") is always rude, has a bad attitude, and unkind. I can't wait to MOVE OUT!!!! Everton today is NOT the Everton it used to be. So sad, I wish all these changes never took place.

Nice apartments, if you like zero staff on site and walking 100 yards to get packages.

When I first moved here I was very pleasant with the process and the front staff. They typically always had two front office employees working at all times which was great and were very helpful. Fast forward to summer of 2017, here we are with zero staff in the front office and zero maintenance staff on property. This was seemingly overnight, for all we knew was there was notes posted on the front office doors saying this office is "currently closed" with zero explanations as to why and not knowing what a huge inconvenience this has caused tenants at Everton as this is going on about 3 months now mind you. We now have to walk to another property to pay rent, ask questions and pick up packages as I strongly do not believe this is how you take care and treat your loyal tenants here at Everton. It seems like a huge burden for them to hire a new front office employee, but most likely do not want to pay someone which lends us the short end of the stick which is very frustrating. Imagine staying at a hotel with zero front office staff or maintenance around at any given time, that is what it feels like living here. I will gladly change my review if changes are made, but I really don't hope they expect this to be a long term solution.

The place to be!

We love Everton! The community is quiet and safe. The staff is fantastic and they plan nice things for the residence a few times a month. You really cant beat the quality, price and location anywhere in Dallas.

Easy Move

I had to make a quick one month move for work to Dallas from St. Louis. I really didn't know where I was going to move and I was scrambling to find something. I'm glad I noticed this place because it is in a great location to everything you need. The mall, restaurants, stores, and downtown are all close by. It's a newly renovated complex so it's nice and whatever maintenance I need is done in a timely manner. I couldn't have asked for a better location on such short notice.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!

I'm not sure where to even start. The office could care less if you have a persistent issue, my A/C went out and they told me I had to wait overnight until the next day for a fix, you pay for waste removal $20 a month and I have taken my own trash out majority of my time here thus far as it never gets picked up and I have notified the office several times. Gates are always broken and rarely are fixed in a timely manner, the doors that have codes around the facility are taped so the lock doesn't even lock and anyone off the street can just walk right in. Water is never cold, garbage disposal does not work, sink is always filled with water they say that it's "fine", never had my air filter changed, they say they exterminate but do not even if you ask. They tell you just hours before they are going to shut off power versus at least a days notice for repairs and leave residents for hours on end (2 days for some residents recently) without power in which they just expect you to figure out what to do with pets and food items that are perishable. Do not live here if you want a pleasant renting experience with helpful staff! Will not be renewing my lease after it is up!

So Glad I Moved...

I recently moved from Uptown which was bittersweet for me because I absolutely loved living so close to downtown. Unfortunately rent there was astronomical. Luckily I found Everton at Bellmar a couple of months ago. Moving in was such a seamless process and the office staff has been so helpful every step of the way. I have a great spot near the gorgeous pool, access to the gym any time and they even have fun little events for residents every month, not to mention I'm saving about $300 a month. Definitely worth the visit.

Best Place I have lived ...

I have only lived in three apartments, so it isn't saying that much, but I really enjoy it here. I have lived here for 6 months and my only complaint is that my kitchen is pretty small compared to the overall size of the apartment. The grounds are very well maintained. The pool looks and feels amazing. The fitness center, while not amazing, is better than comparable apartments. Maintenance fixes even complicated issues within 48 hours. Everyone who works here is extremely friendly. The apartments are recently renovated. This is one of the few apartments I have found back when I was looking 8 months ago that actually feels like a good value for the money. - David W.

Love living at Everton

My husband and I moved into Everton at Bellmar a couple of months ago and have been so happy with our experience. It was all nicely renovated (love the aesthetics and the color/appliance choices). The management and maintenance has been helpful, timely and wonderful to work with. We love living there.

Nice Place to Live for sure!

I have been living here for a little over a year and literally cannot complain... which is odd because living in apartments you would expect to have multiple things that may dissatisfy you. I was talking to a co-worker and they were saying how fast their maintenance team where whenever they have a problem. And I took a moment to actually appreciate the fact that I literally have not had to request maintenance but maybe 2 times my whole tenure here. The outside and inside of the property is very warm and welcoming. Great pool area and awesome workout room with all new equipment. Front office staff are very nice and I love the different events they hold, like pool parties, raffles, breakfast in the office and so forth. Lastly, I really like how diverse our residents are. Come join us!

First Home experience

Everton is a beautiful and peaceful place for younger and older people, state of the arc weight room as well as a wonderful pool area to put the icing on the cake. The staff that they have here is first class never had a problem my 5months being here. I can say from truly if your looking for home Everton Is the best way to go.

Still Loving It

I've lived at Everton for and year and a half now and am still loving it. The maintenance crew is very responsive to any issues. Love the pool. Plus they love all dogs so my fur baby is right at home!

So far so good!

We lived here for about 6 months, and have nothing to complain about. Good management, great maintenance team, clean gym, nice pool, and beautiful apartments themselves. All in all, it's nice place to live, and I don't have anything to complain about so far. We definitely want to stay here for the next year.

Great property and management

The apartments are recently renovated, so the apartments have a new feel to them. The landscaping is well designed. Most people I bring are always commenting about how fancy it is, but I like to think it's all the work they put into the property. There is a gym, and because it's not a huge property, it isn't always crowded. There is a laundry site (if you choose to not rent out units or bring your own) which is easily accessible. I think the best part however is the management. It feels good to be able to go into the office any time and address any issue and have it fixed within 24 hours. I highly recommend checking out this property. You just might find yourself a good deal ! - Micael C:

Everton is the place to live!

my roommate and I moved in last year and cannot wait to spend a other year here! the gym and pool are gorgeous, the staff is extremely friendly, and the location is perfect. We're a 10 minute drive from uptown and the neighborhood is friendly and quiet. We have called maintenance and they came almost immediately. with all these amenities the rent is still reasonable. If you're planning on leasing here I promise you won't regret it!

I just moved in and I love it

These apartments are amazing!!! The application process was very easy and they did half off the admin fee and $375 off my first months rent. Also my heat went out just Monday morning and I called them to fix it and literally 7 minutes later, maintenance showed up and fixed it in 20 minutes and I've been warm ever since. I'm enjoying my stay here so far and I'm looking forward living here. Five stars for sure ????????????
