Conroe is located in Montgomery County just north of Houston. Since Interstate 45 travels through Conroe and leads into Houston’s business district, residents prefer living in this suburban neighborhood and commuting to work.
It’s no secret that the cost of living in Conroe is lower than Houston. The city is attractive to many renters because of the reasonable commute times, and it’s only a seven-mile drive to Lake Conroe, a popular outdoor recreational area.
There’s a lot going on in the city – you just have to know where to look. Locals enjoy exploring the Sam Houston National Forest, which covers 163,000 acres of land and is the perfect place for camping or a scenic hike. After a lovely dinner at Red Brick Tavern, locals look forward to a musical at the Crighton Theatre on North Main Street. The Heritage Museum of Montgomery County is a great place to go and learn about the city’s evolution through the decades – and it is right next to Candy Cane Park.

This apartment complex is absolutely stunning, with a luxurious and modern aesthetic. The staff at the leasing office were incredibly warm, kind, and patient throughout the process. As a mother of three, things were a bit overwhelming for me during the move, but I had the pleasure of meeting Kaylan, who was exceptionally sweet and understanding, both with me and my children. The environment is serene and seems to foster a great atmosphere for families. Additionally, the complex is zoned to excellent schools, which is a significant benefit for those of us with children. While I am just settling in and will keep my reviews updated as I experience more, my initial impression has been fantastic. For now, everything is terrific, and I absolutely love it here!

Actually put effort into fixing the gate that has been broken for 2 YEARS! In building two. Seriously, management has said over and over and over that it is being fixed, but they have not touched it at all. It’s a violation of safety and we have random people accessing our apartment constantly!

The apartment is nice, the management organizes a lot of events/food trucks/other services, and they have begun to redo most of the landscaping. Maintenance has been a stain on an otherwise very good experience.

Enclave Woodland Lakes made the renting process easy. I was able to choose add ons like a garage easily and see my total costs during the selection process. I was late checking in due to movers delay. Management and Julie were gracious to work things out for us. Anari toured us and called with important instructions to meet our move in deadline. As we had to be in apartment rather quickly. Maintenance was very responsive when needed. Because we rented a fairly clean unit, it was easy to return our short term rental just as clean. The Enclave team have been great! Move-in day on my end went a little longer than expected due to mover delay. Melissa, Julie and team went the extra mile to ensure I obtained keys by staying a little later after closing. The next day Anari checked in on us to ensure things went well and if we had any questions. She happily created a maintenance request and things were taken care of within a reasonable amount of time by capable maintenance personnel. Thankyou!

When we moved in, everyone we asked (our neighbors) complained non stop about management and their unit. I’ve never had unit issues and for the first 6 months couldn’t see any issues with the apartment. Personally my fiancé and I fell in love with the place. As time went on a lot of lackluster behavior started to show. Cleanliness in halls and elevators was the first sign. We thought well maybe the maintenance doesn’t see it. Then we realized why they don’t see it. Because they take a week to fix even a simple problem for them (water filter). So they must not be walking these halls and riding these elevators (only one as other has been broken since a month after we moved in) in order to see these issues.

The maintenance in Enclave is excellent. It puts your mind at rest No worries. Just report your issue and soon you will get them to care for you. I called them three time during the year we stayed there. Two times, the Fridge and A/C, considered emergencies, they responded immediately (minutes). The third was the dishwasher, the response came in 2days. They changed the whole machine immediately (in one visit). I can't ask for more. Mind you it is free! Omar T

First my refrigerator goes out, then this. Took forever for them to replace my nice refrigerator with a smaller wobbly refrigerator.. thanks Roger for personally seeing to it. Now my ac has been out since September 6th. I constantly have to put in maintenance requests.. just to have it temporarily resolved for a day or two, just to have it not working again for a week, the very next day.. me and my family are not happy after just renewing our lease (which was a nightmare to have done through their new system). I’ve lived here for almost 5 years and never had so many issues, other then the elevator constantly being out of order, ever since the new owner ship and management.. it’s been one problem after the next. They say it’s fixed, close out the maintenance request and then you end up with the same issue the very same week. I’ve spoken multiple times with management and just get gaslighted with “it will be fixed”. Or “I’ll personally see to it and deliver you a new one by the end of today.” The cost of rent here, and this is the “luxury” they fail to advertise.
My experience at Enclave in woodland lakes as a new move in, is poor due to apartment issues not being handled before my move in and how they were handled after move in. Work orders were not completed with in a timely manner and the miscommunication between Enclave staff with handling my issues.

I just recently moved into The Enclave at Woodland Lakes, and have been blown away by how nice and friendly everyone is here! From the front office staff to the maintenance staff, everyone is always there to help.

Just to start this off, my husband and I never leave reviews, but our experience here compels us to say something. My husband and I lived there for two years, and we can't, in good faith, recommend it to anyone. The elevators were constantly breaking, which led to a delayed move-out because the company we were renting our washer and dryer from couldn't come to retrieve the appliances because we lived on the fourth floor. The main issue was the continued canceled maintenance requests we made for mold spewing out of our bedroom vent. I cleaned it the best I could, but when it's coming from the air duct, there's not much a resident can do. We also had continued noise issues from various neighbors that led to our sleep being interrupted on a near-nightly basis. The lack of sleep, compounded with existing health issues, made it an incredibly difficult situation to live in. Our concerns were not taken seriously. We were just referred to the county cops, but as far as we could tell, no changes were made. A couple of pity emails were sent about the noise, but no impactful action was taken by staff as the noise never changed or stopped long-term. The door to our bedroom never shut completely because of the way the door was framed in the building. Overall, the experience was not worth the high cost of rent.

This is a beautiful community, I actually just resigned my lease for a third year. They have a wonderful staff that is willing to help with any needs you may have to make you feel right at home. Big thanks to David and his staff for all their hard work to make this place beautiful community.

Been here over 1.5 years and would not recommend living here. Just since I have been here several automobile vandalism incidents (theft of Catalytic Converters and most recently a string of wheels and rims stolen). Very unsettling to say the least! No security and no surveillance cameras on the property! We are leaving very soon and have seen this property go in the wrong direction with quality of living and security.

The manager is not good. The rest of the staff is very good and the facility is great. The noise in the apartments along Old Egypt Road is very loud.

The management is horrible the apartments look great but once inside it’s a nightmare. There’s roaches mice ,ants , infested everywhere do not move here

Management team is fantastic; attentive, considerate and willing to help at all times of the day! Amazing finishes and great attention to detail - love the 12ft ceilings and quartz counter tops. Having a rather large dog I am always sensitive around pet 'rules' - VERY friendly pet policies, great green areas and dog parks! (wish they had a yard available when I leased :( ). I have lived at cheaper communities and I would NEVER SACRIFICE AGAIN!!

I have lived here for a year since they opened and I have to say, by far the BEST place I have lived in a long time. The property was built way better than most around here and is super quiet. My neighbors are awesome and they do really cool events to bring people closer. You have to check it out for yourself. The ladies in the office are so happy all the time and super excited to even be there. Check them out yourself!!! You won’t be disappointed...
