Many improvements needed: - gym hours keep changing without our knowledge, which has been affecting residents routines and schedules. - several emergency exit doors remain rusty, do not close properly, and are hazardous to our safety. - several entrances via garage and street remain unlocked. Presenting danger to residents and welcoming in strangers. - heat in corridors keeps on coming and going, with frigid temperatures throughout the winter - windows are poorly insulated - elevators keep breaking down weekly - snow piled up everywhere during winter storms, allowing limited access to garage for residents and off street parking for guests. - common areas keep getting destroyed during reckless resident parties in the lounge (no accountability or fix): pool table, couch, other tables - trash room is often overflowing with trash: trash shoot is often blocked, and the only recycling bin is consistently full.

Ever since I came here, 2 months ago, one of the elevators is broken, the other one is down at least once a week and mainly during the weekends. No one says nothing and no one even tries to fix the broken elevator

apartment is nice but the walls are very thin. I can hear neighbors on both sides especially music with loud bass projects through my apartment. I can also hear the residents above me walking around and dropping things on the floor. Amazon package delivery could be a little more organized and the maintenance is a little slow to respond. One other annoying thing is that the gate to the garage is always broken(stays up) so anyone could drive in (angers me because they charge $100 a month for parking) . Being nit picky because this is an expensive apartment that practically charges you a mortgage to live here so the bar is and should be high. Other than that the proximity to the beach makes up for a lot of it.

If you’re planning to move in, reconsider your decision. This place has been a total letdown. We moved in, and there was no AC for months, despite promises to fix it. Our stuff got soaked, and the maintenance team couldn't get their act together. Then, our fridge crapped out, and it took them five days to do something about it. I lost over $800 in groceries, and all they offered was a lousy $200 gift card. Talk about adding insult to injury! Their pet policy is just ridiculous. They say you can have a dog, but if it barks a little, you get a lecture about hiring a babysitter. I've got a camera that shows my dog's an angel, but they don't care. As if things couldn't get worse, someone tried to break into our apartment, and we haven't heard a peep from the office about it. It's like they don't care about our safety or bothering to keep us in the loop. This whole experience has been a total nightmare. We thought paying more for a fancier place would be worth it, but it's been a joke. AC problems, busted fridge, and pet policy nonsense make this the priciest and crappiest spot we've ever lived in. Total disappointment.

I have submit more that 5 request within a week to fix an issue with the smoke/fire alarm. They have completed the request without fixing the issue. Adding to that the elevator broke during the weekend twice. It breaks at least once a week. They send you emails letting you know you have a balance when you pay the rent before the due date and have credit on your account.

Fire pits shown in advertisements have NEVER WORKED since we have been here (August 2022) We were told it was being fixed in 2 weeks!! 6 Months later, we overheard them telling other people they were showing the building to the same thing.

The Eliot on Ocean is amazing. The staff is not only extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful but as well as always available for its residents! It is very evident that they truly care about its residents and their home. 14/10 would always recommend the Eliot. Also the views and community is absolutely beautiful. Also conveniently located only a few minutes walk from the T which is awesome for getting around to the other parts of Boston quickly and easily.

Great place to live at! Super laid back, serene, and clean. There are no problems with bugs here. Right across the beach, and fun. Sometimes they host parties and events where we can mingle with other tenants. I highly recommend!

Great place! On the ocean, close to many amenities. The staff is amazing, very approachable! Plus, one of the best priced locations in the area!

The building is beautiful to the eye, ugly to the bones. Mistakes or lack of quality have created problems with the infrastructure, causing damage in units. Long-term solutions may not be attainable.

If ever there has been an issue, and there have been very few, management was contacted and problem was always rectified immediately. Management has ALWAYS been very helpful.

11months resident of The Eliot On Ocean, this has been a very comfortable home and living community for me and my family. My wife and I agreed if these units are up for sale we would invest in it to keep our space and continue in the comfort and safety of the community. Staff is wonderful, distant but yet available and ready to jump in and help.

The Eliot on Ocean is a beautiful apt complex. The grounds and apts are kept kept beautiful . I have been living here for over 7 yrs and can attest to the outstanding staff Meghan and Gabriel mangers and Jeffrey and Gordon maintenance They are all professional always helpful and a true asset to The Eliot on Ocean . I would highly recommend living here Just a beautiful building and atmosphere !
Best Team of people you could hope for in the Leasing Office, Maintenance Team, and anyone else you come across - they're on top of things, despite their small Team, and are always prompt and willing to help. Property is well kept, great location, and great communication about any and all maintenance, repairs, events, community announcements, etc. Awesome!

The Eliot has quickly become my home. Management and maintenance staff are always friendly and available for questions. Recent additions of free yoga classes and daily events are encouraging.
