I’ve lived here a total of 5 years and the staff here is amazing! Tia at the front desk has been so helpful with everything. No task is too small or outside the box for her to help. The maintenance team is second to none! Their prompt. They fix what’s needed and are extremely friendly. Everyone is top tier! I can’t forget about Rasheed in the office, he is always amazing. First started to move in yesterday. I immediately noticed that one side of the couch was very dirty and the inside of the bed frame’s corners had tons of dust and hair. I have purchased a steam cleaner and will have to spend today cleaning everything. Just my minor gripes, but the move-in was smooth and the staff were helpful (other than the freight elevator being out of order until further notice).

I wanted to bring up a concern about noise levels and certain issues on Friday nights. Lately, there has been a strong smell of marijuana in the building, and quiet hours are not being respected. Residents are often yelling and making noise until 1–2 AM, which makes it difficult to sleep. I would really appreciate it if management could enforce quiet hours more strictly or address these concerns more effectively. It would make a huge difference in maintaining a comfortable living environment for everyone. I’ve really enjoyed the events you organize for holidays like Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day—they’re always fun and a great way to bring the community together! Great location, great amenity, value for money. Only nuisance that one could run into is the elevators which are occasionally down or slow. Everything else is great. Recommend if you are single and looking for a decent studio like myself.

The view is great, but do be mindful about the devices and floors when you move in, there are flaws and need to be addressed. The pool is fine, amenity is fine, wifi speed is fine.

I feel really good about my apartment. The safety measures are top-notch, making me feel secure at all times. The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby shops and restaurants. Friendly and helpful community, quiet and respectful too! Really happy to be calling this place my home for the foreseeable future. Am glad that I went with this apartment instead of others in the loop.
Moving into Eleven40 and living there for a few weeks has been very smooth. First of all the building is beautiful and feels new. The views from most of the apartments and from the rooftop amenity area are amazing. The finishes in the apartments are modern and well kept. Staff is friendly and helpful, move in is a breeze and is easy to coordinate. Parking garage in the building is easy to get setup in and works smoothly. Location is great, with Trader Joes and Jewel within a block, Red, Green and Orange line on the same block and easy access to Lake Shore Drive and 90/94. Tons of restaurants on the same block and within a few blocks. On the less positive side, being so close to Public transit brings lots of homeless people. The rotating entry door seems to be permanently not working. Small inconveniences for me but might mean more to others.
Great so far! No complaint Everyone is nice! Would recommand THe common area are fun and well equipped. THe community is very welcolming!!!
I just moved in. The shared common space is very nice, and the front desk staff are super helpful. The windows are good with blocking noise from the street (although if you live on a lower level like i do the subway can still be kinda loud); the doors and the floor/ceiling unfortunately are not very good I can hear people above me dropping things clearly. ..
It was great! A very smooth transition & it’s so convenient living here. Pretty much everything you need is walking distance here in the community.

The neighborhood is great! It is super close Trader Joe’s and that made my grocery very convenient. Also, it is close to cta and that makes my transportation easier
This is a really nice property to live in. The ammenities are top notch. All areas are cleaned with close attention to detail. The pool/hot spa are amazing. The outdoor fire places are like having your own little relaxing spot. Over all a great place to live.
5/5 service, amenities, and staff for anybody wondering. It’s high price luxury living at a fraction of the cost. The location is ideal, next to every grocery store you want, the museum campus, and the Roosevelt station

So far I am absolutely in love with my new home. The building is smartly organized, clean and chic. The only suggestion I have maybe the locker room. Big items are usually placed in the locker room and there are tons of other ppls package. I lost track of my package often.

Love it here so far. Leasing staff, including Rasheed and Darko, are very professional, personable, and accommodating of each renter’s unique timeline. Move in process was the smoothest out of any apartment I’ve been to so far. The actual apartment itself? Absolutely incredible. Spacious, gorgeous floor to ceiling windows, amenities to die for (one of the largest gyms among similar apartments, rooftop pool and hot tub, and quiet conference rooms and comfy booths perfect for WFH and studying). The neighborhood is super convenient, with abundant shops and restaurants and groceries nearby. Super close to the Lake. And the view is insane.

It has been a wonderful experience living at Eleven40. I can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff, the property management and front desk service, the security of the complex and maintenance staff is exceptional and responsive. Location is fantastic and can walk just about anywhere to get what you need and enjoy! If you prefer public transportation it's a few steps away. Love there is attached parking and monthly parking access for residents to enter right into the building and elevators to your floor. Fitness center has everything you need for a full body workout, rooftop pool/hottub, coffee station and love the pet run/spa for my pup. Great place to live, work from home and enjoy city life!

The apartment was clean, spacious, and had all the necessary amenities to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to public transportation and a variety of shops and restaurants nearby.

I’ve enjoyed my time at Eleven40. While my unit is a little small for the price, it’s purposefully designed and there’s ample amenity space if I am ever feeling cramped. My favorite parts of living here are the friendly and helpful staff, awesome amenities and amazing views. The front desk team is always incredibly helpful. Special shout-out to Vita and LaTonya. Quinton and Rasheed in the office are always prompt with responses and are super helpful. The location can’t be beat either!

I would like to give the highest ever possible rating to my new 1140 South Wabash apartment. When I moved in, even at 6am, I was greeted very warmly by the front desk staff, who got me a wagon and also helped in ways with the process. The interior aesthetics are also very pleasing and the lobby and halls felt very spacious. It was like a breath of fresh air from the very start. When I got the keys to my room and saw it, I became even happier. Thanks to all the staff who made it possible for me to walk into a clean, gorgeous room when I arrived!! Love making this my new home ????

Eleven40 is a great place to live in the South Loop! Minutes from the lakefront, Grant Park, museums and the aquarium. I have a dog and he loves visiting Grant Bark Park and taking walks around the many beautiful landscaped gardens and green spaces. There is no shortage of restaurants nearby or access to grocery stores like Trader Joe's directly across the street or Jewel Osco on the corner a few hundred feet from the front door. I walk to work but if necessary public transportation is a few steps away. The cleanliness of the complex is impeccable, friendly staff, responsive management accessible in the building and great amenities too! Full fitness center, game room, rooftop pool, office center and lots of common spaces makes Eleven40 a winner!
