In addition, the affordable rent is a great reason to move here.

Property Ratings at Echo Pond Luxury Apartments
They raise the rents hundreds of dollars each year. They justify by market value but it never goes down when the market slows. They also charge almost a dollar each month for using their "green" rental payment system. My sprinkler hoses have been exposed in my front yard for months. I've had a dead tree in my front yard for 3 years. This was a gated community when I moved in and they took down the gate about 8 months ago and have no plans to replace it. I would not rent at Echo Pond if you can find another suitable home. There are security concerns with no gate, no privacy fence, and tenants not living in Echo Pond walking through to jump a fence to get to 7-11. Also, it is quite loud off Sunrise Highway. I would not call it luxury living. All the amenities mentioned on their website are about a 5-10 minute drive away. There are no amenities on site. The outlying roads are unsafe for bicycling or walking so my children cannot get to the amenities safely without a driver.
Front area and all areas except front entrance haven't been mulched in 3 years I've lived here. I have sprinkler system hoses 2 inches above mulch. Looks terrible. If you lose a 3 dollar rubber swimming pool band the replacement fee is 100 dollars. Some strange practices here.
