Property Ratings at EastGate Apartments
Don’t expect any answers back from management. You can send emails and never get responses after weeks. You never see anyone in the office as the blinds are always closed tight and the lights are never on. They claim to be handicap accessible, yet not a single door is handicap operated. They will raise your rent $200-$600 with no notice, and not a single amenity added, yet claim to be income restricted. Don’t expect your security deposit back, and don’t expect an answer back from management on what they charged you for. The only good thing I can say about this place is the maintance man, Pete. He actually cares about his job and wants to make the residents feel heard.

I am so close to shops and schools. I had never been to Rochester or East Gate. I was very happy working with the rental office and my move in was very easy.

STAY AWAY! Cigarette and marijuana smoke in hallways and common areas, trash all over the complex, constant noise of sirens and music and arguments, maintenance requests never addressed (my stove went unrepaired for 9 months), and staff is unresponsive. I moved out months ago and still waiting on my deposit refund, but staff won't respond to calls or emails. Do NOT rent here.
