Property Ratings at Desert Mirage
We just moved here after leaving a previous location where we were paying much higher rent. That place had promised a lot, but once new management took over, they removed many community activities and started charging extra for random things. There was no real sense of community, no open space, and we felt we were overpaying for amenities and the location. In contrast, Desert Mirage has been a breath of fresh air—it offers a welcoming community atmosphere that we didn’t realize we were missing. It truly feels like a great place to live.
Good maintenance people are wonderful. Whenever we have a problem, they come the same day or the next day. We would live here almost 7 years and don’t really have any complaints honestly
Price is high, too many add on charges, that are not needed. It would be fair it the resident are given the options to select . Also some appliances should replaced, especially if making loud sounds or causing orders.
The community is very clean & neighbors very friendly. There is a great atmosphere created through events hosted by desert mirage. This is a great community to live in & a great area as well.
I have been living here since March, and my experience has been great so far! The maintenance team is responsive, the property is well-kept, and the community events have been fantastic. Plus, it's situated in a wonderful neighborhood in Gilbert, AZ.
Love this place! I like the assigned parking, makes it nicer to not have to think about where I'm going to be parking. Winco and Costco are not even 5 minutes away, along with multiple coffee places and multiple Walmarts, 15 minutes from a few malls and tons of restaurants. The gym here is always clean and super easy to workout in. The staff is super friendly and feels like they care about each person individually. No complaints about the neighbors either. Really do love this place
Being new to apartment living I wasn't sure what to expect: DM Management & Crew have definitely squashed any preconceived concerns I might have had. Maintenance repairs are handled promptly,the grounds and public areas are meticulously maintained and regularly upgraded. I especially enjoy the clubhouse with 24/7 access. Community Activities are regularly planned, providing an opportunity to 'meet your neighbors'. Apartment living at Desert Mirage is a great place to come home to!
Everything is always done efficiently and staff is very friendly! Grounds are clean and have new pool chairs. BBQ's are cleaned frequently and parking lot is well maintained.

The location is convenient, with nearby everything you could ever need. The apartment itself is spacious with lots of natural light. Overall, my resident experience has been positive, and I feel fortunate to call this place home.
The atmosphere of the apartment is wonderful.Working for Avenue 5 is amazing.The overall experietheory is actually very exhilarating.I'm happy to be here
I have loved living at Desert Mirage. They have been attentive if there are any issues. The only downside at times can be noisey neighbors, but that occurs at all apartments.
We just moved into a new place and I really wish that housekeeping had made sure we were moving into nice clean apartment. Air vents are dusty, floors were dirty, sliding glass has weird yellow stains, window ceils are nasty and carpets were definitely not cleaned. You can also tell the maintenence did not do thorough walk through. Electrical plugs are not working, a drawer in the fridge is broken and the lock to outside storage unit lock did not work. Other than that the rest of the place was in decent shape. Just wish this place would pay more attention to detail.
Front very nice and helped answer all my questions. Complex is very large and apartments are spacious. Loving everything so far. Close to everything and they have many amenities and fun things going on in the complex.
We love living here! This place feels like home. It’s well taken care of, maintenance is speedy when responding to requests, the manager, Kim, is great, and the amenities are great. Our only complaint would be the limited parking spots especially on the weekends.
Nice place, fast response for any issues on the apartment, front desk ladies are very helpful , location is fantastic, overall very happy about my stay, and specially about the Staff, Fantastic.
This complex excels in being a safe and comfortable place to live!. The grounds are well maintained, any repairs needed are promptly handled and the office staff is always available to provide assistance.The grounds are well maintained and I appreciate the mature landscaping. I recently started using the gym and enjoy it being available 24/7~stopping afterwards in the beautifully appointed lobby/kitchenette for a cup of FREE coverage or cocoa. It is safe environment (appreciate the locking gates at night) and thanks to the gated entrance, I've never been afraid walking from my parked car late at night.
It’s been a pleasure to live here!! I love it and the staff is very friendly and helpful!! Work orders are done really fast and the property is very nice and clean, this is a very quiet place to live, I really recommend this place to live in.

I’m very happy here. Management is very helpful and responsive. The grounds are well kept, Richard in maintenance is the best at responding to requests. He’s professional and personable. Kim, the property manager, and her staff are also professional and personable and respond to any issues quickly. I enjoy the food trucks and events. Love my apartment. My only issue is the extra charges for things I have to pay for that were included when this complex was built and I didn’t have to pay extra for, but I don’t use: dog park, pool, bbq grills and a long list of other fees.
Great apartments! The grounds are clean, the neighbors are polite, maintenance is top notch! Rent prices are great here and the amenities are really nice.
Have I told you lately how much we love living at Desert Mirage? The management and maintenance staff are friendly and hard working. The property is well kept. I love that landscaping is well maintained since that is one of the things that attracted us to Desert Mirage.
In the past year or so since we have had a new property manager here, things have improved 100 fold from how this property looked a couple years ago. There is a new landscaping company taking care of all aspects of landscape maintenance, that do an awesome job keeping the grounds looking beautiful
The apartment complex is very clean. The landscaping is always done, grass is always mowed and the maintenance staff responds very quickly. I highly recommend this place.
A new company bought out the apartments a little less than half a year ago. Ever since the apartments have been complete trash. They add extra fees to your bill every month after the first. I've lived here for 3 years and the whole time I've been here the maintenance crew has been terrible. So a lot of things are falling apart because they have never been taken care of and neglected. There are tons of scorpions termites and cockroaches. If I were you I would find somewhere else.
Lived here for a year and a half now. There have been many changes. The signs outside are lit up now! Events are happening regularly, there is a full coffee bar in the clubhouse so I save money instead of going to a Coffee house.

I absolutely love it here at Desert Mirage! The staff is amazing and I have seen amazing improvement with the newer staff onsite! They put together fun events like a Luau at the pool, a flick and float, brunch, food trucks several times a month, and so much more! The maintenance staff does an amazing job with the pools and the grounds, they have been on top of the work order response since Tim was promoted to Supervisor! Desert Mirage has been helpful when pressed with issues. However, I would argue that a lot of these issues should have been solved by management before moving in. Rather dissatisfied with moving into a new apartment and needing to submit at least 8 separate maintenance requests and having a dirty apartment. Vacuuming and wiping down countertops is not sufficient for move-in.

I have lived here for almost 2 years now and overall I am more than happy. The grounds are fairly clean and trees and plants are everywhere which I like. I feel safe here and appreciate the events the office holds for residents. Food trucks are probably my favorite at the moment!

Overall have had an amazing experience, I havent lived here for long but the application process was very professional and they worked with me and helped me move in fast ! The apartment was exactly like the picture and any issues or concerns weve had , had been responded to INSTANTLY. Everyone who works here stays very professional and overall caring and understanding. The property is very well taken care of , personally havent had any issues with property. The parking is insane! But I understand theres not really anything to be done about that and thats the case with most apartments anyways.

Great place to live and tge location is stellar too. The eminities are great andeasli accessible for residents. The constant helicopter sounds at night arebalarming sometimes but overall a great community.

We have loved our experience at Desert Mirage and would have renewed for our 5th year. However, due to changes at the complex without notice and loss of privacy, we have chosen to move.
