I and a friend of mine came there looking for an apartment. We were told they were waiving the application and admin fees. So the lady there applied for our application. We decided not to move in, however they sent receipts for application and admin fee. We tried to call the manager with the concern, but he was very rude and hung up the phone by saying we have to pay it. Very misleading, becareful with this apartment. Also, its right by the highway, so its very noisy because pf moving vehicles.

Initially promised no application or admin fees, but ended up being charged when I decide not to move in. Deceptive practice and lack of transparency. Beware of misleading assurances regarding fees. Even the manager turned to be very rude after I called to express the concern. He was bitter when he couldn't get the business. Disappointing experience!

Apartment had many issue upon move in that I was assured would be fixed, but the leasing office lies. Maintenance is incompetent and refuses to fix anything that they have to spend more than $20 on. Many units have been without A/C all summer with heat index rising to 115 some days. I was without A/C for 3 weeks until I called code enforcement which scared them into fixing it. Moldy walls and ceilings, door was broken and would not close for weeks until my family member threatened to file a lawsuit and they re-sealed it to where it would close but door was still deteriorating. The property itself is a complete eye-sore, pictures are edited or were taken a long time ago. Website claims to have a fitness center but there is no fitness center. The females in the leasing office are never on the same page and cannot keep there lies straight. Luckily was able to find somewhere else to rent and broke lease

They have these "vendors" that are allowed to come and look at all units at their leisure. No appointments. No time frame. No reasoning. No letter of entry. You're just supposed to accept that these random people come into your apartment without your consent. They come in at least once a month, or they tell you to have your door open for 3 days straight so they can come look at god knows what. This complex was taken over by 3 different companies while I lived there. Which is where the vendors came from. The current staffing is by far the worst.

Went to tour these apartments, staff was friendly, very welcoming, they let me tour a unit the unit was amazing, provided me with all the information I would need if interested in leasing. Would highly recommend to anyone.
I toured the property looking for a 3x2. They provided me with all the information i needed for one of their sister properties. I was shown the model, the front desk was very helpful, everyone was very welcoming. Would highly recommend.
When I wa allowing for somewhere to move quick this was this was the only place that gave me a chance. Stephanine the manager was so nice and patient. She was very thorough every step of the way and made my moving experience a great one. I would recommend her to anyone looking to move soon ask for Stephanie she definitely goes above and beyond for her tenants
Run away from this complex as fast as you can. Stay away from any complex run by GREYSTAR. Unsafe dump. All of the negative reviews are factual. Indigents go through dumpsters every night and their the least scariest individuals by far around here. Betty is wonderful! Horrible unprofessionalism from other Management. Problems are not ever fixed properly (ex. a/c out all summer) black mold just painted over, water leaks, broken locks and dangerous electrical issues just to name a few problems. Living here is costing me an exorbitant amount of money due to the lack of efficiency. Maintenance man aka landscaper, ac tech., plumber, handyman, painter, pool man, is a great person (I know this because I need him often). However, sometimes it takes days just to get the managers to send him and that’s for what they consider to be an emergency. I love how they give a phone number in reply to complaints on this board to resolve your concerns. I call that number as well as visit the office and to date I’m still waiting for a resolution. Just check public records for criminal searches and for 911 calls placed. Best of luck in your future endeavors.
Moving here was great at first seemed like the perfect place for me and my cousin to get our own place. Within a few weeks there were multiple nights of gun fire and police and not the cleanest. I also had a family emergency and had to move early so I asked them what I needed to do they said “if you can’t pay now then we will contact the owners and you can make payments without it going against you” I filled out the breaking lease form in October it’s now January and still no call or anything when I call them they won’t even give me the owners number or email. And the ladies in the office aren’t helpful at all!

I am not a person to complain or write reviews; this place is not so bad other than the face the tow your vehicles for any reason, which the office gets commission for. Spiders and insects are included in the apartments.. With a fee for pest control service that you never acquire. Trust me do not move here!

I have lived here for nearly two years now and cannot wait to leave once my lease is up (08/2017). The A/C is the worst I've ever experienced anywhere I've lived. It appears as if our (residents) service requests are the least of the apartment staffs concerns and after multiple A/C service requests my A/C system is still not fixed. If I could do it all over again, I would not have moved here. Hopefully my A/C gets fixed soon, because paying rent on this place and not having A/C is absolutely ridiculous. The rent is incredibly high for the quality of apartment you receive as well. I would look elsewhere for an apartment if I was looking to move. - UTA Student

I am a 22 year old, recently graduated, college student from UT Arlington. I have lived at many different apartments in the Arlington area ranging from very luxurious and expensive to practical and affordable. In my two years living here, Westwood Canyon has proven to be far superior from any experience I've ever had for several reasons. 1.) They are very affordable AND of good quality. 2.) The management of the community complex is service oriented with a clear goal- To go above and beyond to make their residents happy, safe, and included. 3.) The maintenance lead, Tony, and his team are quick to act and very thorough when ANY repairs or replacements need to be made, not just in emergency situations. 4.) The ease of access to all services with quick communication from staff is top notch. 5.) The people here are great and I've never felt unsafe. I highly recommend Westwood Canyon.
I have been living here for 2 yrs, welk I can say as for the area its in, I like its close to my daughters school, and close to shopping. The area is great, as far as managment they mean well but they are under staffed with maintence...they simply take too long to come out and fix things.. the management work with you, and are always kind a polite. Although they do need to upgrade there appliances, lighting fixtures. And the rent keeps going up a significant amount each year that I been here and its actually not worth it to stay...I plan to move as soon as my daughter graduates this year, I perfer to rent a house and pay for a house than these apartmemts
