Whitney at The Heights

The grounds continue to stay green, but there is little care to keep them watered or thriving. Dead shrubs stay dead. Burnt out patches stay barren. The work crews are regular, as they cut and blow things; but that is all that we see. (And they blow debris on our porch, but do not clear debris from the covered walkway by our front door.) The drainpipe near out apartment that collapsed last year was never replaced. The repair staff is prompt and helpful, as are the folks at the office. The website is hard to navigate. The recent email on Memorial Day trash pickup had a PDF that was impossible to open, but the attempt at communication was welcome. We are comfortable but a little worried that things are not being tended to.

Reasonable price. Great location. The gym smells strongly of air freshener, but it has great equipment. I think many of the AC units need updating, but other than that, it's a great apartment complex. The dog poop problem seems to have improved, as long as we stay on top of it, it won't get out of hand.

The only thing is the apartment complex seems old—with that comes a lot of maintenance requests and mild. Thankfully maintenance has always been lovely.

Love this community! I have enjoyed my 3 years here. The area is great, so much to do close by. You are also close to all of the Houston hot spots!

So far, everything has been great. There is a great dog park, pool, and gym. The complex is safe and quiet, and close to things to do in the Heights. There is an additional garage to rent at the complex for more space and covered parking.

I enjoy the community here at the Whitney. I love the surrounding restaurants which offers a diversity of food. I do not mind the distance from downtown. I appreciate the quick response to maintenance issues.

Quiet place in a great location. The trail is opposite and restaurants are a walkable distance from the complex. There still is an issue with dog poop being left on the grass, particularly on the path by the swimming pool.

Quiet complex, updated apartments (albeit with old apartment problems), quick responses to work orders. I've had some minor issues, but overall, a good place to live and one that I would recommend to friends.

Pleasant experience so far as this apartment complex. Could use more accountability on residents to pick up after their pets. Good prevention with security guard rounding at night/early mornings. Problems with entrance/exit gates at times malfunctioning or left open. Landscape maintained well with professional services. Complex management has been very transparent and diligent with resolving issued due to past major storms that caused serious problems throughout the complex.

The neighbors (residents) and the local crew are very nice people. The management decisions have lessened the pleasant experience during the last year. After good response to the bad weather - replacing the fencing and getting rid of the downed trees - things have returned to a path of not fixing things or not maintaining aspects of the grounds. The grass has been let go. It gets cut, but it is no longer grass. It gets blown around and trimmed. But it is just short green weeds. Bushes that died from lack of water sit there dead. The watering of the grounds used to be too enthusiastic - the watering continued even in the rain, but now there is no watering. iA down spout that fell down months ago was never replaced. The parking lot gate is broken and unfixed for weeks at a time. We love our apartment, but we wish whoever is making the decisions cared more.

I have been at this complex for almost 3 years now. I think the price is great for the area! I love how close I am to everything! Having the walking trail on the Bayou is also one of my favorite features!

overall great experience at the complex. Big dog park and space to let your pet run. The complex is quiet and friendly people living there.

Everyone is so nice and willing to help! I love how the gates are closed unless opened by a resident. Great price for a peaceful place to live. Also love all the state troopers right outside my window! It just makes it that more safe!

So far living here has been nice. Whenever there is a maintenance issue, they respond quickly and do a great job with repairs. The pool and gym area vary at times with availability due to renovations I believe. Overall, this is not a bad place to live!

I moved here from out of state and loved my experience. The staff are very friendly, they were very fair during my move out, and super fair during my move in. It’s close to a ton of restaurants and right along a walking trail. The newer units have updated appliances, and the floor plans are very roomy. I loved living here and can’t recommend it enough.

These apartments are one of the best complexes in area. I only had minor inconveniences but they were resolved quickly. They dont let issues run for too long.

The facilities are always very clean. It has a community feel, and pretty quiet. The apartment has a nice layout giving a sense of a bigger place.

Nice and safe place , never had a problem , I would highly recommend this apartment .the customer service is very good and when I had a water heater problem it was solve within that day or within few hours , they acted quickly

I have enjoyed my time at this complex! It is in a great area! I love having the bayou trail right across the road as well as being close to so many great restaurants and things to do! I feel safe where I live and that is so important to me!

so far, I have had a great experience at the Whitney. The staff is friendly and quick. Nice, big dog park and many dog-friendly neighbors. The price for lockers and trash seems a lot to include in monthly fees. The pool and gym add extra amenities to the property. Quiet and safe complex overall would recommend to family and friends.

So far I have been here for five days and everything is going great. The move in was as easy as can be hoped for and everyone I have met is really nice.

This is a wonderful complex situated perfectly in the Heights. The property is clean and well maintained; and the residents seem to all be a respectful and mature crowd. One of the best things about this complex is definitely the manager Karla. She is extremely professional and proactive in maintaining the complex and resolves any issues that arise very quickly!

I have now lived here for several years, and I've been very happy.

Half of my emails to leasing office are unanswered and half phone calls go to voice mail. Property has deteriorated over past few days.

This is a very good quality apartment complex. The physical quality of the apartments, the grounds, and the maintenance staff is pretty high. The only downside is the price, but you get what you pay for as they say.

The crossing at White oak is a pretty nice place to live. It is for the most part very quiet, and walking along the path inside and out of the complex is very pleasant. I believe the quality of her and buildings and amenities are worth the rents for the most part.

I've lived here for over 6 years. A small, mostly quiet apartment community. The appliances, flooring and bathroom fixtures are outdated. Maintenance is very responsive and I appreciate that.

Absolutely pleased with the whole team at the Crossing at White Oak. Since day one they have done a great job at keeping residents happy and the complex looking beautiful.

Affordable rental rates in a great location with easy access to freeways and walking/biking trails. Community could use updated club house/gym to keep up with competitors amenities in the local apartment market.
