The apartment itself is fine. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. The dog park could use an update fence. Having a second dog park would be beneficial.
Not great. Pro's: They installed washer / drier on time for my move in & the location seems to be relatively quiet and peaceful. Con's: Once you sign your lease, you are on your own. Emails dont get replied to & maintenance is honestly really bad. Two example's: One, I noticed the bathroom in the master had a broken toilet handle, would not flush. I reported it, as a "emergency" like your supposed to. 6 days later after nobody came or contacted me, I just bought parts and fixed it myself. Two, I got locked out due to my own stupidity of leaving a clicker in my car rental. Again, calling the emergency automated line, for 3.5 hours I waited outside the house, leaving several messages. Eventually giving up, and going to a hotel. Returned next morning, leasing office arranged maintenance (they smashed the window) and though they should they would return to board it up, they never did. New to US, no contacts here, so depended on them to help, that was a mistake.

Maintenance has been here 3 times and I still have blinds that I cannot open and close. They apparently come in and get them to close, but the very next time I raise it, the same thing happens. I don’t think adequately working blinds is is an extreme request for where I live.

We love our apartment, but we have not been impressed with the level of service from the management team. The work orders we have put in, which unfortunately have been many, take 2-4 weeks for them to fix, and that is after significant pestering, both online and in person. Even when things are addressed, such as pest control, it’s not addressed in the room we requested, which does not help the situation. Love the location and layout of the apartment, but extremely unhappy with the management and repairs.

Community of Bent Tree has been making major improvements since I been here. It’s a really peaceful place to live. When I go into the office they always have snacks and drinks for all. The staff welcomes you as soon as your enter the door.

Have lived here going on four years. Love the environment. I am close to my job; can walk. Parks are nearby. Bus transit and soon to be train transit close. The Galleria Mall is within minutes; plenty of good restaurants in the area. Most importantly, I feel safe and the Management is extremely helpful and understanding.

I've had a fantastic experience as a resident here. The community is clean, quiet, and well-maintained. The bent tree community is a great place to stay everyone is very nice. The grounds are clean. If something needs to be fixed it's done in a timely manner.
Onboarding experience was great and the community, even though old, is well maintained. It has modern facilities and the environment is serene while the location is awesome. However, responsiveness from staff needs to improve. Maybe they are fewer than the demand the large community places on them. Overall, it is a 90% for me.
good layouts, decent pricing, but that’s where my good things end. Roaches coming through the walls, dishwasher doesn’t work, yall don’t replace dog poop bags unless I put in a request for it, TERRIBLE communication. They’ll send things out without proofreading or with no notice. Surprise! You have 2 days to move everything off your patio and keep it inside for painting for a week. We started parking lot repaving 2 days ago but today at 10 AM we’re sending a notice that your car needed to be moved an hour ago or we’ll tow it. From where? You wouldn’t know, they didn’t include a map or even try to describe from where aside from ‘Phase 3’. I could go on. It’s like yall don’t want anyone to live here and no wonder I keep seeing people move out. This place is a joke and you couldn’t pay be $1K to refer a friend to live here.
I like the community and I know there is new management, but I cannot give 5 stars until the office can get garbage service on a more often. The piling up of garbage, even in the garbage can, is an eye sore. Thank you!!

Our time here has been okay the past 3 years. Some safety concerns and people acting wild at 3am. Things have been a lot better since new management took over. However, it was too late for us and we chose not to renew our lease. We also pay a lot for an apartment that isn’t very nice. Interior needs an update!

We love the location and layout of our new apartment, but there have been some issues since we moved in. Our oven didn’t work, and it took almost a week for them to get it turned on. Apparently they just had to plug it in. Our fridge light doesn’t work, and one of the fridge drawers is broken. We were also promised a washer and dryer in unit, and 10 days after moving in, we still haven’t received it. Our back door also leaks when it rains. We’ve been pretty disappointed with the number of things that should have been fixed before we moved in, but weren’t. Hoping that once they are fixed, it will be great.

Overall it has been very quiet and the staff was very friendly and helpful with answering all of our questions prior to moving in. Although there are signs everywhere for pet owners to clean up after their pets not many of them do.

We have rouches in our apartment we called them to spray they don’t show up - I called them to come fix the leak in the kitchen sink it took them a week . Poor maintenance and there’s this lady who is very very rude who works in the reception. She doesn’t know how to talk to people.

I have lived at Communities of Bent Tree going into my 4th year. I love the area with parks, restaurants and shopping (Galleria Mall) nearby. My apartment overlooks the pool with beautiful greenery surroundings. I love nature. I can walk to work and most importantly I have always felt safe. Have lived in Bent Tree Fountains for 7 years. The staff are friendly and helpful. Maintenance requests get taken care of quickly. It is a fairly quiet community. The grounds are kept well. The value is better than some. They have community events.

The new management’s communication style leaves a lot to be desired. We have not been adequately informed of construction happening on the side walks or the parking lot. The parking registration has been a fiasco, when feedback was provided, in person, I was told a follow up email would be sent. I still haven’t received that email. My lease still isn’t in the portal. And I haven’t received a water bill in 4 months. I find the lack of communication to be deeply frustrating and sending email with a timeline would be better than the absolute silence. The grass is full of dog waste. The parking lots of full of cars of people who don’t live here or have missing / out of date registration. In the summer the pools are used by non residence until the early hours of the morning. Overall what used to be a fantastic place to live has turned into a total nightmare.
