The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Commons
They don’t clean carpets before move ins- or the apartment for that matter. Make sure you check behind appliances before moving in. They also overcharged and then decreased prices months later but I’m still stuck paying a ridiculous amount for no microwave or room to put one anywhere, 1989 fridge, dishwasher, and stove with a round clock. Not even digital and uneven heating in oven. Window and tub broken when I moved in 5 months ago still not fixed and just getting worse. Maintenance comes and takes photos and leaves it at that. My bathroom faucet is even leaking and growing stalactites but they won’t fix that either. Make sure you have bright flashlights when touring YOUR apartment because they’ll give you a tour of an apartment they actually cleaned instead of yours!

I just moved in and when my family toured a unit they stated that the unit i was moving into would be the same as the one shown. There is no microwave. Fireplace or granite counter tops. Carpet is stained, sliding glass is disgustingly dirty in the runner, ceiling is also filthy.
2 weekends in a row I've tried to tour and the office has been closed. The sign says their open on Saturdays but no one is there. In my book that's horrible customer service
If you are looking for a great place to live, The Commons is the place to be. Great management/team in the office as well as a great maintenance team. I moved here on my own from NY and they have made me feel more welcomed than I could have ever hoped! Quiet, safe, clean, friendly place to live!
The Commons office has some very understanding staff and I haven’t had any issues with the neighborhood itself but their maintenance team is trash. I came home to a bat flying in my apartment, which was locked, and was told that it wasn’t an emergency and that no one was coming out to help. This was only relayed to me after 3 phone calls and half an hour waiting outside in the cold with just my coat and phone. Prior to this incident, I was without heat and after calling the after hour maintenance line ended up having to spend a night in the freezing cold because no one thought it important enough to call back and no one was sent until the next day. Needless to say my apartment is still cold at 75 degrees. I am a firm believer that everyone should be comfortable in their own home and I currently am not if rodents/pests can get into my apartment even when windows and doors are locked and the people who I pay monthly maintenance fees to don’t see it as an issue nor emergency.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, Al'ysha. The comfort of our residents is our main priority, and we sincerely apologize if we ever made you feel otherwise. Although we appreciate your recognition of our staff, we're sorry our maintenance team has failed to meet your expectations. We apologize for the bat and heat inconvenience; however, maintenance does attend to requests in the order in which they are made, and they do their best to attend to problems quickly and effectively despite high volume. We apologize if this was not your experience. We'll be sure to alert maintenance of the urgency of these issues, as we never want you to be uncomfortable in your home. We'd appreciate the opportunity to improve your stay moving forward. Please stop by the office so we may further discuss your concerns and resolve any issues you are experiencing right away. Thank you.
Maintenance does not know how to clean the apartment. Outside stairways and hallways are full of dusts and they just bring blowers to create even more dusts. Who cleans dusts with blowers? I mean I understand blowers works with tree leaves but you still have to collect them. These maintenance guys pretend they do clean the apartment. Disgusting! The leasing office and the gym are full of chemical fragrances that makes hard to breathe. They gym needs serious update and I almost fell during the workout with their cycle becausw they never fix it. Be respectful to your residents!

The Commons is by far the best apartment that I have ever lived in! It is in a great and quiet neighborhood and is only minutes away from the mall. The maintenance is 24 hours and they a very good at there job and when they give you a time on when they will be there, they are their! The rent office managers are amazing as well! They make sure that you are taken cared of. And let's not forget the people who live their. They are so kind and so generous. I also love the fact that every apartment comes with a fireplace because on those cold winter nights, it will be your best friend! LoL! They are also pet friendly! I would highly recommend this apartment to everyone!!!
A very quiet community to live in. The office staff is excellent. Laura, Heidi, and Jerri have helped me with every question I have had. My apartment was in like new condition. Grounds are kept in beautiful condition. Worry free living. Close to all the stores, mall and shopping. I recommend "The Commons" highly to anyone looking for a great place to live.
