Property Ratings at Chelsea Hall
the apartment I was living in prior to this one was a very small studio. It seemed cute at the time, but after living there a while it felt claustrophobic. I would look to my right and left and just see the walls. It felt like it was getting smaller and smaller. Then I got a lucky break, a friend told me she was moving and asked if I wanted to move into her apartment. My family was less than thrilled about helping me move again.. We considered this apartment even this it was considerably more than my last one. My dad said he would help whenever he could, also my big sister helps me out too. They're my heroes for always making sure I'm taken care of. I have an anxiety disorder and can't take public transportation without panic attacks, so I live within walking distance to my job and basically walk anywhere I need to go. So here I am in my dream apartment, the rent has gone up $500 in the 2 years I've lived here. I've lived in a handful of apts and never have I seen rent increase like this so fast. I work hard to make what I can, but my sister helps me out a lot. I always feel guilty about not making enough on my own to pay the rent, but they feel comfortable with me here. (They also don't want to help me move again!) I've offered several times to look for a cheaper apartment.. I just feel it's not fair to my sister that her hard earned money helps me with my rent. Our dad helps a little bit, but he also has 2 other daughters. My big sister is the most selfless person I know. She would do anything she can to help me and our little sisters. She has never made me feel guilty about her helping, I don't know what I would do without her support. I love this apartment, my cats and I are very happy here. (I'm not a crazy cat lady, I only have 2!) even if I won free rent for one month, it would help me catch up on some bills. Thank you!
