TLDR: Management does not follow their own lease terms & will try to squeeze money out of you on any slip ups (even if you're protected by your lease)

I was recently fined $150 for allegedly leaving six trash bags outside my apartment. While I take full responsibility for anything placed outside my unit—since it is my space—I did not leave those bags out. Upon reviewing the lease agreement, it explicitly states: “If any resident misses service on any of the designated nights, it is their responsibility to bring trash to the designated compactor or dumpster area or keep the trash inside his or her apartment until the next collection evening. Containers/trash may NOT be left out for any reason during non-designated times. If not complied with, resident will receive a warning. If after the first warning the resident is again in violation, his or her container will be removed and/or a fine of $25.00 per bag will be issued.” Naturally, I asked when my first violation occurred and when I received a warning. Their response was concerning. They ignored my questions and stated there was “nothing further to discuss.” I was told that if I didn’t pay the $150 fine, they would apply an additional late fee—10% of my rent. When I requested proof of a prior warning, they referenced a "community notice" sent via mass email seven months ago. A general notice to all residents is not the same as a formal warning for a specific violation. Not only did they sidestep the terms clearly outlined in the lease, but they also penalized me without any evidence of a prior violation or proper warning. If you're considering living here, I urge you to think twice. This isn’t an isolated incident—other residents have faced similar issues. On top of that, the amenities are often closed for vague and unexplained reasons.

Can't Escape from Scummy Tow Companies

Property is generally ok, but is starting a required vehicle/guest vehicle registration program enforced by a questionable 3rd party tow company whose business model is based on profiting off of visitors. I know the practice is normal nowadays, but normal does not make it acceptable. The tow companies that administer these programs need an absurd amount of personal information only to harass friends/family that come to visit. The last thing resident's need is one more administrative task to think of and stay ontop of when the effort to required to simply sustain life is already double what it was two years ago. The egregious part of this was that it was implemented 3 months after signing a new lease, making it a new rule required to be followed that was sprung on me with 75% of my lease still remaining. Find somewhere that treats you right and administers their property in a way that punishes those doing the wrong, not by putting more burdens on everyone.

Never consider this complex!

1. Horrible bugs infestation: cockroaches, ants, fruitflies are everywhere! 2. Terrible location: surrounded by highway and crossroads, railway line nearby is under construction. Have to wear earplugs everynight to fall asleep 3. Irresponsible team: trash won't be picked up timely and the team is not helpful

Front office is very responsive to tenant request/inquiries and I think the attentiveness of staff members makes it a great place to stay. Maintenance team is nice and respectful too! In 2020 where the "pandemic" is usually the reason for delays in follow-up everywhere, I haven't seen this to be the case with auraone90.. (shoutout to Adrianna, thank you)

STAY AWAY!!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE!! HORRIBLE OFFICE STAY

I tried leasing here August 2018. I had no credit history so they asked me to bring In all these documents to prove my Identity and gave me a complete run around from wanting to send my company a verification letter to getting something from Social Security saying I was who I said I was. After supplying them with everything that was asked of me they still denied my application for my credit history. (Why didn't they do that initially) Then on the system when you apply it doesn't tell you that they draft a $150 admin fee along with app fee. Well the thing about that is, if your application is denied or you decide not to move in it takes 60 days!! To get your $150 back. Here it is Novemeber and "I" had to call them to request my own funds. They are liars and the manager Stacy is always out with emergencies and never follows up with you or have her staff to relay messages. If you're not a current resident they don't care about you. The staff is rude as well and makes up excuses on why the ball was dropped. The property is really nice but it's SURELY not worth dealing with bad service from the staff. Try Alexan Central Aparments which os close by. It's a beautiful property, better leasing specials and very courteous staff.

Exactly what I need, nothing more

My sister and I have shared a 2 bed, 2 bath apartment here for the last 2 years and I'm finally moving out due to moving-in with my fiance. Good: really nice location (until the construction, but if you take side roads you can avoid it pretty easily), close to restaurants and fun things to do, really easy to hop on the DART Rail and head downtown, our apartment has big open windows with lots of natural light, all the appliances are nice, plenty of closet space, though the cabinet storage is lacking. I love the balcony, the bathrooms are big and easy to keep clean. It's one of the nicest apartments I've ever lived in. The pool area is SO NICE and if you can go during off-hours when most people are at work/school, it's one of the best places to spend a hot summer afternoon. Parking isn't great on the lower floors, but I park on the 2nd floor and never have trouble finding spots. The maintenance men are the nicest. Angel, especially, who only teased me a little when I couldn't fix the light in the closet. One of the groundskeepers helped me jump my car when the battery died, despite being elbow deep in the flower bed. The not so good, but I wouldn't qualify any of these as bad: Rent is high and keeps getting higher each year. Thanks to the housing market that's exploding. The management isn't great. I haven't had too many real problems with them, but they don't often pick up the phone, are super slow to log packages in (and during the Christmas shipping season, lost three of my packages in a week and mysteriously found them all a month later), and sometimes leave early/without notice. If you work regular work hours, good luck getting home in time to talk to them. They don't enforce the pick-up-after-your-dog rule or the don't-put-your-trash-out-for-valet-trash-until-8:00pm which is annoying and can make the place stinky. I love living here and it has been absolutely perfect for my sister and me. I'm hoping my sister will stay so I can come back and visit the pool during the summer months. If it wasn't so expensive, my fiance and I would want to move-in here, too.

Lived there from 2016 - 2017

As far as the apartment complex itself - it's very beautifully made and the units are clean, modern and nice to live in. Most of my experience here was positive minus a few draw backs. Pros - Justina is a life saver. She is very easy to reach, great to communicate with, and will resolve issues within a reasonable amount of time. If she was the property manager at the time of us staying there, I feel that we would have been much happier. She would remember you, speak to you about your pets, etc. Angel is THE BEST worker you want responding to your calls. He's extremely personable and tends to any issues quickly and professionally. Every time he would see me, he would ask how I was and how my dogs were. Dog friendly - There is quite a few dog people there and we would all meet up in the dog park from time to time. Some of the best friends I made living there were at the dog park. For the most part, you can tell people really love their pets and care about them. Cons - There's dog poop everywhere. No one in building two seemed to pick up their poop. It wouldn't be uncommon to have poop inside the hallways or elevators either. Kirsti was the property manager and was not a joy to deal with at all. Upon moving out, I had to contact upper management to get everything handled due to an error on the office's part. I understand doing your job, but there is a way to do it, and it shouldn't leave 90% of your tenants unhappy. From what I've heard, she has left the property. I try really hard to not make it personal, but Kirsti was a large part of us leaving. Parking was a disaster. It was really hard to find parking for any guests and it wasn't uncommon to have to fight for your own paid parking space. Perhaps it has changed since then. If I were to leave an honest opinion about my time there, I would have left three or less stars. But since Kirsti is no longer there, I feel that it may be a better place to live. I moved to a place with a yard for my dogs, so I'm happy where I'm at, but should it ever come down to it, I could see myself moving back if Justina was in charge.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

On Sunday, November 13th, I stopped by to view this property. The leasing agent who assisted me was name Estee. After touring the property, I made the decision to move forward. Estee advised she would send me the application to get started but never received it. I called her to inform her of this. She apologize and sent the app. After completing it, I called her to follow up. Estee advised she hadn't received me app. She placed me on hold to speak with her Manger. She came back to the line and advised they were experiencing tech issues and that she would have to manually complete the app for me. She stated once completed she would call me back. Shortly thereafter Estee calls me back to inform me that she made a "boo boo." She went on to tell me that she gave me incorrect information. She initially told me I would not have to pay rent until January 1, 2016 which was inaccurate information. She acknowledged the mistake and told me she would see if the Manger would be willing to honor what she quoted me. The Manager was not willing but offered me the option to pay a higher lease and to get a free carport or a free garage for a month. I turned down this offer as I find it unappealing, what can I do with a free car garage for a month?! The outcome is so disappointing and I will be expressing my experience on the social media outlets as well as the Corporate office. To not honor what information that was given by your leasing agent is very unprofessional and unacceptable.

Worst Move-in experience

poor communication by the leasing consultants at the property & they are very rude. Since its a new apartment it might look good but you would have horrible experiences with the people at the property.

Love it!

Couple reasons for not giving it 5 stars. 1) If you need a reasonable amount of storage, these apartments will not give it to you...at least, not the A7 layout. Now, you can pay $35/mo. for a storage unit/garage but I don't have quite THAT much to store to make it worth it. 2) Communication was a bit of an issue in getting our lease signed. When we paid the prorated (we got 6 weeks free!) first month's rent, I assumed the deposit fee was in with that. It wasn't. And we didn't find that out until about 3 weeks later when I get a call saying I haven't paid the fee and it needs to be paid immediately. This wasn't that much of an issue because we had enough set aside and they did apologize afterward and admit it was their fault for not giving us the website to pay that fee beforehand. 3) Office hours are hard if you work normal job hours. If you have a package or need to go by the office for anything, you have to do it between 9AM and 6PM or do it on the weekend. So, if you work normal hours, just be prepared to not be able to pick up any packages until Saturday or Sunday unless you have someone else living with you. However, I did give it 4/5 so here are the things I love: 1) Staff is friendly! Even though communication was not the best at first, they did get it solved and quickly apologized for their mistake. 2) Work orders are addressed in a timely fashion. 3) The location is AWESOME. I walk to/from the DART station daily. I can walk or drive to City Line for all the food and shopping. It is also about 5 minutes or less from downtown Plano with even more shops, a farmers market, and a butcher shop. 4) Because it's so close to the DART, you will hear the trains as they go by but it's not obnoxious and won't keep you up at night. Walls seem to be well insulated. 5) Valet trash pickup!! (You do pay for this) I love being able to just set the trash can outside the door in the evening and pull it in in the morning. You don't have to carry it up and down the stairs..super nice. (There is also on-site recycling which is not valet but nice to have it so close.) 6) Lowest pet fee of anywhere we looked! Also, an awesome dog park...I don't have a pet yet but will be getting one soon and the dog park is amazing! 7) Amenities are pretty sweet. There's an awesome pool, grill area, 24/7 gym access, business rooms, etc.. Love it! 8) Appliances are all included and are energy efficient - contrary to the other review in here, you can fit plenty in the washer and dryer.

surrounded by peace and beauty!

Excellent staff, well-appointed apartment, top-quality kitchen. I just came from a noisy place with lots of wasted space and this floor plan is so well designed I don't miss the square footage at all. I can't find anything in my apartment or the facilities to criticize!

Looks amazing

The apartments and the amenities are amazing but there is one thing that is a deal breaker for me. They do not allow you to use your own washer and drier but hey the provide them for you which is a plus. FYI they are like the worlds smallest washer and drier. You MAY be able to fit 2 pairs of jeans in it. Im not kidding btw. The apartments are still being constructed and they dont expect them to be done till the fall. Also a lot of the floor plans are really small. If you want a decent size youll be looking at $1,300 and that is with the extra small washer and drier. $750 is also really high for a deposit.
