Most aspects of my resident experience have been seamless. Some moderate improvements to maintenance staff communication will help. Concierge team is superb, especially overnight team (Kirabel and the other young lady). Everyone is super chill, friendly and accommodating - plus, they stay on top of things. I love it here. ??
It's been a year. The building is okay, but some of the front desk staff likes to dissappear. Also it would be nice if there were an ice machine in the lobby next to the coffee machine. There ID already a water hook up.

Imagine that you look for an apartment for weeks. You apply to multiple places, spending a ton on application fees for the places you like. You get all of your approvals, and then select the best apartment for you and your family. You get the welcome letter, sign the documentation, pay the security deposit, make all the necessary changes to your services, hire movers, inform all of the apartments that you had applied for that you had made a decision, make arrangements with your job, and rest easy knowing that your search is over. Then, you get a get a call a couple of days later from the leasing office and they inform you that even though they had advertised the space, taken your application fee, gone through the approval process, and had you sign all of the paperwork - they decided to renege on the deal and allow the current tenant to extend their move out date by two months. They casually say that they’re sorry, and that your security deposit will be refunded. This was mine and my family’s experience with Central. They have cost us a ton of money in application fees, a ton of our time and effort, and my whole family is absolutely in tears because we have to start this whole process over again. I do not understand how this is legal, or how there is not a legal precedent for falsely advertising an apartment, but they have caused us a ton in undue stress and financial harm.

I am a new tenant as of less than a week ago, but I would be lying. If I said, this wasn’t the best apartment building I’ve ever lived in in my young adult life! I have met several residents who are very friendly, the management of the building is super accommodating, the space I live in is beautiful, and the amenities are life changing! Great and convenient location, friendly and professional staff and nice building with good amenities. They do a nice job of building upkeep, and it's always clean. There are plenty of businesses, cafes, grocery stores, and other necessities. Everything is super close and walkable.

The apartment, amenities, and staff are all wonderful. It is a bit pricey, but with a seasonal promotion, I think its reasonable. The most important things to me were the 24/7 concierge, package lockers, nice fitness room, and gated inside garage. Just be prepared that downtown is not quiet and there has been construction recently.

Great location for access to DC, Baltimore, NY/PHL via Amtrak and via the 3 airports to the rest of the world. Essentials like grocery store, bank, library etc. within walking distance. Friendly staff, generally very helpful. Rent and parking fees are becoming increasingly unaffordable.

Area is awesome and the staff is warm And friendly and attentive. Not enough visitor spots is one issue that I would to be taken care of. Other than that everything is wonderful. Oh, and maybe keep the pool open earlier in the year.

So far it’s been amazing staying here! Hopefully we can continue to stay if rent doesn’t increase too much. There us construction around us so it isn’t the best view but hopefully rent decreases due to this.

I lived here for 1 year it was a great experience. The staff was very accommodating and had excellent customer service. Overall living experience is nice. The apartment events are a great addition but they tend to not have enough for more than the regulars that go to it. Street noise is loud but expected being in down town

So far everything has been great. Leasing staff/ reception is so friendly. Maintenance is quick, we put in a request on Saturday and they called the next business day. So far we are really liking this place. The coffee machine is great too.

I’ve lived at Central just under a year and have enjoyed my time here. The building is nice, the staff are friendly, and the amenities are good. It’s centrally located with a lot of local restaurants to explore. Every maintenance request has been promptly address thanks to Thedros!!

Convenient location, building is kept very clean and apartments are nice. The easy access to the metro station, cafes, restaurants, the library, the post office and basically any other business that is needed, is fantastic.

Love my experience here so far! Very clean, no major maintenance issues and mostly friendly staff. Also, as a person living alone safety is number one, and overall I feel very safe!

I have absolutely enjoyed moving here. It was one of the easiest moving processes I've had in a very long time. I love the key fob and security of having 24 hour concierge service. I enjoy the package process. I just wish I was given more information regarding the locations of things. Sure the gym and outdoor spaces were shown but the bike room, loading dock area and procedures. I feel I keep asking questions but it's because I wasn't given a "how to" manual for Central. That would be awesome for new residents.

Outside construction and Saturday early morning outside events make it very hard to enjoy a quiet weekend. Windows are not insulated against noise at all. Definitely, not renewing our lease.

The best thing about Central is that it's...central! Everything you need is an easy walk away. The building is also very new with great amenities and minimal noise. The staff is always very kind and helpful.

Beautiful building with a welcoming staff that respects your anonymity. Package room incredibly secure and has a fridge in case you like having your groceries delivered. Amazing 24/7 coffee/tea machine - best amenity in my opinion. Amenities in other common spaces are iffy - tend to be broken. Public Wi-Fi in work spaces is very slow when functional. Grills are only accessible til 10pm. I’ve enjoyed my time here thus far minus the lack of insulation between units. Thin floors so you can hear your upstairs neighbors & have to tip toe or buy thick carpets carpet pads to avoid noise complaints. In unit appliances are a bit cheap and the maintenance guy is a bit abrasive. Nonetheless, perfect location in Downtown Silver Spring.

We love living at Central. Everyone that works here is always hospitable and the downtown location is amazing. We can walk every where! I would also say that after living here for years, I have never felt unsafe. There is a 24 hour concierge and you need a fob to get in the building and use the elevators. The apartment itself is spacious and very bright. We have floor to ceiling windows on half of our walls. We also got a puppy when we lived here. Very dog friendly. It was a great way to meet our neighbors. The amenities are very high end. 24 hour gym, there is a club house and multiple outside courtyards, but my favorite is the pool! There are loungers in the shallow part of the pool.

Great location. Garage has electric car chargers. The move in process was super easy and all the people in the front office and at the concierge desk have ben friendly and helpful.

Central is kept very clean, awesome maintenance team and great amenities. The building is located very conveniently to everything and anything. Wish the building amenities were accessible more than they currently are (i.e. - pool open for longer moths).
