Property Ratings at Carrick Bend
Management has done nothing about the repeated gun violence striking our apartment community over the past few weeks. Multiple residents including myself have reported it to management and the police and they have done absolutely nothing. Over the weekend of 7-26-22 there was a violent shoot out leaving one dead. Management has said and done nothing to even inform the residents of the tragedy. It turns out that there has been several weeks of late-night gun violence here from a specific unit and management has been informed and will do nothing about it. Stray bullets have hit parked residence vehicles and even went through a residence window with them in that very room. I am writing the review in hopes that something positive will change here instead of the continued downfall of this once great community.
Love the area! Literally a perfect spot that is close to EVERY thing you need within a one mile radius.

While the apartments themselves are decent, they constantly leave dog poop and trash all over the grounds. There has been a broken emergency sign in the hallway for 6 months dangling. There is never a place to park if you get home after 5 unless you pay an extra 40 dollars a month for an assigned spot. They don't enforce removal of cars that shouldn't be parking there. The dumpster is overflowing in to the street. And regardless if what your rent is they add on all these additional "billback" amounts onto your rent. Lastly good luck getting them to pick up your trash or refilling the dog waste bags. I would never recommend living here, there are much better places. Also they charge an outstanding amount when you move out regardless of how long you've lived there. Don't expect normal wear and tear to be ignored, they need their money.

We pay for community amenities that are basically unusable. There is an incredibly loud noise from the water heater? And we were told we have to just deal with it, they wont fix it. Follow up on emails is very poor. Parking is a complete mess. Maintenance requests submitted online go unanswered unless you call the office.

My biggest complaint, like many others, is parking. I really wish they would have assigned spots for everyone or at least more spots in general. There's definitely too many cars here and not enough room for them. Its almost impossible to find a spot after 4pm on the weekends. Other than that I love it here! The appliances are new and the apartment is big, open, and clean. Even though we're right next to the highway and boondocks it's pretty quiet here. Love that there's a nice park within walking distance.

I've been very happy living here for almost 2 years! The complex is very clean and the amenities are well-maintained. I've also had great experiences interacting with management. Overall this is a great community to live in.

I felt at home here the day I moved in. My animals were welcome with open arms and move in was so easy. I love the open floorplan and the bathtubs are the perfect size for bubble baths. My dog is a grest dane mix and he loves how much space there is to run around. We dont plan on leaving until we buy a house.

This is a great community to live in. Its safe, close to the interstate, a park, the rec center, restaurants and shopping. The staff is friendly and attentive and the apartments are nice.
My family and I have lived at Carrick Bend for a few years. When we first moved in management was wonderful. There was solid communication between management and residents. Management also hosted several community events. Recently there has been a decline in communicaiton. For example, maintenance entered our appartment for a routine inspection without notice. The office said they taped a notice to the door but it must have blown off. This is not acceptable. Also, parking is a real concern. There are rarely parking spots available close to our building. Finally, many pet owners are not picking up after their dogs.
I really liked this place, to me it felt very modern and clean, I am overall very satisfied with where I live and if you can afford to live here defiantly do so.

We have thoroughly loved living here. The office employees as well as maintenance have all been wonderful whenever we have needed anything.
Overall the experience has been good.
The manager, Robyn, helped me out of a very difficult situation. She is extremely helpful, and you can tell she cares about the complex and all her residents. The apartments are gorgeous, and the property is very impressive. Highly recommend!

The management at this property is absolutely appalling ! I've never had this experience with any apartment in my life. Do NOT move here. I normally would not be one to write a review, but I feel someone needs to warn others.

If you have a car DON'T RENT HERE. The only thing management does for parking is tow your friend's cars. Any visitor after 10 p.m. gets towed. So, don't plan on having any guests past then because they will get towed. It's also the loudest place you'll ever live, I-25 is right there.

Residents have access to Guest Passes so their guests can park without the threat of towing. We do explain to every resident our parking policies when they are given their parking permits.. I lived there for about 10 months. Nice property and nice apartments. Okay location. The original management and staff were unbelievably awesome. Then another company bought them out and put their staff in place. They are complete crooks. If you choose to rent here, save every correspondence you have with them. If you don't have the actual piece of paper, they will not honor their agreements. Unbelievably shady.
You don't want to rent at Carrick Bend. especially, if you have pets and a car. If you come in later than 10 p.m. in the evening, you can count on the fact that you will never be able to find a parking spot because there is not enough parking for all of the tenants and management doesn't care. They are more than happy to rent you an overpriced garage and dictate what you park/store in it. In addition,they claim to be pet friendly;however, the property is anything but pet friendly. the only decent area of the property is a center courtyard which they have banned all animals from and no one ever uses. It's a complete waste of space. If that isn't enough, you can count on management ignoring your concerns. They will not respond to emails they barely return phone calls and when they do they are anything but nice or professional. their Storm maintenance / management is lacking at best. there is still ice buildup from the Thanksgiving snow storm. You'll need your four wheel drive to get through the parking lot due to deep ice ruts. They don't shovel the sidewalks and they make very little effort to protect the community from potential injuries from falling on the ice.
CHARMING & GORGEOUS!! This apartment is absolutely spectacular and in the best area! Very close to restaurants, stores, Boondocks, EB Rains Park and I-25. Carrick Bend is everything my husband and I weren't looking for in an apartment. We had decided to live in the basement of his father's house until we went on a tour with Brad. Needless to say Brad's personality, professionalism, and desire to help everyone around him made us decide to move here. It is quiet, clean and such a good deal for what we are getting in this insane housing market. Our apartment is HUGE with a large walk-in closet, oversize bathroom, oversize patio, gorgeous flooring, ceiling fan, beautiful granite counter tops, high class cabinets and nice fixtures. Don't forget about the trash valet that comes to your door 5 days a week to pick up trash! Having two dogs, it was important that we were living in an area that was pet friendly. Not only are our neighbors friendly, the complex is very pet friendly. I am so happy that we decided to move in here. The entire office staff has made our move extremely easy and it quickly became our "home" rather than an apartment we were renting. We always feel comfortable and taken care of. If you are looking to lease a great apartment at a fair price, with a friendly staff, then lease here at Carrick Bend. We seriously couldn't be happier with our decision!
Let me start off by saying the leasing staff is great. They are very nice and knowledgeable in the property. The apartments are beautiful. Great finishes, barely any storage besides the closet on the balcony so you have to get creative. There is much noise keep in mind the property is still undergoing construction but most of the noise is coming from the highway. I was told during move in they were going to put up a wall to help block the noise but instead there is a metal 4-foot gate just to enclose the property. The parking is absolutely ridiculous. You can't even park by your apartment unless you're home by 6-7pm. They aren't strict about guest passes and there are people that literally taped the guest pass on because they never leave. They require you to use your garage for nothing other than parking. I pay $100 a month for my garage I should be able to use it for whatever I want to. I use it for storage since there isn't any in the apartment alone like I said earlier. Also, I work late hours and if I make the littlest sound after 10pm I get a notice on my door the next day that I am too noisy. This is supposed to be my home and quite honestly it feels like a dorm. I hope this helps your decision.
I love this apartment, best we have ever experienced but the price is so high! The office staff is Absolutlely Amazing! We had lost our home about 9 years ago and haven't been able to get into a house since! We have helped our kids and now seeing them in their own homes, it's hard to see us still struggling! This would be a Dream come true! We're granparents now and it would be nice to have the whole family over again for gatherings! My husband is going in his 32nd year and me with the same dentist for 26 yrs. I know it's in God's hands but his would help so much!!!!
