The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Carlyle Mill
Price and sq ft are good. But multiple units are having terrible A/C issues and experiencing leaks due to very poor upkeep. Limited maintenance staff makes it impossible to get things fixed. Community manager is not seen anywhere and doesn’t communicate to the community.
Just a week before we moved in, the leasing office told us tenant that supposed to leave couldn't move out. We had already planned our move and nowhere to stay at that time , That was nightmare!
At Carlyle Mill you get to live in the lap of luxury for an affordable price! Living in NOVA is very expensive but for the average worker Carlyle Mill provides an upscale environment at a reasonable rate. A two-level pool, 2 story gym, pub, and courtyard are some of it's best features. Spacious, high-ceiling apartments make living in the city feel a lot more like home. Carlyle is also located right next to a metro stop as well as several popular places within walking distance such as Subway, a nail salon, Starbucks, Cold Stone, and a very large movie theater. The grocery store and several restaurants are only a short 2-3 minute drive away. I have lived here for 3 years and just signed a new lease for a one bedroom apartment in building 2201 and I am very excited!
Lacey Jayne, my Princess Maltese, and I live in the most beautiful apartment in Old Town Alexandria. It is a Dog Friendly community with immediate access to all the wonderful boutiques of the town. Coffee around the corner, walk anywhere and everywhere. Summertime swims in our beautiful Pool and Wintertime views form our huge Balcony. We are living the luxury life at an affordable price. Did I mention the outstanding Staff. Friendly, Caring and Cordial!
I moved into my apartment sight unseen (work relocation), and it has met my needs for several years. Initially, I chose it for the proximity to two metro stations and imagined that I would reconsider my options and move closer to the district or Old Town eventually. However, as the neighborhood develops (coffee shops, nail salons, movie theater, sandwich shops, etc.) it becomes more convenient. And as the management becomes more consistent and they complete the planned upgrades, I am having a difficult time justifying a move. The rent is average, and square footage is more than enough. Content is the best word to describe my situation.
