I’ve had a really good experience living at Brookside. From the start it’s felt like home. The office staff is always friendly, easy to talk to, and quick to help with anything I need. The community stays quiet, clean, and welcoming, and I’ve always felt comfortable here. Overall, it’s been a positive place to live and I really appreciate the way everything is run.
We have been a resident at Brookside for over a year now and love it here. It’s very peaceful, clean and The staff team are wonderful. If I have a question, concern or a maintenance request they take care of it right away. I recently resigned the lease and look forward to another year here at Brookside
Very good neighborhood, quiet area with good amenities. Location is exceptional, within 20 minutes of uptown and concord. Staff is accommodating and responds.
We have lived here for over 5 years and this current management company is great. They are communicative, responsive and not invasive at all. Pretty quiet community overall. I plan on renewing again.
Living here 6 months or so and still haven't been able to come up with an issue. The complex is well maintained, our unit has stayed in good condition, no issues from neighbors. Overall, its been great!

Very nice area! Close to grocery stores, very spacious, love the big washer and dryer. Appreciate no gym fee or extra hidden fees. Very easy to move in and make it your new home!

Since moving in i noticed it’s really quiet at night. I liked that because I get up at 4 in the morning, I be well rested. I also like the pond of turtles the community have, it’s very relaxing and soothing

All have been good since I been at Brookside. I haven’t had any problem i am glad to leave in a good neighborhood. Just sometime the parking lot get full quick I guess we have a lot of new neighbors dont know.

I have lived here since May of 2024 and have no complaints! Leasing office is quick to answer calls and responds to emails in a timely manner. The grounds are always kept nice and the price is about average for this area.

Love living in this community. Feel safe and protected. Have only has a couple of issues ( power outages) that have been dealt with appropriately. Wish we had better security devices around pool area and dog park which is the only places where crime has been reported

Ive been living here for two years and overall, it’s been a good experience. The staff is super friendly. My apartment was clean and move-in ready, and I love the natural light in the living room. The location is perfect—close to everything I need. My only real complaint is the thin walls—you can sometimes hear your neighbors. But honestly, that’s pretty typical for apartments. I’d definitely recommend this place to others.

The pool situation is new to me. Why can’t we use fobs like the gym? If the office is closed it is a free for all. I called security once but they don’t go on the clock until 8pm. I just think you could do better. I will say that the office staff is available and helpful with anything I have needed. I see improvements. Nothing but love to maintenance! The property looks beautiful.

Our staff here at brookside is incredible I have a chance to say I have extended family Kim has done a great job getting this place back together Robin and ebony have both been incredible place feels like home again I was going to leave but because of New Management I decided to stay another year thanks for making this a great place to call home have a great day

The entire process was probably the best ever experienced with any apartment community. Not only did we feel welcome just touring the model unit, but we consistently had amazing communication and support from the leasing office and ot all felt so personal. Moving from an apartment complex we consistently had issues with to Brookside had been night and day. The second we moved in, the leasing office staff and maintenance crew were working on minor issues we noted when we moved in and they did it all without hesitation and a smile on their faces. And the unit itself is wonderful. Living in NC we know the summers can be hot and humid so having decent AC is a must - the AC in our unit is more than decent. I cannot stress enough how pleasant the entire process was and how amazing all the staff members are.

Nice, friendly neighbors very quiet community. All staff members are friendly and help with whatever needs you may have. Amenities are great. I absolutely love that. This is the place me and my daughter get to call home.

Alls good here. I do like it here. Parking can be a little hectic !!! And I dream of an elevator… when I realize I gotta carry groceries up the to the third level. But I just count it as my daily cardio.

Could be worse. Apartment is not updated and very old. Old appliances. Small bathrooms. Old crusty features. Great location and area. Lots to do around the area.

I’ve lived here since February 2024 and enjoy the pool, quaint pond with turtles, and convenient location. However, the apartment has many issues. The doors look kicked in, the AC is inconsistent, and maintenance is unreliable, often requiring multiple work orders. Many things were just painted over instead of properly fixed—tubs weren’t resurfaced, doors were poorly reattached, and there’s mold on window seals and under sinks. A major leak from my upstairs neighbor also caused flooding in my unit. While rent is cheap, the poor maintenance and apartment conditions outweigh the cost.

It’s not terrible but there are always a lot of roaches. And a lot of things in the apartment are older and need to be replaced and not just “updated” by painting over it.

Great staff and quick to act maintenance team. Grounds do have broken glass everywhere including where the dogs poo bins are located. Bark parks could both benefit from artificial turf over the mulch.

I love the community. The leasing office is very friendly and so are my Neibors. It’s also very quiet at night I don’t have to worry about the notices in the middle of the night.

My experience with Brookside has been well, occasional issues arise with parking, and heavy issues with internet outages that seem to occur with the office is closed, so during those times no internet, but otherwise okay.

It is nice living here! i love the community and how accessible is the environment It is also safe and free access to the gym, grill area and the trail if I may say! A lot of perks living here it is nearby to buy out needs we can actually walk going to food lion, walmart and even aldi! The leasing officers are always willing to help and there are police officers guarding the area so all and all it is very a good choice to be here!

Me and my daughter moved in a month ago. Absolutely love it here!! I had been looking for a place and was overwhelmed and stressed. I stopped in one day passing by. Thought I’ll just check. I walked in the office doors and was greeted by Natalie . She was so helpful and patient with me. She took me around the property and answered every question I had and questions that I didn’t.?? I wasn’t planning on any of that but I’m so glad she took the extra time to ease my mind. It brought us here. Love our two bedroom apartment and The amenities are great. It is overall just a great place to live!! Thank you Natalie for everything!! A big shout out to the maintenance team as well. They are on their A game!

Wish amenities were better: Valet trash is charged automatically but they don’t actually come like they’re supposed to (reliably). One week, they didn’t come at all and it wasn’t a holiday or anything.
