Wallingford extends from Green Lake south to Lake Union. Located between Aurora Avenue and I-5, Wallingford is directly west of the University of Washington. The southern tip of the neighborhood consists of Gas Works Park, a historic park with incredible views of the mountains and a kite-flying hill. The park was once home to the Seattle Gas Light Company gasification plant, built in 1906. Meridian Park, another popular Wallingford destination, is home to the historic Good Shepherd Center, also built in 1906.
Considered one of Seattle's trendier neighborhoods, Wallingford offers a terrific blend of historic and modern. Places like the Wallingford Center manage to combine both -- hip, trendy shops and restaurants in a historic building that once served as a school and is now a mixed-use development. Closer to the university, residents can visit the Burke Museum, the Henry Art Gallery, and the Neptune Theatre.

We selected Broadstone Vin because of the excellent location which is close to downtown. There is plenty of public transportation to go downtown Seattle. The area offers lots of restaurants and services. The apartments are relatively new and in excellent condition. There is a gym where we can exercise anytime. Management cares about the community and organizes events. The community is very respectful. I have no complains for noises or other unrespectful behavior.

No complaints about the building so far so that accounts for 2 stars vs 1. But it requires a service for packages called fetch. Experience for my first packages: 1. Friday evening, scheduled delivery between 8-10pm. At 9pm, "your previously scheduled time is no longer available". Maybe some advanced notice? 2. Saturday afternoon, scheduled delivery between 12-2pm. I'm posting this around 5pm and still no package, or any sort of shipping update. At 4pm I requested an update from fetch and have not received a response.

The *only* downside of living here is that Fetch is a terrible, terrible service.
