The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Bristol Village at Charter Colony
Bad maintenance and management doesn’t care. I moved here based on the reviews and will be moving on where maintenance actually does their jobs.

Hello, our team is discouraged by your experience at Bristol Village at Charter Colony and disagrees with your characterization of our maintenance and management teams. Our goal is always to provide maintenance services in a timely manner. All resident requests are addressed in the order in which they are received with priority given to more urgent repairs. That said, if your request has been pending for longer than expected, you can always reach out to us directly to get more information about the status.
Some of the apartments are privately owned, and those tenants seem to enjoy living here. However, renting through the complex is a total waste of money. They do not maintain the units. When I moved in, the paint job was not done, the appliances were half broken, floors were cracked and the electrical system fails time and time again. Management is terrible, they have no interpersonal skills and the manager’s assistant is always changing so you’ll talk to a different person each time. since moving in, i’ve had over 30 work orders. The property itself is poorly maintained, the pool is always dirty, the gym equipment is old and tired. Nothing about this place is worth the price, nothing. Terrible decision on my part to move here.

We are concerned to hear you've been experiencing ongoing maintenance issues and that the quality of our community has fallen below your expectations. Please swing by the office or give us a call at your next convenience so that we can discuss your issues in greater detail. Our team is here to help our valued residents enjoy the positive living experience they deserve, so we sincerely hope to speak with you soon. Thank you.
We've lived in this apartment community for several years. When we moved in the place was well maintained. After about a year here, a company called Dreyfuss Management took over as property manager. Given the observations and degradation of care, I don't know that we would rent here again. I would advise anyone to thoroughly shop around. There are other apartment communities here that are newer and (currently) better run. The pros of living here: - Decent sized unit with big windows, lots of trees, and green space. - Maintenance is reasonably responsive, and the service personnel are friendly and respectful when they've been in our unit. - The gym and pool are decent. In-unit appliances are ok. -the website portal works great- easy to pay and/or call for maintenance. The downsides - the office management staff does not have strong interpersonal skills. Emails and calls are ignored. So, if you need to speak to them, you need to call until you get someone on the phone or you need to go to the office to find them. No one looks up and they seem annoyed you're there. - Notices come out with glaring spelling/syntax/grammar errors. - We were delivered a 5-day Eviction notice for intended for another tenant. - the parking lots and breezeways have gone from being well maintained to being trash repositories. bagged and unbagged trash is everywhere. Including in the bushes. - there a number of dog-waste-bag dispenser stands and bags are provided. Which is a great perk, except for the fact that the management company has taken to just leaving large rolls of bags in the dispenser instead of properly loading it. The net effect of this is there are more empty dog poop bags floating around than dog poop. - a number of the buildings now have large sections of their roofs covered with blue tarps. Some of these blue tarps have been there a long time. It looks awful, and I wouldn't rent living space in a building where the roof integrity was questionable. - my neighbors and I have frequently come home to service trucks parked in our private rented parking spaces. I've seen my neighbor pull in with a carload of kids and groceries and have to negotiate with some recalcitrant third-party vendor. We've had HVAC and cleaning people park in our space and refuse to move until my wife called the sheriff. We've complained and were met with eyerolls and disdain by both members of the property management company.

We set an appointment to see tour the property. No one was in the building when we arrived. We waited around for 20min because we were early and still no one showed. Unfortunate. Thanks for wasting our time.
Just recently moved to Bristol Village and love it here. The office staff are very helpful and friendly, maintenance requests are resolved as quickly as possible and the community itself is beautiful. This is easily one of the best places I've ever lived.
This complex is very well maintained and has great amenities for the residents. There's a club house with pool, fitness center, business center and a grill out back by the pool to use. They also have a car care center that has a vacuum, garage and place to wash your car. The complex is half residents that own their place and the other half rents to young business people. Great community and convenient to area necessities. The apartments are very well designed with upscale features. Very high ceilings and great sized closets! Each unit has their own washer and dryer and plenty of space.
