Murrayville is a suburban town spanning west of Interstate 40 less than 10 miles east of the North Carolina coast and 10 miles north Downtown Wilmington. The northern section of town is made up of lush, wooded land, while the southern region consists of peaceful residential areas with a variety of modern apartments and a few single-family homes available for rent. Outdoor recreation in town is provided by picturesque community parks like Smith Creek Park, or residents can travel a few minutes east to the Atlantic Coast beaches. Market Street (Highway 17) provides chain eateries and big-box stores while Downtown Wilmington holds the quieter locally owned boutiques and restaurants. More convenient amenities outside of town include the Wilmington International Airport and the large plazas off the Highway 17 and Highway 117 intersection.

Property Ratings at Briarcliff Villas
In less than 6 months that I have lived here, my apartment has had NUMEROUS problems. The bathroom sink leaked and maintenance had to come back 3 times before it was fixed properly. I am a very clean person, but this apartment has been crawling with cockroaches and houseflies, even after pest control coming in multiple times. I even sprayed insect repellent around the perimeter myself and bugs are still here. There is something wrong with the toilet because the tank turns off and on intermittently. And most recently the dishwasher leaked all over the kitchen floor. The front desk staff has been friendly, but management and upkeep of the complex seems to be seriously lacking.

Briarcliff has been enjoyable living in. I've stayed here longer than I expected because it's easy and I feel well taken care of. Before, I wanted to buy a house within a year of when I moved here but living here has made me second guess that. I like being able to place a maintenance order and knowing that it's taken care of and not having to worry about things. Only improvement I'd make is better sound proofing

I'm lovin it! Not as much as I like the McD's Frappe, but pretty close. In all seriousness, this has beena nice place to live. People here are nice and the maintenance is kind.
Apartments are not bad for the price but maintenance has not fixed an issue that we have put a work order in multiple times.
