This complex for it’s age, I feel one of the best complex in Gastonia! The Manager Teresa is always accommodating on top of things, and Misty is the best. All the girls in the office are precessional and so nice. Maintenance guys I can’t say enough positive things about! Always available and quite honestly I don’t know how they do it! Thank you guys. I can go on and on but I’m probably running out of room here. Kid friendly because when my grandkids come see me, they have a lot of friends to play with. Reasonably nice apartments. Been here almost 2 years and stay another 2 or more. I would like to provide my as a happy tenant. Donna Levi.

I have lived at Brentwood for 2 years. The office staff is outstanding, maintenance is excellent, the property is well kept and managed superbly, not to mention the amenities! Salt water pool, grilling areas, fire pit and gas grills coming soon and also not one but TWO dog parks, and a playground! This place just keeps getting better and better! You will not be disappointed making Brentwood Chase your new home!
I recently moved into Brentwood Chase despite some of the negative reviews I read online and boy I’m glad I didn’t listen to them! First of all, the staff here is AMAZING! Teresa, the manager, is extremely helpful and knows you by name! She goes out of her way to make sure you are taken care of. Misty in the leasing office is also wonderful! She made the process of moving in extremely easy and made sure everything was perfect before move in. The negative reviews about the staff are completely inaccurate and I can tell you these girls are doing an amazing job! Furthermore, maintenance is super fast! I moved in and needed a new dishwasher and garbage disposal and they had them replaced so fast I couldn’t believe it! Finally, the apartment itself is so nice and clean! This is a great place to live with a devoted, caring staff and I’m so glad to call it home! Don’t believe all the negative out there. You won’t be disappointed!
I have lived at Brentwood Chase for over 10 years. My most recent neighbor that has moved in is a smoker, and the smells seeps into my closet, causing most of my dress clothes to smell like I'm a chain smoker! It also makes my bathroom smell due to the shared vent. Maintenance checked my apartment 3 times after she moved in, and they said there was no way for the smoke to get in. Don't believe that it is a smoke free complex. I will have to move after 10+ years because I'm tired of all my clothes smelling like cigarette smoke!
This complex ruined my rental history which ruined my life. I moved out on the 9th and eviction was filed against me on the 12th.I had moved an entired uhaul to tampa fl on the 10th filled with everything i owned leaving nothing behind so i have no idea why they filed it to start with. The apartment was cleaned. No damages. I left my lease on time. A clean and quiet tenant i stayed for 12 months and still "owe" 2 grand without an explination for it. I will NEVER pay it and I will continue to write updated reviews to warn people against this company. I can take what they have done to me but, if i can save 1 family from an undeserved eviction bc they avoided this property thanks to me telling my story then im happy. I promise they dont care about you or your family and before i forget... when i moved in i was a single mom moving to the 3rd floor. I had a big box and inside was a 13 gallon bag of trash. I hadnt gotten it hauled off yet it had been just a couple days. Maintenance took it and left a bill on my door for $80. There was no phone call, no warning letter or notice that i couldnt have a box on my porch during move in. I called the office and i swear i heard them laughing. I had gotten in touch with someone over them who Formally apologized on behalf of southwood and removed the $80 bill but, to get that from her i had to withhold rent for the 2nd month and i did just that! Im SO glad that i didnt give in and pay that looking back!!! Dont let scar your credit with something that looks like theft!!! Never stolen anything in my life but, trying to rent im treated like its theft. Like i said ill continue to update reviews on all review sites against this property.
It does not matter how good of a tenant you are or how great your pay history is. They show no appreciation or compassion. All they care about is the money! No customer service at all! Dumpsters are few and far. Stairwells need to be redone. No assigned parking.
I've lived here for 4 or 5 years now and am ready to move!! I loved the office staff when I first moved in. I had the best leasing agent. She was very easy to talk to and with me moving from up North to teach she helped me feel comfortable. She got pregnant and left shortly after she came back. Since they have had leasing agent after leasing agent it seems. This is the 3rd new one and she is worse off than the last one. The other girls are in the office are stuck up and rude other than the one with the blonde hair. I am so ready to move out. I am beyond tired of the attitudes.
I love Brentwood Chase! It was my first choice when researching places before moving down here. It is beautifully maintained and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. It is ideally located - just a short drive from the many charming towns of Gaston County and and Charlotte is only a 20 minute drive. An added bonus for me and many others that live here - they offer a discount for teachers! I couldn't ask for a better place to live!
I moved from san diego, California to Gastonia, North Carolina into brentwood chase apartments. The staff is very nice and helpful and the maintenance crew is fast. when you need something fixed and report it to management they come and fix it right away. The apartment it self is very nice, I live in a three bedroom but the apartment floor plans for the 1-3 bedrooms are very roomy with lots of space and the rent is very reasonable from $960 and under with water, trash, sewer included in the rent all you have to pay is the lights and other stuff you might have like cable. So overall its the best apartment you can find in the gastonia, Nc area.
I like the property its well kept. Spacious rooms and closets. The office girls are friendly. not a bad price considering the area.
I have no complaints about living there. It is well located and has a pool!
