Property Ratings at Breckinridge Point
My apartment is directly beside a main street, and the noise is extremely loud day and night. It is impossible to sleep or live comfortably. I asked many times to transfer to another unit. I emailed them several times – no one responds. I went to the office more than 10–12 times, and every time they just make new excuses and conditions so I cannot transfer. Management does not care and does nothing to help. This place is very unprofessional. If you want peace, do NOT move here. They only care about the lease, not the residents.

I stayed here for some time and management is the worst, they say it's luxurious, but its not at all good. A lot of hidden fees. They charge you for everything which you do not use. I would not recommend this community at all. I would give zero star. They charge for cleaning fee at the beginning and also charge us when we are vacating They charge for things that we did not broke.

Signed a lease in November and was told ONE WEEK before move in in January that it was no longer available because of management who didn't have it in the system. Everything i ordered to the new place now have to figure out where to keep since i can not be refunded. I have to extend my current lease now and pay extra. Not to mention They can not even give me another unit for the price and expect me to pay the higher rent on it or cancel my lease ONE WEEK before move in. I moved from out of state ready to move into this apartment and now i have to find another apartment with a baby. Completely unacceptable business practices never returning to bh managament or breckinridge point again!

Community management is impossible to get ahold of.
This is an amazing community!!!! The office staff members are very friendly and professional, maintenance responds in a very timely manner and it is very quiet and family friendly. I love it here!!!!
Breckingride Point has been a wonderful place to live. Love the peace, the staff and affordable rates.
I have lived here since 2005 and I have always been happy of my choice to live here.
Water has been off and on during peak hours for an entire week. They cannot seem to fix the issue so they just shut off the water for the entire apartment complex with no warning whatsoever. Any maintenance issues takes at least two weeks to take care of. There is no one in the office to speak to and they do not answer phone calls or emails. Every single person that is leasing here feels the same. You would be a fool to rent here. Current resident.
The apartment complex area is really nice. However, the people in the leasing office are not professional. They are simply rude and acts like if you don't like our services go somewhere else.
The new management that took over has taken THREE weeks to get our HVAC fixed and we are still waiting. They tell us consistently itll be done the next day and it never is. If you are looking for a rat infested and poor management apartment home then this is the place to be .... clearly they give the title "LUXURY APARTMENT HOMES" to just anybody

Ive lived here almost two years and anytime I have an issue, its resolved quickly. Issues are usually pretty minor. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The office staff is amazing ! They go above and beyond to help their residents. The community is calm and peaceful. The neighbors are friendly and neighborly. It is a great community.

I stayed there last year. Moved out on November 2019. I have been trying to get my deposit back since December 2019 and they haven’t send me the check yet. It’s been 8 freaking months. It’s my money that I am supposed to get. The leasing office staff is the worst especially Courtney. Very rude, condescending and downright unprofessional. You will be better off somewhere else.

I have had horrible experiences due to the lack of security in this apartment. The gates are always open and they never repair it. Have heard gun shootings several times. One Cop was killed in a shooting.
My husband and I have lived here for 4 years. During this time we have had good and bad experiences, more good than bad. I've read reviews other people have wrote. Obviously everyone has different expectations. This is a large complex with a lot of work needed to keep it looking nice. Maintenance staff works very hard. It's my opinion that they do a wonderful job. We have always had great service when submitting maintenance orders. Office staff seems to change frequently, but this is normal in this industry. However, Courtney and Tessa are the mainstay here and will go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience. Rent is reasonable for the amenities you receive here, something people tend to forget. Take an average house payment and add in maintenance for a pool, exercise room,lawn maintenance, repairs of appliance, mechanicals, etc.. Location is safe and convenient. Pet friendly community. Diverse community. For the naysayers, talk to residents at other complexes. No place is without issues. If you have had a bad experience living here, it's because your expectations were too high, or you didn't work with office staff for a resolution.
I been living here for 2 years and I have 3 kids and a dog, the 2 pools are ALWAYS clean and available. The administration is very helpful, the ladies at the office are very friendly and always available to help, the surroundings are clean, safe and theirs a lot of birds. In the lake there turtle Ii really love to walk the dog around it. They are always making activities for the community. Will definitely recommended, the apartment is very comfortable, great space we fit perfect. LOVE IT!! :o)
Highly disappointed. DO NOT RENT HERE. I had very bad move-out experience with Breckenridge community. They will charge you around $500 as cleaning fees and extra charges which you should not be paying. They sent me final move-out statement of $456.92 which includes carpet cleaning, paint, housekeeping, tub resurfacing. i stayed in the apt for 18 months and left the apt in very good condition and they charged me such huge amount for cleaning the apartment. Wish i could have hired local contractor to clean the apt which should not have cost me more than $100. Also they charged me $110 for tub resurfacing (small crack mark in the bathroom tub) which was already there during my move-in and also i mentioned same in my move-in inventory form. Instead of doing there homework they send me the bill. i was following up with leasing agent- Courtney on same but without the response on my request, they sent the charges to collection company to collect the move out charges. I had to pay the full amount to collection company since they mentioned they will report it on credit history if i don't pay them on same day and i wont be able to lease the apt in future. Later leasing agent agreed to remove the tub resurfacing charges and when they came to know that i already paid full amount to collection company, they refused to refund me my money and said they don't have policy to refund the money. I am very disappointed and unhappy about my past experience with this community. They have worst maintenance service and worst administration. Any maintenance request gets answered after a week. Also community is not safe since there was an open gun fire incident happened in other building during my stay. Will never recommend anybody for this community in future. Zero star.
Breckenridge point apartments are located at a wonderful location but it is seriously understaffed. - Many times during the office hours you will see the office door locked as all the staff is busy showing units to the future residents. - The staff is not knowledgeable enough (or purposely hides) to explain you your utility bill. The average water bill for a 2 Bedroom apartment is $150 !!!! with no explanation. if you will approach the manager , the simple answer will be "We don't know"..... And anytime there is a party hosted by the management , expect your bill to $20 - $30 more !! - *** Most important - You raise a service request and there are high chances that it will be closed without any action. A request for a non working toilet is not entertained for 4 days and upon calling , the staff says you did not created the request as an emergency request. Then she says since you have second bathroom go and use it. Well thats what we have been doing for 4 days. No one knows when the management will look into your problem. Bottom line is , THERE IS NO TRANSPARENCY HERE. YOU WILL NEVER KNOW WHAT THE MANAGEMENT IS DOING AND WHY ............... avoid this apartment if you are not already trapped..........

I just love living at Breckinridge Point! The location is so convinient and near everything and I mean everything. The office staff is always helpful when I need them and maintenance is amazing. The amenities are always a plus, my kids love the pool, park and water park ... my husband and I love the 24hr fitness center! The list goes on and on!!! You would love it here just as my family and I do, I recommend this place to everyone who listens!!!!
So many ants in the house. My daughter had several ant bites. Their service was too late after I asked. Serious thing is mold. It happened in my daughter's room. After they did somethings for it but still... And swimming pool is soooooo dirty. Never clean. I hope they let me move out asap. Don't even think about the moving to here. This apartment is just junk!!!
This complex is in a very convenient location, close to Plano, Richardson, Garland, and Murphy. The area is all new construction and very quiet. It has great upgrades and is extremely spacious and clean, both inside the apartments and within the apartment community. I'm currently searching for a new apartment on the other side of the metroplex because of a job relocation and I'm having a hard time finding another one anywhere close to the quality, cleanliness, and spacious layout. Other apartments with similar square footage but lesser quality cost a lot more. This apartment has the biggest walk-in closets, wash room, and garden tub I've ever seen in an apartment. Brand new stainless steel appliances make for a great bonus! My only complaint is the maintenance response time for non-emergencies. I have to report complaints multiple times before I get a reaction.
Breckinridge point apartmen tlike most apartments have it its highlights and lowlights the low light are minimum and primarily focus on turnover and the staffing which breakdown communication with residents the highlight include clean grouds and a very friendly diverse residents the rent is on the high side of the market however work the money. with the new management I am concerned about the changes the increase in rent in the cut back on friendly perks candy water popcorn.the inexpensive accommodations made for a friendly environment
