Wappingers Falls is a small suburban village positioned just south of Poughkeepsie on the banks of Wappinger Creek. The Historic District covering much of the village center includes exquisite examples of vintage architecture dating back to the 18th century, including Civil War-era row houses, the pre-Revolutionary Mesier-Brewer House, and the Grinnell Library, one of the oldest libraries in the state.

YOU DONT WANT TO LIVE HERE!!!!!
I HAVE BEEN HERE A LITTLE OVER A YEAR AND I HATE IT!...THE CABLE IS BARBARIC LIKE FROM THE 1870'S...YOU CANT TAPE ANYTHING UNLESS YOU BUY A TIVO MACHINE AND PAY MONTHLY FOR IT...IF IT WINDY, SNOWING OR RAINING CABLE GOES OUT FOR HOURS IMMEDIATELY...THE MANAGEMENT NOR THE CABLE COMPANY (MOONBEAM CABLE), DONT CARE AND DONT HELP YOU...I CANT WAIT TO GET OUT OF HERE SO I CAN LIVE LIKE A PERSON FROM THIS CENTURY AGAIN...YOU CANT SPEAK TO THE LANDLORD AND HE DOESNT CARE EITHER...NOT A NICE WAY FOR DISABLED AND SENIORS TO LIVE...DONT DO IT!!!!!!
