Property Ratings at Heritage at Clear Creek
I have almost lived here for an entire year and really don’t have any complaints about the apartment besides the downstairs neighbor. Maintenance is quick to respond, clean, little to no issues with bugs, just a great experience all around.
Property Manager at Heritage at Clear Creek, Responded To This Review
Hello, we strive for 100% satisfaction, and it is great to see you had such a positive experience at Bellevue at Clear Creek. Please don't hesitate to reach out if there's anything additional we can do for you.
I didn't think this place deserved even 1 star. Roaches, fire ants, sugar ants and gnats in swarms. Rats! The place has rats. Never seen anything like it. NO hot tub (which they still list as an amenity). They filled it in over 3 years ago. Not an Olympic sized pool. My high school pool was bigger. One filter working. One busy weekend and it turns green and gets closed for week upon week at the hottest time of the year. Don't move near the pool unless you want to live next to extreme noise. Can't even hear our own TV with the doors closed sometimes. Ice maker filters never get changed so it tastes like a sewer. Horrible smells from the kitchen sinks, like sewage. Backing up with brown goop even on the second floor. Constant electrical problems for years. Brand new air conditioners already breaking. Lightning struck over 6 months ago and burned an entire building and they got no help at all. Still no repairs. Security gates broken all the time so anyone can drive in. Break-ins, drug dealers and we're across from a middle school! Unacceptable. Do not expect any help from management. They will claim things that are just not true. They will do nothing. No enforcement of the rules they claim to do. Stairs outside aren't even attached to the building, very dangerous. Cracked balconies left unrepaired. Cracked tiles that can cut your feet right at the front door. Rent keeps increasing with less amenities. Tennis courts with black mold that are never cleaned. Dog mess everywhere. At your door trash pick-up that often gets left for days, attracts pests of all sorts. You get no choice to take out your own and not pay for it. Pest control charged even if you decide you don't want it (don't sign up for it). This is not a quiet community, with 528 on one side and business noise, to being directly under a helicopter flight path. If you are near the pool get used to living with outrageous noise and screaming. This place is not worth what they are charging. Ever since Bellevue bought this complex it has been turning into a nightmarish place to live. My advice is do not move here.
We moved here in November of 2020, and were forced to move out by May 2021 due to lightning striking and demolishing our entire 9 building. Now before that happened , my car was broken into and robbed of my bag , my Tiffany bracelet with my mother’s ashes , BOTH MY GATE CARDS (so god knows who can get in here now) and my partners wallet. Nothing was done when that happened even tho it happened to about 7 cars that night . But when we first moved here I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly the neighborhood is and while I still stand firm on the great people I am so disappointed in how they treat you especially after a disaster such as what happened. The manager did not show up till hours after the fire happened , didn’t call a few different residents while the fire was happening , called the next morning ; not to mention any resident out that night were on there own luckily like I said the neighbors are wonderful and we’re more eager to help than the management themselves. After everything was said and done all our items in our home were hazardous , with a 1 year old daughter being forced to move out so suddenly when we were just on our feet due to the virus , we figured they would be more helpful and empathic but they are not they only care about money . Asked if since we had only been able to stay 6 months and I work in the complex , to work something out in another apartment possibly with some budge room on rent if it was possible due to replacing literally everything we own but the “regional manager” said no budge room would be made and we would be charged the same price for an apartment available IN A MONTH. Asked about a lighter bill for at least first month on the 2 bed 2 bath that was conveniently available and they want to charge you 350 more for that. Not happening . All the while this is happening and people are put out , some with nothing at all, there is a model apartment furnished and vacant but it was never offered nor was any housing of any kind. The managers act like they care but as nice as they are they don’t show they do through actions. You are a monthly payment made. Maintenance however Is WONDERFUL but very over worked as we lost a worker to a different Position early on in my lease , but he goes above and beyond to always do what is right and required. Carlos is simply amazing and the best part about this complex
Do not move here. I moved out on my lease end date and 3 weeks later they say I owe back rent when I paid the prorated amount. They did not tell me about having to owe anything when I handed the keys into the property manager herself on the day my lease ended. Poor communication and they nickel and dime you when you move out. This places looks nice in the photos but the gate looks horrible and is always broken. Your car will get broken into. They will show you one unit with nice appliances and then when you move in you will have mis-matched and old looking appliances. The rent is way too expensive for what they are charging. I moved into a way nicer apartment and its 100 dollars a month less. This place is a rip off and a dump.
I’ve been living at Bellevue at Clear Creek over a year now and I love it! The office staff are supportive and truly care about their tenants. The maintenance team are always in great spirits and they work hard to keep everything running. The apartment complex offers great value, a good community and safety. I’ve never felt unsafe in my home or walking to and from my apartment which is very important to me. Finding the right apartment is never easy and it’s important to find the best fit for you specifically but I believe Bellevue is absolutely worth checking out!
Super quiet complex! The most kind staffing ever! Maintenance here is amazing, they do it right the first time.
Just the facts: Community is mostly quiet and the maintenance staff is generally very quick to respond to issues within the home. A large amount of dogs are not kept on leashes and will aggressively run up on you and your dogs. No amount of complaints given to office changes the amount this happened in my experience. The apartment does do a good job at making sure dog poo bags are available however based on the amount of times I have stepped in it, it does not appear that it is used by a number of tenants. The Parking lot floods to the point of entering or near entering vehicles The gutters are in such a state of disrepair that waterfalls cascade down the sides of the building and through windows. It also makes entering your home impossible without getting drenched. Sidewalks are often unusable for large spans due to the amount of mud that overtakes them. The mud is not removed and often left for so long that it grows vegetation. You can hear your neighbors conversations very clearly and will also know their bathroom schedule due to the plumbing. According to the office personnel they are working to address a number of these issues however based on my year of experience they are in the same state today as they were when I moved in. IN MY OPINION: At the end of the day you are nothing more than a Lease.

I already own a condo in Downtown Houston but in May 2017, I signed a 1 year lease tab Skyhawk just to have something closer to my work in case I had to work late. Originally, I had plans on moving my fiancé & her 2 dogs across the state to stay there so I was told I needed to pay a $600 pet fee and $20 monthly pet rent. I agreed. 2 weeks into my lease, my girlfriend took a job with the El Paso Police Department & explained that she was no longer moving to Friendswood. In the following days, I went to the office to explain that there would not be any pets in the apartment after all. I was told that they were still keeping my $600 pet fee & that there was nothing they could do. I was still charged an extra $20 every month for pet rent. Throughout the 12 month lease, I paid $840 for pets that I did not have. Upon move out, I received a final bill charging me $125.96 for pet damages to the carpet. I spoke with the manager this morning & she told me the company she uses for carpet cleaning said there were traces of pet. How? The entire issue is quite ridiculous & I’m currently waiting on someone from their corporate office to return my call.
Property Manager at Heritage at Clear Creek, Responded To This Review
Hello, thank you for your review. We sincerely apologize for the delay in reply. We looked into this for you and the on-site team has let us know that they credited back all of the pet rent and removed the pet treatment charge. This was a mistake on our part and for that we are so very sorry. We wish you all the best! Lindsay, Bell Reputation Team
I've been in Skyhawk Apartments for over 2 years now, and I absolutely love it. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with constant beautification projects. The neighborhood is safe and quiet; as a young woman living alone, I don't ever feel scared or unsafe if arriving home late. The maintenance staff is absolutely amazing. I have never submitted a request and not had it fixed within 24 hours. They also usually go above and beyond for service. For example, my shower head broke, and Carlos was there within two hours with an upgraded shower head at no cost. The office staff are also incredibly friendly, recognizing me, knowing my name, and remembering details about my job or pets. My only complaint is the cost. Since it is in a nice area of Friendswood, the rent isn't particularly cheap. They have also been doing community wide upgrades, so my rent has steadily increased about $30 a renewal. Other than that, I couldn't be happier with Skyhawk.
Best Apartments I've ever lived in, in my life!!! Awsome customer service. love the gym. Also loved how quite it was at night.
Pretty apartment Great location and good space Tennis, pool, work out.
This was the second apartment me and my family lived in. It is very clean and quite. Very nice apartment complex to live in.
