The seven months I have been living at Bell capital Hill I am so relaxed and content I cant ask for anything more living here made me very satisfied I like the way that the maintenance operate when you put in a work order I like the fact that when Im able to go to the leasing office someone is always there to assist me I like the fact when I come out the door the hallways are very clean the cleaning person always available maintenance is on time when I put my work order in yes I will refer family and friends to Bell capital Hill...
I do like my apartment it is really being spacey compared to other places I live is very convenient Its very quiet everything is very convenient for me

I've enjoyed the entire process, from looking at the apartment complex, filing out the application, the move in, the staff was always pleasant and professional.
Bell Capitol Hill is a lovely Community, from my experience being here although I had some problems the staff was very much concerned and got to work. They were very professional and very polite. I would give a thumbs up to anyone considering moving to this location.
As a new resident at Bell Capitol Hill I love the size of the apartment, the appliances and the building amenities.
The management staff and maintenance staff are so helpful and friendly! I have been here a month and I have been so thankful for all the help they have given me! John was friendly and quick to answer all of my questions even before I moved in! Since moving in, both he and Shanice have been so patient with all my continued questions and very proactive when I have questions about things like packages that are getting delivered! John even helped carry some heavier packages to my apartment! Behailu and Richard were extremely helpful the day I moved in because the air conditioner was not working quite right! They got it taken care of quickly and even came back to check! Behailu also helped make sure my washer and dryer got into working order. They have all tackled my concerns without any hesitation or signs of annoyance, and I truly appreciate that! It is always scary moving somewhere new, but I am really glad that I made the decision to live at Bell Capitol Hill! It's a great location -- not too busy, but still within walking distance of shopping and the DC sights! I can't say thank you enough to the staff here! It really does feel like home!

Excellent place to live. Everyone is friendly and helpful. No problems with any appliances. Maintenance is fast and responsive! Neighborhood & amenities are AWESOME! Just wish tge rooftop had more hours of accessibility for early morning coffee! But 7am will have to do! Beautiful place to call home!
Bell Capitol has been very welcoming and great to call home! Everyone had been friendly and helpful. When you run out of coffee you are free to get a quick fix from their lounge area!
Bell Capitol Hill is immaculately clean and an absolute pleasure to live in! The leasing office friendly and helpful. They are always willing to go above and beyond to handle any inquiry I have had about the amenities and leasing questions. I could not have imagined a better environment to raise my teenage son and come home to relax after working. Bell Capitol Hill has been an answer to my prayers for a fresh start to satisfy my residential needs. In addition the building staff and my neighbors have been an equal pleasure! They should open more locations and have the staff trained on how to screen and choose residents & staff; especially how to treat their residents like royalty! I love everything about my new rental home at Bell Capitol Hill!!!
Management is by far the best in the DMV area! They actually deliver what they advertise; they live up to company standards! Again Bell Capitol Hill staff deserve a raise! Take care of your staff and reward them for all the hard work they have done to the bring the property up to par!!!!
No apartment is free of maintenance needs, but Bell Capitol Hill's management does an excellent job and constantly fixes issues within a timely manner.
I've never ever been so happy Living here at Bell Capitol Hill.
I'm a tenant at Bell Capitol Hill and have lived in the community for two plus years. I like where I live. The exterior landscaping and interior of the property is very modern and clean. In addition, I like that the surrounding neighborhood is quiet and I'm close to parks, tennis and basketball courts, playgrounds and national landmarks on Capitol Hill. I have immediate-access to metro, buses, trolley car servicewhich are in close proximity of my residence - as metro and bus stops are less than a five minute walk from my doorsteps.
TLDR: The units are nice and the location is a solid mix of residential & convenient. However, the management is money-hungry, doesn't care to be bothered, and will try to up your rent/fees at any opportunity they can. Pros: - Modern appliances (hardwood-esque floors, stainless steel appliances, spacious bathrooms, granite-looking countertops) - Solid utilities (On-site gym, lovely rooftop, parking garage, great security, package concierge system that is 80% effective at securing your package deliveries) Cons: - Management... they're really atrocious. Moving in, this building was managed by a different company (When it was Kennedy Row). They were fine. However, once Bell Capitol Hill took over, there was a noticeable shift for the worse. Some examples: - If you plan to stay longer than your initial lease agreement, they will raise your rent SIGNIFICANTLY. When the time came to renew, they tried to up our rent by nearly $400/month. Most places will increase your rent, but this was absurd. Luckily we threatened to leave and they came down significantly. - Initially, I had elected to reserve a parking spot in the garage. It was super convenient until I no longer needed a car and told them I would be cancelling my reserved spot. They told me that I was required to continue paying for parking through the duration of my lease agreement and would have to pay the monthly fee--regardless of whether I used the parking spot or not. It took a few back and forth emails/calls with management (and me citing the blatant fact that the lease I signed indicated nothing about payment for parking) before they finally said "Never mind." - Over the summer, my A.C. unit broke. And broke. And broke. Over the winter my freezer broke. And broke. And broke. And it took multiple maintenance requests and calls to get the issues resolved. (I should note: the maintenance staff is lovely. It's the management staff that continually disrespected, didn't believe, and /or refused to respond to my requests.)
I would not recommend Bell Capitol Hill in the least. The apartment is way overpriced, offers fewer amenities and is poorly managed. The handicapped doors are often broken, the mailroom is a mess and the package lockers will often break. When we moved out, we declined paying for their cleaning services. We usually do this because we take the time to clean our apartment ourselves and we know that companies will always go through and do a standard clean up before the next tenants move in. We then found out that they took all of our security deposit and then charged an extra $200. This is a pure money grab, which is what you can expect from BCH.
