Property Ratings at Beachland Manor
I live in the bottom apartments and they have flooded three times within a month. The first time sewer water was through the whole apartment and the new owner wanted to just clean the carpet but the water was running up my legs. I had to bug him and stress to him that it was to much water. The carpet had to be pulled up because with that amount of water, there will be mold. That took him almost two weeks to complete. He doesn't have a real team of people, just a drunk that lives down the road, he sent his teenage son and the old maintenance we use to have when someone else owned the building. BILL (THE OWNER) is very unprofessional and doesn't communicate well. The apartment flooded again July 3 and it took them a week just to bring us a blower to try to dry the carpet that was already mildew. He never came to clean the carpet and now we are currently moving. He was decent enough to let us out of our lease early but that's what happen when you dont want to get the problem fixed professionally and you dont want to work out a deal for the inconvenience yet again. I wouldn't rent from him but beware he owns a few of these buildings on this street.
Apartment in this area have very high appeal. Apartments are located in desired area because of the upkeep of the area. Highly preferred in this area due closeness of public transportation when you are without an automobile. Easily accessible to many shopping areas. Area is quiet and building and apartments are well kept. Apartment living on Lakesshore blvd most desirable because of mostly residential dwellings. Street and homes near apartments are well kept. Amenities offered are great and apartment do not appear to be run down. Toured a unit in one of the apartments on Lake shore blvd and was very impressed with the unit toured.
