Property Ratings at Basecamp at RED
I've lived here since this building was brand new. I will not renew here any longer. When they started "enforcing" parking, they reneged on promises given by to leaseholders and failed to follow up to even when they stated numerous times they would. In the past month water has been shut off no less than 4 times. Never is there any update or information from management except when it is down, even though they promise updates. The gates are continuously broken and again, never communicated as to when they will be fixed. With all the inspections they do at this place, about one every other month, you would think they would have no issues. There is a reason why most of the people who were here when this property opened are gone. The gate that I, along with many others, have complained about and has been down for over a month has been fixed for about a week. Something a competent management company would advise their tenants of, but alas I guess we were supposed to find out by seeing the maintenance people go through it. They did send a notice after this review was posted on another site...That notice was still wrong and they have yet to correct it.

Hello, Thank you for your honest feedback regarding your time at Basecamp. As the community has grown, there have been some changes that we have implemented, such as optimizing our parking program to ensure that all residents were able to have a parking space behind the gated area as advertised. We are aware of the mechanical and technical issues that have been happening with the hot water system and the parking gates. Thankfully the mechanical issue with the building wide hot water has been resolved and we are working with specialized vendors to complete the fixes needed on the technical aspects of the parking access gates. We truly appreciate your honesty and will take everything mentioned to heart to help grow Basecamp into one of the best communities in Reno.
