Banyan Grove

Banyan Grove is a nice quiet family oriented community! Lot of green and very nice pool. Maintenance team is on top and take care of issues very promptly!

Very polite staffing. Clean neighborhood. Alerts to neighborhood work and events are timely and respectful. Very good cleaning and yard crew. I love my neighbors. And it's right next to Kroger.

Our overall experience has been great. We haven’t had any serious issues of concern. I do wish that they kept the breezeways on the second floor and a higher cleaner and also we would really appreciate the pool hours extending a little longer than 7:00 PM in the summertime because of our working hours, we are not able to enjoy it as much as we would like to when we get home from a long day at work Even till 8 o’clock would be better than 7:00 PM . Other than that, I would definitely recommend Banyan Grove to anyone

I just recently moved from a 3 bed 2 bath to a 1 bed 1 bath and the transition was super smooth. Super glad to have the staff we do! The spaces are always clean. Great place!

Best maintenance department I've experienced. They are quick to complete tickets submitted on the portal. The ladies in the office, Ms. Carol and Ms. Trina, are the ones keeping everything together for us. They truly care and are very knowledgeable.

I applied for a unit, the system made me believe I was approved for the apartment I applied for, told me to create a resident account and this account only to be denied. So here I am.

Love how quick they are nice they are management and maintenance and how the apartment is very huge. They are very quick on issues we have and I love how they have trash cans to put outside.

Apartments are decent. I have an outdated apartment so no upgrades for me. Sometimes they don't answer the phone in the office. But service requests are completed quickly.

Location is great, area is quiet and peaceful. Associates in leasing office other best but maintenance and management aren’t the best. We had a terrible move in experience and haven’t had the best experiences with getting items fixed properly.

We love how clean and quiet our apartment is. Maintenance services are expedient, and the area is well-guarded for personal property. The new renovations are enjoyable.

This has been one of the easiest companies to work with regarding issues. The complex is clean and well maintained. They actively work towards resident satisfaction and community safety.

The maintenance guys are great! They address concerns in a timely fashion. The grounds are kept clean (for the most part). It is hard to get in touch with the leasing office, they seem to be unavailable most of the time when calling

My stay at the Banyan Grove apartment complex has been satisfying. Some of my few concerns are having 1 community dumpster, not having phone calls answered, not receiving call backs, and still having things promised prior to leasing not completed. I do enjoy the quietness of the community.

So far living at Banyan Grove has been nice. The Staff are super friendly and very helpful! Recently they have made changes that expedite work requests and have been on top of fixing things, same day fixes when a request was made! They are also working to keep the grounds clean and the complex looking nice, making it a nice place to live. The neighbors are also pretty nice and it is a safe place to live, however there are a lot of people who smoke weed and sometimes you can smell it from other apartments. Other than that, living here has been nice and you can tell the staff and management are working hard to make improvements!

Poor staff communication. Common outside areas normally trashy. Car wash didn't work as advertised. Recently added trash pick up service at your door so they could manage the trash build up around the complex, which was a good thing for the complex, but they imposed an additional $25 monthly fee on every resident. The hours they allow you to have your trash can outside your door is from 6pm to 9pm. If they catch your garbage bin outside of those hours they notes that they would impose an additional fine per occasion your bin is left outside your door, for example, if you work nights or stay late at a friend's, and your garbage bin is outside waiting to be picked up becauseyou had to leave for the day, they can fine you.

Noisy. I smell mariuana in my apartment and I don’t smoke. Neighbors yelling and cursing each other. Kids throwing and kicking a football in the parking lot and hitting expensive cars and then running away. Around 50 piles of huge dog poop in the yard area. Loud music in vehicles and loud talking and laughing in parking lot area after 10pm and sometimes it’s at midnight and 3am. I would say not so good at all.

Very nice staff, got me in here on a whim. Very patient with my anxiety. Good at explaining info. Great maintenance crew. Neighborhood is kept clean and safe for pets, kids and adults

Banyan Grove is a very nice place to live. It is close to many restaurants and stores. The office personnel is always helpful and all services calls have been done successfully and done well.

My experience has definitely begun to improve. I have been here for a little less than 1 year and I have seen the maintenance improve and when I have an issue, it has been handled in a timely manner.

Very quiet. Love easy access to surrounding stores and activities. Very nice gym area. Cant wait to use the pool. The balconies are HUGE!!!!

I'm from the Westcoast and I wanted to look somewhere pretty, quiet, yet lively enough to not feel alone, I got exactly that it was quick ans easy, detailed no hassle just facts and always avaliable staff who made my transition absolutely the biggest relief, after dealing with nightmares searching for a new place to call home. Moniecia was an absolute pleasure a good listener and prompt with information and made sure my needs were met she made the experience so smooth she felt more like I hired her personally.

I absolutely love living here. It's safe, comfortable, and quiet. Close to town center and lynnhaven. Right beside a grocery store. Pet friendly and nice units for a good price.

I really like the new trash fairy service! Over the community it quiet. Maintenance is too be desired for the price you pay to live here there is also a FAST turnover rate in the office and maintenance.

My wife and i have been living here since 2021 and it has been good. The only thing i would like to see is people not throwing trash around in parking lot and the kids to be more respectful of the grounds

I love my home and community. I wish that I could have been updated on some items within my apartment each time I have renewed my lease but overall I am happy with my community.

Carol is amazing and really does care about the residents and people on general. The property and my home are beautiful. I think that I can be happy here.

Maintenance needs to be better. Takes too long for something to get repaired. Too many cars and have to look for a parking space. Wished they had assigned parking spaces.

Haven’t had time to know yet, I am just settling in. It seems ok. Still waiting for my gym pass and a working key for my storage room. I don’t know any neighbors yet. Shopping being close by is great. I love the fact pets are allowed, my fur babies are my family. Electricity seems to be higher here. The complex isn’t quite for sure. I don’t care for hearing the jets over head, I was told that didn’t happen here but it does.

Can't wait to live here. It's just that it takes so long to get an answer whether or not you got the apartment. I have been waiting for so long to find out.

I’ve been living at Banyan Grove for 3 years and only had minor issues. All minor issues were fixed quickly and on the first time. Neighborhood is great and always kept clean. The entire staff is always friendly and helpful.

Ok. Pros: Front office ok. Maintenance guys a pretty good. Amenities car wash/pool/gym decent. Cons: dumpster is at the front of complex. People put their trash out side of door and make everything look dirty. Tow company think they are law enforcement and will tow your car for anything.

It’s a quiet community with a lot of nice amenities! The apartments themselves are very clean and spacious! I have yet to have any problems with my apartment and the staff in the leasing office work very hard and are very kind! The 24 hour maintenance team is always working to make the place better for the residents and the tenants are made to feel valued! Overall a great place to live!

Sometimes, you need the extra push to get the job completed. Not all correspondence made to Greystar directly has to be deemed a bad thing! We couldn't figure out why my brand-new ac until wasn't working! Eventually the contractor figured out the motherboard was "fried." Maintenance had no control of the contractor's willingness to come fix the problem. That's when Greystar corporate got involved. A problem that began in Early August was resolved in 72 hours once corporate got on the case. Greystar is an excellent management company!

When someone enters a new place not everything is apparent, clear. Sometimes, the atmosphere is chaotic, for example. This was not the case, however, when stepping into the front office at Banyan Grove. Everyone, especially the manager Carol, we're very warm, professional, helpful in creating an uplifting welcome to me. It was friendly. When I experienced a computer challenge help was provided in minutes. Everyone was very courteous, too. How could I have wanted anything better?

Maintenance takes forever to complete anything. It would also be nice to have more than just the compactor on the property. Additionally it would be amazing if the lawn people sprayed for miscitoes as we can't enjoy the outdoor spaces that we pay for without getting bitten. They also get into my car which is very irritating!

The experience has been overall amazing compared to other places I have lived . Everyone is friendly and inviting . I would recommend this place to others.

The staff here has made the move incredibly simple and answered any questions I have had. The complex is quiet and peaceful. This has been one of the best places I've lived in the area.

I wish the neighbors would be more respectful with the trash they just throw around in the parking lot. I wish dog owners would pick up after their dog does their business.

Maintenance has been super helpful in every situation we’ve had, they’ve responded quickly and gotten things done in a timely manner. The front desk staff is helpful with every concern we’ve had as well.

I enjoy living in the Banyan Grove community. With the exception of parking, my 14 years here has been great. Maintenance is always very responsive even though I've never had many Maintenance request. The Merry go round of property managers and personnel is never ending.

Banyan Grove is a very green, well maintained community, quiet too. Blake and Carol in the office are very nice and really make you feel you have come home! They really care you are taken care of. Cole and especially Matt are great for taking care of maintenance issues promptly. I am very happy to live at Banyan Grove now!

Great place to live only problem is the communication online, haven’t been able to have email communication through the app. Other than that this place is great, the apartments are clean, nice pool area, and the views are great!
