Axio Apartments

As the headline says, I ended up not moving here, but talking to Tanglewood (specifically Ms. Alayna) was such a good experience. She was very courteous, and answered all my questions and concerns professionally. I have a lot of anxiety about moving to Tempe and dealing with different properties, so having such a good experience with Tanglewood was such a huge help. This block was taken over by the new property managers in September 2020, so it is still under renovation. The renovations that they're currently doing, especially for the individual units, are very nice and look promising! I viewed a renovated one bedroom apartment, with the new appliances and bluetooth speakers in the bathroom and everything, and I loved it enough to want to move in. I do hope that I would deal with Tanglewood again for an actual move-in in the future!

Tanglewood is a great place if youre looking for a cheaper rental option. Any bad review you find about this place is probably from a resident who didnt pay their bills tbh. you arent going to find stainless steel appliances here, but what you will find is a wonderful property manager named Jodie. She (along w Joe the maintenance man) has single handedly turned the place around, and is the only reason why renting here is worth it (beside the price). Shes professional, friendly, and committed to solving whatever issues may arise in your renting experience. She values the privacy and happiness of her tenants above all else and makes that clear every day. Any issue ive ever had has immediately been handled by these two in a quick and professional manner and they truly make this place worth staying at.

Management is unavailable, not even in the office at least half the week; no signage on the door or way to contact them, either. There's a neighborhood watch person around almost always, but I wonder about the safety about the complex. Looking online I was wondering why this place was so cheap; visiting in person it's clear that you get what you pay for.
