Avery at TownCentre

Overall, I'm really happy with my apartment at Avery at Town Centre Commons. It's in a great location, close to downtown Brentwood, grocery stores, and restaurants. The apartment is spacious, unique, and has a lot of storage, which has made it easy to settle in and think of it as home. I plan to live here for a long time.

The location is excellent but for the noise created by the traffic and traffic stoplights. The apartments and grounds have a nice design.

A good place to raise a family. Very much liked the sense of community.

It's been better than a lot of other places, but still room for improvement.

The process from application to move in was extremely quick and really no issues whatsoever. The agents were excellent! I havent lived in an apartment for years and I must say. Pleasantly surprised. Also Avery is by far the cleanest and nicest apartments in the area.

This apartment complex is a great community and residence. The issues get handled in a timely manner and the office workers are really nice about informing weekly news.

I have lived here for 14 years. I have loved it, however this is the worst maintenance service, I have seen in 14 years. I have been through a lot of different apartment managers, however I haven't had any communication about my work orders unless I initiate it.

I hate reading long reviews but I highly advise anyone considering to rent from ConAm Prop., DO NOT! Kimberly is the prop. mnger and the reg. mnger is Angela. Let me start by saying the complex is gross! The gym is outdated and I have seen mice running around. The pool area is disgusting and homeless people hop the fence to use it as a bath. The shared laundry unit is horrible. The washers smell like mildew and often times you find tons of animal hair and smooshed food in them. The noise from the busy street makes it hard to sleep at night and since there are no walls you feel like you have no privacy. Homeless people cruise in and out and rummage through the dumpsters at all hours. There is very inadequate security. They installed cameras by the mailboxes recently because someone broke into them like 4/5 times and every time we would have to wait for the post master to come out and put new locks on all the boxes. Which takes forever. It's not a pleasant community. Kimberly the property manager gave out my personal info to another tenant she is friends with. Angela the regional manager backs her up so don't even try getting help there. It's like a nightmare trying to get help. Our neighbors, who are Kimberly's friends, harassed us and when we went to try to seek help from Kimberly she immediately shut down and refuses to deal with it. How are we suppose to live in a community where the apt mnger won't even listen to you? Angela also did the same thing. I had to go as far as contacting Andy, who is the head person for the companies NorCal properties. He was SO rude!!!! Our vehicles were egged and we know Kimberly's friends that live there did it. The police advised us to go to the property management and get help and if we could get video or some type of evidence they could help otherwise its out of their control. Well the management company, Andy specifically, told me that BPD is wrong. We're pretty much just suppose to lay down and take the bullying/verbal abuse I guess? I don't understand how you can allow some residents to be mistreated and cater to others? Kimberly should be able to deal with upset tenants. Anyone in our position would be just as furious as we are! We have never been disrespectful, raised our voice, yelled, or used foul language towards anyone at this company.

I would give -0 stars if I were able. Moved here recently and it is not very nice. Our first and second night here I witnessed two separate incidents requiring police activity. A resident was arrested twice for drugs and trying to steal a car from the parking lot. A large number of apartments are unkempt outside; rotten food left on patios, garbage, etc. Some vehicles appear abandoned since they have flat tires and are covered in a thick layer of dust and dirt. Quite a few transients meander through premises too. The mailboxes have been broken into a number of times. We are leaving soon. Been here two months and it feels like two years at least. We now have two stun guns and a portable security camera we use for apt. Very unsafe.

Very nice area to live in. The apartments are newly remodeled. Has a lot of commodities. They have a pool on site laundry room full gym. Very convenient shopping close by. I give a good rating because the grounds are well maintained and the area is safe and quiet. The apartments themselves though seem a little unfair because some are newer than others. I used to live in one of the newer apartments but recently moved into an older model because I wanted to have three bedrooms. One thing i noticed was the kitchen did not have the same upgrades as the other apartment and the doors are all beat up, as well as the walls. Even though they repainted them, one can still see the damage. But all in all the main thing is that I feel safe here and management is nice and helpful.
