Conroe is located in Montgomery County just north of Houston. Since Interstate 45 travels through Conroe and leads into Houston’s business district, residents prefer living in this suburban neighborhood and commuting to work.
It’s no secret that the cost of living in Conroe is lower than Houston. The city is attractive to many renters because of the reasonable commute times, and it’s only a seven-mile drive to Lake Conroe, a popular outdoor recreational area.
There’s a lot going on in the city – you just have to know where to look. Locals enjoy exploring the Sam Houston National Forest, which covers 163,000 acres of land and is the perfect place for camping or a scenic hike. After a lovely dinner at Red Brick Tavern, locals look forward to a musical at the Crighton Theatre on North Main Street. The Heritage Museum of Montgomery County is a great place to go and learn about the city’s evolution through the decades – and it is right next to Candy Cane Park.

The apartments itself are georgeous. The leasing office management staff is new and the worst I have dealth with. Very rude and unprofessional. They increase rent without notification by 45% of the total rent based on your income. beware!!!

Do not apply here unless you have great credit. I have around 600 credit score, no bad rental history, no criminal background and over the 3x monthly income. I got denied due to late payments on a credit card I reconsolidated. No option to get a cosigner or anything just a straight denial and they do a hard inquiry on your credit. So now I’m still looking for a place to live and they just hurt my credit score even more.

General lack of management & care. Security gates often do not work, rising crime in area. Trash left in common areas by tenants has increased in last 3 months. Far too many dogs for the available green space, owners often do not clean up after Fido. The overwhelming odor greets you every morning on the way to your car. Pool hours of operation are not managed, nor is the noise level...so get some ear plugs if you are anywhere near the pool. Property is getting older and the cheap equipment is breaking down.

The two years I was there was great! The staff was always helpful and any maintenance issues that came up were taken care of immediately. All in all, it was a very pleasant living experience. I miss it there.
These apartments seem nice but the staff, excluding the maintenance workers, are horrible. Mail gets lost in the office constantly. Parking is hard to find at the end of the day. Overall my experience here has been nothing short of bad.
