My villa at Avenida is overpriced, the landscaping is horrible as there are numerous dead plants in the backyard and the bushes in the front have never been trimmed. The HVAC is not energy or performance efficient. The management does not take responsibility for anything that is brought to their attention. Regarding your concerns about landscaping, we understand the frustration and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Our team is actively working on improvements, though recent weather conditions have caused delays. Over the past couple of months, Carrollton has received approximately 8.31 inches of rainfall, including periods of cold weather which caused us to have some snow days. These conditions have impacted our ability to maintain landscaping at the expected pace, but rest assured, we are committed to enhancing the outdoor spaces and we are at full speed. As for the HVAC system, we have conducted numerous energy performance tests and can confidently assure you that our systems meet high efficiency standards. However, if you are experiencing specific issues, we would love the opportunity to assess them and find solutions that improve your experience. Management is always listening, and we continuously strive to make meaningful improvements for our residents. It’s a great place to live. I looked all over Dallas and this was by far the best for the price. I’m so glad I moved here. The community of fellow Seniors as well as the office staff is wonderful, there’s plenty of activities, and the entire complex is professionally designed and furnished.

This is my second time living in a 55 Active Adult apartment. Avenida is exactly what I anticipated living here it would be. The staff is outstanding and friendly. There are so many activities it is hard to fit them all into my schedule! Come join us and get to meet new friends!

Avenida is a great place to live for senior adults. Lots of fun activities and friendly residents and staff. It is a great location too. The amenities are so nice and they have something for everyone. I would highly recommend this community.

The place rocks! We love the residents and the many amenities offered by Avenida. Meet-and-greet gatherings help us learn more about new residents and build camaraderie with those we've met. So convenient to groceries, dining, freeways, and retail shopping. Great overall location and environment for active seniors.

Communication needs to be improved enormously. The residents still don't know when the security gates will be functional or the pool ready for use. The mailboxes are another issue. This is the second week of living here and our mail box keys that we finally received yesterday do not work. We do understand that there are so many loose ends when opening a facility such as this. But, communication whas been and still is lacking and inaccurate from the beginning. The residents are receiving differing information from the staff.. it depends on who you talk to.

Hey there, Thanks so much for sharing with us as we truly appreciate your feedback. Yes, we did open the building before some areas were completed (amenity spaces) as an example. We did this to accommodate a number of residents that had pending moves that had been already delayed by construction. While we tried to communicate as best as possible between construction and to our residents, we know that some issues may have certainly required more attention. We do thank you all for your patience in getting through those growing pains. We think that we are getting there now so thanks again for your review and again for your patience. Avendia is a great place to live for 55 Plus. Sales associates are wonderful, friendly and always takes the time to listen. Few weeks I have lived here have been great.
