Property Ratings at Ashwood Cove
Management refuses to do anything about loud, obnoxious tenants that are constantly breaking property rules. Their "Courtesy Officers" are never available, either. I constantly have to deal with neighbors getting drunk and playing music in the parking lot until all hours of the night, and the property manager hasn't taken one single action. It's also massively overpriced for the age of the buildings. The property is ancient.

The people that work here are absolutely fake, and it's in everything they do. Don't waste your time with this place. There are better places and better people to give your money to.

This place is awful and overpriced. Everything breaks constantly. Maintenance is nice enough but in a reliably run complex you shouldn't have to know all of you maintenance people by name. They overcharge, let unauthorized people live here and harass their neighbors, smoke weed and drink outside leaving beer cans and bottles like the projects. They are totally in it for the money. They add on services, like trash pickup, that they charge for and don't allow you to opt-out adding to the already ridiculous rent for what they are. They will screw you over totally if you want to leave because they violate the terms of their lease. Don't be fooled by the 2 pools, one was down most of the last summer, or the 2 laundry rooms, also one of the 2 down most of last year. This is a mishmash of old complexes that there purchased under one name. Same yourself the headache and drama.

The buildings are older. You will run into issues with dishwasher leaking, windows that don't close, door falling off hinges, etc. Good luck getting a maintenance request filled. You will get the run around and then they will tell you its your fault some how. Very rude attitudes. They don't do anything special for residents like you see elsewhere. We didn't move here for that, but it's still somehow underwhelming. Keep looking.
I used to live in it was a horrible experience don't have your friends and family over because their car will be towed and if you're moving into these apartments do not have kids because they'll complain about your kids running around not only that but even if you pay the rent and your water or electricity get cut off no matter how long how soon you can cut back on they'll put an eviction notice on your door because you violated the lease

Those are separate accounts that you would have set up in your own name. Having utilities up to date and active are required as part of your lease agreement. We never should have left our old apartment complex. First of all, the rent is far to high for how cheap the apartments look. There's cracks all in the drywall and in our ceiling. The maintenance is awful. None of the bathroom plugs work. We put in an order and they never got fixed. We also had our bathroom flood from one of the cracks in our ceiling as well as the fan in the bathroom. We called emergency maintenance and they never came. We had to put in the order two more times before anyone came to look at it. The crack is still not fixed. There are also ants and spiders everywhere. The apartment isn't messy, but the windows are awful and bugs keep coming in through it. We put in an order and it still has not improved. The second our lease is up, we are out of here.
1.we were showed a model then given different apartment after we signed the least. 2. Suppose to be a "brand new remodel" the apratment was falling apart door we had to replace the screws on our bedroom door because the door started falling off and the closet door also the handle to the sliding door fell off and the washing machine fell out it's little hole.a/c went out 3water leaking through hallway light. They stopped the leaking and took a whole month to come.back and fix the hole in the ceiling. 4 towed my car for 200 when parking pass fell out of my window even though my Vehicle is registered with apartment 5 mailbox broken and literly wide open for anyone to get my mail

They try to find ways to make you spend money. The rent is expensive, amenities of the apartment less than average. When you have issues with the apartment and I'm having troubles trying to get them to fix it.

Called ealier about moving in with a dog. a Doberman pinscher, I was told my dog would not be allowed to reside in ashwood cove. While checking out the surronding area no LESS the 4 tennants had bull terriers. who are also on the agressive breed list. pass this place up.

Spring is in the air and I love all the flowers starting to bloom around the property. Apparently there is a lot of work going on right now, and I see a lot of large storage containers sitting around the property. After doing some snooping around I found out the apt complex is get some major overhaul with some remodeling, new cabinets, and new appliances. I just went by the office to drop of my rent and the girls in the office were super friendly as usual and told me my unit was on the list to be updated...excited!! I enjoy living here and the majority of time it is nice and peaceful like a family complex should be. I constantly see the maintenance men zipping around on their carts like busy little bees trying to keep everything running smoothly and Officer Don our courtesy officer making his rounds, and watching out for the kids playing. I would highly recommend Ashwood Cove to my friends, especially if they have children. If your a college student and looking for a place to party or have been kicked out of other complexes for causing problems, then this probably isn't the place for you, I do know that management has a ZERO tolerance policy for these types of things.
My daughter and I have lived here for approximately 4 years and call Ashwood Cove "Home". The apartments are older, but well maintained and the grounds are always immaculate. We make good use of the pools we have, playground and dog park. The convenience of the complex can't be beat with us being located near downtown and the MTSU campus, not to mention the local malls and shopping. The complex has a great laundry facility that accepts debit cards, so you don't always have to go looking for change. The staff have always been good to work with and if there is ever a change in rent at renewal time they have always notified in advance, so there are no surprises and they have always tried to compensate in other ways with appliance upgrades or new flooring. The maintenance staff and courtesy officers are always friendly and professional, and go out of their way to ensure everything is working properly and safely. If you do or don't have kids you will love the environment and there are always children outside playing, and neighbors walking their dogs to the dog park.
Its a very friendly place, the environment is great. Its is peaceful and quiet, so if you just wanted to spend a quiet day or night just sitting on the porch you could! The yard work is always kept up with. The pools are kept clean. They are pet friendly apartments, they also have a bark park!
Ashwood cove is where I live. I like the space and having my back porch a lot. Those are the good things. The bad things about the apartment is when I moved in practically everything was broken! The dishwasher, the dryer, the toilet paper holders, and a shelf that had all my plates on it. It broke and destroyed all my plates! My air conditioner went out a total of ten times before they finally fixed it right. It was a nice space to live in besides the broken things. I wouldn't recommend anyone trying to live here for the rent to be $899 a month with all the stresses I've been through here.
