At the heart of Downtown, the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse, built in 1821, is a local landmark. Residents can catch a play at the Aurora Theatre, spend the afternoon at Sweet Water Park, or see the historic gristmill at Freeman's Mill Park.
Downtown Lawrenceville is roughly 30 miles northeast of Downtown Atlanta, and residents can commute into the city using nearby I-85.
