Located about eight miles north of Downtown Seattle, the area of Lake City was once a railroad stop. It was named in 1906 and quickly developed into a suburb of Seattle. During Prohibition, the area was unincorporated. So when Seattle joined Prohibition, Lake City supplied the roadhouses and speakeasies barred from the nearby city. Lake City became a Seattle neighborhood in the mid-1950s. With Lake Washington as the neighborhood’s sparkling gem, residents are rediscovering this northern neighborhood.
Lake City stretches from the lake to roughly 15th Avenue in North Seattle. While the speakeasies are long gone, there are several popular destinations along Lake City Way, including HellBent Brewing Company Elliott Bay Public House & Brewery, Brother Barrel, and 2C Thai. If you are moving to Lake City with a pet, you’ll appreciate Dogwood Play Park, an indoor dog park and bar complete with a treat bar and birthday cakes for pet parties.

I pay $125 a month for a compact parking spot next to a concrete column and I can't connect with the towing company after hours because Array doesn't give us access to have people towed from our own parking spots. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

A positive change is that vehicle owners are notified via email because their vehicle is parked illegally, rather than simply being picked up and taken away. a good gym is always clean. And a good set of exercise machines. a good hall for receiving guests and holding events. a cozy and beautiful park in the courtyard, very quiet to sleep - no road noise. very pleased with the presence of a playground and a park for recreation and dog walking nearby. also pleased with the fact that the road between the park and the complex is closed, which is very safe for children. for me the greatest value of this complex is the good attitude towards animals and underground parking

I would not recommend living at Array appartments until they figure out their management and staffing situation. Their poorly staffed operation leads to an unclean environment, many security breaches, confusion in leadership, and just downright poor service. If the aforementioned problems could be improved, Array Apartments would be a wonderful place to live.

The Array Leasing Staff made sure that my move-in was seamless. Anything that was not working they made sure to have resolved quickly. The apartment was move-in clean & I appreciate how accommodating the staff - both leasing & maintenance - were to my needs. The apartment itself is nice, but what sets Array apart is the leasing staff. The primary reason I decided on Array was not the price or the location, but the interactions I had with the staff. Close your eyes and imagine walking to your very own parking spot inside your very own gated garage… Now, imagine finding your car windows bashed in with all your belongings stolen. Do you feel that? That feeling of shock and horror? Get used to that feeling, because at Array, it will happen over and over. Would you like to know the icing on the cake? You’ll get no sympathy from anyone. Not management.. Not security… Maybe a little from maintenance, because they’re the ones that have to help you sweep up the glass. My girlfriend and I have both had our cars broken into all within a timeframe of 3-4 weeks. At any time of the day, any day of the week, I could easily find a car in our garage that has recently been broken into. Our community is RIDDLED WITH CRIME. So unless you enjoy lackluster security responses and/or becoming best friends with the police hold line… then I would advise you to “stay away from Array” (Let that little jingle sink in, it will serve you well). Tonight (04.04.2022) was the biggest score yet. They really knocked it out of the park tonight. 6 vehicles in one night! I wonder if they can beat their record? I would rather just leave my car windows down so I don’t have to continue cleaning broken glass.
The Array apartments are well kept and are a good value in terms of the amenities, sizing, and quality of what you get for your rental price. Staff are friendly and residents also seem friendly.

Array is a great place to live IF you dont care about being heard, or want to have a decent community. Your apartment will be nice on the inside but prepare to stay in or go out a lot and not spend time at the community because its gross.

So far Array has provided the best renting experience that I have ever been involved in! Everything in the apartment was clean and up to date. The staff is warm and inviting. They make themselves available to answer any and all questions. One of the biggest perks to me is how safe I feel due to the security. I live alone and it was one of the biggest things I was worried about moving to a new area alone. Another huge perk is the park right across the street. It is a really nice area to take your kids and pets, and there are always lots of people enjoying its proximity and cleanliness :).

In order to increase the cleanliness of the community, we have implemented a new pressure washing schedule and will be focusing on the entrances of the building and high traffic pet areas. We have also purchased some additional spray products to help deter pets from urinating in the common areas as much as possible. Look just do not rent here.... I’ve lived all over, no place is as bad as this... Bugs in apartments and pungent urine in stairwells (for months.) Terrible neighborhood. It may look decent on the outside but it’s a different story within. It’s that bad ....I have proof of everything I’d love to show the pictures of what I mean.

I'm on my second lease and I've only had one maintenance concern which was the fire alarm. Largely, it's been a comfortable place to come home to. Issues have been at a minimum regarding some after hour noise and cleanliness however for the most part I've found the Array Apartments a good place to stay.

Overall is satisfied. The floor plan is excellent. Very spacious and well planned and appliances are well maintained. The facilities are new and enough. I enjoy the small park inside the apartment. However the office and management team is not very responsive. Parking is very limited. The package locker will charge you $10 everyday if not picked up by 48 hours which is crazy.

Great apartment complex, the staff is pretty nice, the apartments are beautiful, the lay out is perfect. All the elevators on each floor is locked including the doors so for the area they are doing a good job keeping everyone safe as possible.

Array is great bang for your buck. Nice units with a lot of space for the price, good amenities, and a bustling neighborhood. Close to bus routes and I-5, and close to food shopping on Lake City Way.

We have lived at the Array for 3.5 years in a Urban 1 bedroom unit. We loved our time in that unit. We had amazing experiences with staff and maintenance. We had some minor issues with the neighbors, but nothing a friendly conversation or quick note couldn't rectify. We love the value, the beauty, and most importantly the care taken to maintain this building. I work from home, and every single Monday morning I hear the all too familiar sound of the vacuum cleaner out in the hallway. I look forward every year to the window & building cleaning and the cleaning of the dryer vents. The apartment inspections, while at times a tad inconvienent, still very appreciated. You don't see buildings managed and cared for like this anymore today. It is very much appreciated. We have since not only renewed our lease with Array, but also upgraded to a beautiful 1 bedroom/den apartment on the 3rd floor of E Building. I cannot tell you how happy, content, and safe we feel in our new unit. I don't forsee another move in our future for quite some time!!! Keep up the amazing work Office Staff, & Maintenance. I have loved living at Array. I love my apartment and I feel safe here on the first floor with my dog. There is every kind of dog that lives here and the property is kept so clean and well manicured.

Look this place is unbelievable.... there is not ventilation, no ceiling fans , no A/C....so that means your apartment will become an oven. They say it’s green built whatever this places was built with cheap materials and they itch no concern for resident experience. Will be loving as soon as lease is up that is certain. Would never of moved here if it wasn’t the only option at the time. Pay 1700 for a place with no ventilation on whatsoever ... no thanks! Seattle does get hot enough and it can be 70 and your place will be 85-90 not kidding have pictures to prove it. This place is beyond loud, move a block over have A/C potential and far less noise. Noise level on the main road is a 10/10 especially considering YOU have to have your windows open or you will cook. It’s terrible just don’t do it.
