Property Ratings at Arlington Commons-The Truman
I lived here for twenty-one months just to have my deposit withheld, and charged extra, for what is normal wear and tear. Specifically, touch up paint, carpet cleaning, and general cleaning even though the unit was left spotless. Would NOT recommend The Truman or any Nehemiah property.
As a resident I’m experiencing a cockroach issue that I didn’t create.
Save yourself the headache, staff is very nice but it is impossible to get an answer about anything
So let me explain our experience at the Truman! We moved to the Truman in October 2021. The complex was brand new and our apartment was perfect and I was excited for to move in to our new apartment! The apartments are nice and the property (was) new and clean. However things are slowly getting broken and not fixed. The leasing office ladies are nice, but they do not get things done! BEWARE! If you need anything from the leasing office, you will be pulling your hair!!! Fire alarms keep going off, parking garage gates are always busted, property is unresponsive to work orders, and the property rules are not followed! Even the pool is green!
The walls are very very thin, the pipes in the walls knock constantly, fire alarm system goes off for hours at times, you will get towed, beware of getting a apartment facing the highway/street the windows blockout zero noise and air. People think I’m outside how much noise channels inside, hidden/extra fees. Nice amenities
