Property Ratings at Archer Medical District
I would give 0 stars if I could. There was a homeless person living in the stairwell and upon going on the roof to look at the view were many piles of human poop. Unsanitary and unsafe but that’s just the beginning. We signed a three month lease that they added multiple weeks to and said we had to pay even though we made it clear from the start we wouldn’t be staying the whole three months. They are sneaky and dishonest. On top of that after asking MULTIPLE TIMES if we had done everything we needed to do to make sure that our vehicles were in the the system so they wouldn’t get towed - one week in and my car got towed and took a full day to get it back even though they admitted it was their fault it was still a huge waste of time that I had to take off work. They are scammers I would highly recommend that you look elsewhere for somewhere to live. Also, most of the rooms look nothing like the photos. The kitchen sink is so small you can’t even wash a pan in it - I’m not exaggerating it’s ridiculous.
Under no circumstance move here, please listen. Crime is rampant, gate and entries are always broken, homeless people walk up and down the community and even camp out in the garage and nobody does anything to secure your safety. Moving out ASAP, this place is not safe.

Vibe Medical District Apartments are a great place to live with friendly management and maintenance staff. The newly renovated apartments are beautiful and the amenities are nice. I will say the gym could use some updated equipment and new paint but it doesn't keep me from using it.

Convenient to hospitals and downtown but so much quieter. Which works for me. Clean, affordable, great Staff, great maintenance with a short turnaround. Friendly neighbors. Alarm, gated, washer/dryer in unit. My apartment has no carpet which helps my allergies!! Great place to live!! Don't take my word, put it on your list as a "must see"!

Have had leaks in my ceiling for the past few months. The office says its a high priority but it still isnt fixed. Ive called and when placed on hold have been hung up on and not called back. No sense of urgency or care.

Vibe Medical District is a nice quiet community overall with friendly residents. They could go from good to great by focusing on their resident's needs and quick turn around on work orders/being proactive in their communication. I find myself having to constantly follow-up in order to get things done which can be exhausting when you have just moved in. Otherwise, we are liking it here so far!

I've been living at Vibe's for 6 months now. Management is very respectful and professional, maintenance staff on time and effective. The only problem is that unfortunately some neighbors aren't considerate, walls are thin and noise bothers me some times. Other than that I've loved this place so far!

Close to a Kroger foods, good if you cook for yourself. Right by Harry Hines and Public transit. Parking Garage normally has enough room for you to park on the same level as your place. Easy to access parking garage. Nice pool. Weight room is minimal, but has some equipment, and the equipment is good.

I love living at VIBE, the management is amazing, helpful, and understanding. Some neighbors, though, are not understanding of apartment living/hearing people walk above them. The floors are fairly thin, but otherwise it is wonderful.

I greatly appreciate the management's efforts in keeping the apartment complex well maintained. The recent improvements to the exterior finishes made it a more attractive place to live. It is well constructed, and very quiet. The office staff is excellent.

its horrible place. our car broke in 2 time in first 2 days. management did not inform anything about safety concerns and growing homeless people right next to the building

We moved to a new apartment and have have experienced a bad roach problem. The situation has been going on for 6 months now. Orkin told us that what they do does not work. We were told that Orkin would do a major clean job someday, but have not heard from them since. 2nd, the elevators rarely work. The one near our apartment has not worked for 5 months... kinda sad that they just leave it and can't fix it. If you like roaches all over your kitchen, elevators that don't work and an increasingly non-responsive management team, then this is the perfect choice. Really disappointed and will not be renewing the lease as I do not want to bring a baby into this roach infested environment.

I've refrained from writing this review because I wanted to give this place a fair chance to redeem themselves.The first year we rented everything was pretty good. A few gripes here and there with the elevator being broken a lot and the alarm testing but nothing too crazy. We're on our second year here now and we've had a string of unfortunate encounters with management and was hoping that it was just a rough patch but it seems now to be the new norm. Ophelia, in particular, is probably the most incompetent manager this place has and they honestly would be much better off without her working here. I constantly have to email, call and go to the office to follow up on requests which unfortunately seem to always lead to her. I really dislike working with her because it's like babysitting. As a resident, I don't get paid to manage an office manager, I pay them rent to manage the apartment and resident requests. She leaves me days and sometimes weeks without any sort of communication as to the status of her progress. I get that they're probably busy but don't go a week without a follow up (especially when you tell me "I'll reach out tomorrow") to just let me know you haven't been able to get to it yet or have someone else handle it. That's what being a manager is, delegating responsibility so that things don't fall through the crack and so that I don't have to write a bad review. We won't be renewing and we most definitely won't be referring anyone to waste their money here. How is it possible that this place has an average 5 star review when there's only 1 out of 12 reviews that gave them 5 stars? I HIGHLY recommend putting your rent money to better use at another apartment complex. There's plenty of other places to go.

They have been doing random fire alarm testing for over a year now. They give us notification hours before they start (well after I’m supposed to sleep being a night shift ICU RN) and then blame the alarm company for not notifying them. But do they contact said company and do anything about the lack of notification? No, they just shrug and say “sorry for he inconvenience”. Well I’m sorry for the inconvenience I’m too tired to take care of your critically ill parent or child and they died because of my error, due to my coworkers and I didn’t get any sleep. The convenience of living across the street from work is entirely cancelled out by never knowing when you can actually get sleep in between shifts. This is bad management. A management that cared about all the medical professionals that live here would ensure they knew ahead of time and could make arrangements to sleep somewhere else on days that alarms will be blaring in their bedrooms. The management just got defensive and irritated when I came downstairs in the middle of my own sleep to inquire why this is a repeat problem and continues to occur without notice.

Ever since the first day I've been a resident at Vibe I've received the most warm genuine assistance that can only come from family! Every issue I've had has been addressed urgently, also not to mention the location is ideal whether you're in the medical field or a party goer. I highly recommend this property if you're looking for a family atmosphere and just a great living experience.

I'm leaving this community after the best time of my life. They've changed management so many times it's crazy. The new management people won't answer calls or requests. Everything is under maintenance or construction and won't work. Prices have risen dramatically because of the new communities but it's not worth it. Even police had to come after an attempted assault/robbery happened. It's not even safe. Just go somewhere else where you feel like a community member.
DO NOT MOVE HERE. The Leasing Office staff is rude, condescending, and incompetent. I've lived here for almost a year, and not one maintenance request (even those deemed urgent) has been dealt with in a timely manner- I have always had to call multiple times and often go to work a little late so that I could talk to someone in person. Office hours are an ENORMOUS problem for us because they're closed when we leave for work and are closed by the time we get home. Even if you are home during their hours (weekends included), they often leave for hours at a time with no notice or note indicating when they will return. This makes picking up our packages incredibly difficult. The complex is always under construction and maintenance workers are loud, inconsiderate, and often point and make comments at women walking by. I brought this up to a Leasing Office staffer and she could not have cared less. We have NOT FELT SAFE in this complex since we moved in and learned that the built-in security system is not a standard feature, as it was advertised during our tour, and is too expensive for us to use. In the time that we've been here, there have been several break-ins, a woman was robbed in the parking lot and had her car stolen, and the garage gate is broken and left open at least 50% of the time. Although the units themselves are beautiful and overall very quiet, we have hated living here and wouldn't even recommend this complex to someone we don't like. As an added bonus, the grounds are consistently covered in dog droppings, and if you live on the first floor (like we do), you cannot sit outside on your patio during the summer due to the overwhelming smell.
2140 is situated for convenience, you are surrounded by the best hospitals in Dallas, you are never too far from downtown or uptown, and there are multiple modes of transportation at your doorstep. Should you not feel like driving, the dart is just right across the street, if you're enjoying a night downtown, taxi services are at your fingertips at little cost. The apartment complex has an incredible almost posh hotel like lobby, a well equipped gym, 2 pools, and a garage so your commutes are never too warm or too cold. Apartments are well sized with a great view, not to mention, the very top of the parking garage gives you an incredible view of Dallas. 2140 has an ultra modern vibe, and is pleasantly suited for working individuals or students starting their careers in Dallas.
